Raven -- I learned the hard way not to trust anyone. First the men who’d hurt me, and then my mother when she’d turned her back on me. I had no one. Was it any wonder I didn’t think I had a reason to keep living? A good Samaritan had other ideas, landing me in a psychiatric hospital. Too bad the guards were every bit as evil as those men I’d trusted.
I thought I’d die alone. Unwanted. Unloved. Forgotten. Until the Hades Abyss MC came to take me away. They claim my father sent them, except I’ve never met him. Don’t even know his name. I’d try to run, but what’s the point? Besides, there’s one man who makes me feel safe. Fox. It doesn’t matter that he’s older than me. When he holds me, I know nothing will ever hurt me again. I just didn’t count on losing my heart to him.
Fox -- Breaker brought Hatchet’s daughter to the clubhouse, and the moment I looked into those vacant eyes, I knew she’d been badly broken. Some part of me wanted to fix her. Put the pieces back together. Watch her eyes light up and see her smile. She thinks she’s dirty, that no one will ever want her. She’s wrong. I want her. I even want the baby growing inside her.
Never thought I’d find the woman meant to be mine. Now that I’ve had Raven in my arms, chased away her nightmares, kissed her tears away, I know I can’t let her go. I’ll make her mine -- the baby too -- and I won’t let anyone stand in my way.

Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.
When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.
The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

Oh my! The heartbreak starts immediately, and I had to take several deep breaths to get through it. Raven... oh, this poor, sweet, young woman.... 😢 💔
Josh (Fox) Turner gets many surprises when Raven rushes into his life. I love how he seems to just get her and how she begins to come out of her shell. This book is undoubtedly dark with some very sadistic antagonists, but the devotion and love that blooms is worth the horrors. Oh, and the retribution satisfaction. Can't forget that.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is the lovely Umi Markkanen. She continues to deliver quality narration for these characters.
This was a great, yet hard story. Raven had to over come such a hard life to find her happily ever after. She is such a survivor and deserves the love of her old man, Fox and her father, Hatchet. As a side note, I also loved the Author Notes and Acknowledgements at the end of the book. The Author states why she wrote such a story. She writes she wanted to show there can be light on the other side. She definitely has...
Damn, this was another amazing book by Harley Wylde! I think I am a little in love with Fox. And a little in love with Hatchet too. Fox is such a sexy Silver Fox! And sweet too. I also loved Raven. And, yeah, Hatchet needs his damsel too. Soon! I'm a bit sad that the book ended. I would have liked to read more, especially some bonding time for Raven and Hatchet. They're so cute together.
It broke my heart all that Raven has went through in her short life. Once she is finally found safe and is rescued She finds some comfort with the Hayde Abyss and Fox. Fox was amazing and his protector instincts he feels for Raven left me feeling in awww!
Let me first say that this book is going to make you cry. I mean reading the prologue had me tearing up and I just wanted to hold Raven and let her know she isn’t alone. Her life sucked. From having a mother that treated her like trash and called her such to being homeless and then being abused in a facility. I don’t know how she held it together but she did. This is one strong girl. Cutting always scared me and reading about her pain you just feel the despair. When Raven gets rescued and taken the Hades Abyss you would have though Breaker was going to be the one she would be with. Nope, Fox the VP is the one that Raven chooses. And Fox is a man with a heart of gold. Yes, he is older but all the bikers are. And he gets angry when he hears what has happened to Raven but it is his protective nature that calls to her. I love that Fox takes things slow, he doesn’t push her. And it also gives Raven a chance to settle and trust. Those scum guards deserve what they get. And her father Hatchet, even though she never met him is all Alpha. No one touches Raven without consequences. I love that the MCs are growing and hope Hatchet does get a HEA. I’m sure Raven will work on it.
Trigger warning: rape, sexual and physical assault, abuse, violence
Reading this was like the old dark and gloomy book of Harley's earliest work. So much pain, so much hurt and trauma, but somehow it ended in solace. I had to admit that Harley had a way to make a sorrowful story. I was wondering why I kept on reading her material; I guessed I'm really into misery-sorrowful kinda romance. And this book really squeezes you dry on that matters.
A strong abuse survivalist and a badass biker; a caring and sweet in his own way kinda biker. A truly good man and protector. I liked how the story unravelled layers and layers of h's pain. And how somehow she also realized that she might be falling for the H's halo effect. Yet, it worked. The plot worked. Anