This book gave me ALL THE FEELS! Each of the characters was deeply flawed, raw, and real. The romance was written to perfection and the spicy scenes were SO GOOD! I was invested in Lily's story right from the beginning. The ending left me reeling, thinking about it for days, and I can't wait until the next book comes out!

This was an emotional roller coaster of drama! Sooooo much drama. Not in a bad way, but I was exhausted when I finished reading. I actually liked the angsty storyline (it’s not usually my cuppa), but am struggling with the cheating aspect. Typically, it’s hard pass for me, but I couldn’t help but like Damon and Lily and hope they get their ending! And a damn cliff hangar isn’t fair after all that angst!!!!

This book broke my heart in all the best ways!
If you're the kind of reader that likes being drawn emotionally into your books and likes to cry then you need to read this book. This book will reel you in, tear out your heart and stomp it into the ground. It will ruin you. Read it!!!

I wasn’t expecting this to take me on such a ride. And the best(worst?) part was the huge twist that blindsides you toward the end. I’m desperate for book 2. And book 1 hasn’t even been released yet! I’m so honored to have been able to be an ARC reader! Thank you for choosing me! 💜

Though this is not my typical genre, I truly enjoyed (at times hated) this book! It took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Loved the journey the fmc went on and am looking forward to the next book!

I just finished reading this ARC (thank you for allowing me to do so)! OH. MY. GOD. It was AMAZING!! I LOVED IT!!
It's a story of Damon and Lilly. They are both broken in some way and together they help each other find peace. But as always, something always tries to destroy the good!
This book will make you laugh, get mad, your heart will ache. You will be so sucked into it, you will be screaming at them what to do!! Or at least that's what I was doing!! Again it was just AMAZING!!

This was a hard one for me
I usually stay away from duets. I religiously stay away from books that don't have a happy ending, or end in a cliffhanger. This book didn't end in a cliffhanger but the ending is decidedly NOT happy. I stay away from books with cheating, but this book included that too. So it was a hard book for me emotionally. My opinion is that life is too short, and reality too discouraging to spend time reading books you will not enjoy. However, the characters plight grabs you from the beginning and will not let go. The drama keeps you turning pages, shutting out the outside world. So if the things that bother me don't bother you, lose yourself in this story, it will suck you in

Enjoyed it.
From the beginning, I loved this book. But then, and it was probably me and not this book, I had a hard time staring focused. But then, I was hooked again. But, I wish I’d paid attention that this was part of a duet when I started it, because the ending.. I need the next part now. Lol. But overall, this was a great book, with wonderful characters. Lily is a strong character, who overcame some things. You are hoping every works out for her. But that aunt of hers? I didn’t like her one bit. I’ll definitely be picking up the next book, because I have to know what happens.

Everyone who loves new adult romance needs to get on the Broken Lullaby train asap! All aboard for pain, comfort & love! 🚂 Damon and Lily’s story gripped me so much, I even woke up early to read some before work and couldn’t stop thinking about it. A really fantastic group of characters who were flawed and human. The writing style was impeccable, too. Without spoiling anything, the ending!! Ahh!! Insane. So beautiful and one that will stick with me.
Can’t wait for the second book!

This was exactly what I needed as a palate cleanser after reading so many fantasy novels.
I always love characters that are flawed, emotional, and real. And that is what Lily is.
I was able to connect with her sense of loss, longing, and sadness.
The feeling of just existing, going through the motions, portraying some sort of resemblance to a functioning, well-adjusted person.
There is turmoil, tears as well as laughter so much so you will end up swimming in a sea of emotions, but will enjoy the sweet torture this book gives especially because it is (mostly) relatable, raw, and beautifully written.
Oh, and amazing spice ❤️
I can't wait to read book 2 in The Broken Duet series.

Cute and sweet with some heartache
Lily goes through a huge heart ache and loss of identity and finds love that helps her on her road to healing.
I enjoyed this book as much as I could after coming off a book bender that put me through the ringers so please keep that in mind with my review.
This book was on the sweet side of a heartbreak romance. It does include some cheating which helps the story line which I’m still not sure how I feel about. Overall it was a quick read and made me wanting to move on to the second book to finish the story.

This book had me sad and happy and sad again going no. Please no they characters both had a past but their love showed them they can be happy things are never happy it’s like real life things that can happen and the feelings would be real life as well I felt these emotions and saw my self smiling with the love I was seeing I think she had the two characters helping each other out but it is not happy ever after Damon loses her but she gets back something she lost when she lost her parents I really am excited to see where the next book goes

This book was so much more than I expected. I was thinking about it for almost two weeks after and I just kept reflecting on how many pieces seemed benign at the time of reading, but came together in the end.
Lilly is in her early 20s and we meet her not long after a traumatic experience. She is experiencing grief and develops PTSD with panic, depression, and some not-so-healthy coping. She meets Damon, our forbidden-love bad boy with his own trauma and walls.
I was so enthralled with the Lilly-Damon love story that Lilly's growth and her worldview change, snuck up on me. It was probably the greatest reason I thought about the book so much afterward; I kept thinking about all the subtle ways Lilly changed and the accuracy of her experience. I think many people who've been lost and forced to grow and change as a young adult will connect with Lilly.
This is a slow burn and the spice was masterful. Masterful. It was descriptive and immersive, but not overpowering the plot. The sexual tension was paced well and drove the story.

I only gave 4/5 because I needed therapy after this! SOOOOO DANG GOOD! It was so angsty and twisty and I’ve read it several times now! I cannot wait for the next one! Some slow burn at the beginning, and definitely a forbidden lover vibe so keep that in mind. So well written, my heart burst and then broke into pieces all through this book. The spicy scenes are very well written and the story flowed well and moved at a great pace, never bored!

I guarantee you won't put this book down. It consumed me, I devoured this story in one night. The writer's did a superb job at drawing you in and keeping you in. You feel each emotion from the eloquent writing. The details, the emotions, the characters had me crying, laughing, and cursing.
A book hasn't pulled all my heart stings like this in years!

Great book. I couldn’t put it down. A little slow at first but if you stick with it it’s good. I have a hard time with the cheating aspects but the two main characters go good together. Cannot wait for the next book to see if true love does happen. Great book! Would recommend if you like romance with a little spice and some drama.

This book takes you through all your feelings .It so very well written. It takes u on a journey through Damon and lillys life's. It brakes you and and starts to put you back together. I can not wait for book two... if I had a thing I thought could be more. Is more about Damon. And his life before lilly. But was a very good read. .. can't wait to see what they do next..

Wow! I don't read a lot of romance but this pulls out all the stops. The sexual tension was incredible and I had a couple of late nights racing to get to the good bits! But it's not just about the spice. There's great character development for both leads and I loved Lily's story. The ending. gahhhhhh.

I enjoyed following along on her journey of unimaginable loss to internal peace. There was just the right balance of character development and romance. Even though I’m glad she found her spark in the end my heart hurts for their unfortunate luck. I am excited to see how the story progresses in book two!

This book is just filled with emotions. I could not put it down. The angst and powerful pull between the characters had me crying, laughing and screaming at the characters on many different occasions. I hate that I finished this and didn't have the 2nd book already!!
While I didn't love the writing style (picky comment, I know), I really enjoyed the story and am desperate to find out what is going to happen to Lily and Damon.
Solid angst. Good spice. But ending the way it did??? I NEED BOOK 2 NOW!

I'm not very good at stringing together words that aren't fictional, but I just wanted to leave a review for this novel. Broken Lullaby is more than a story. It's an emotional, raw, real, sexy, entertaining and well written masterpiece. I have read it twice now to capture some of the details I didn't the first time, and it is SO good. I cannot recommend it enough.

This book had all.of.the.drame. I had so many feelings and ups and downs. There was one part that really got under my skin, but it was more of a personal reading preference thing. And OMG that ending…. When’s the next one out?

I absolutely loved this book. I'm very into dark romances. This book is full of angst. The characters are likable, plot Is full of excitement. Can't wait for book 2. Highly recommended. There are some trigger ⚠️ warnings. Highly recommended

Page-turning romance
I opened this book expecting a quick, casual read. I was not expecting to have my heart torn to shreds. I love Lily, her character is so strong and passionate and she deserves the whole world. Loved her character arc and can't wait to read what happens next.

Great book
I loved the character development in this book. I really loved how Damon and Lily both had troubled pasts they managed to overcome together. I was hoping for a better ending for the couple. Im interested to find out what happens in book 2.
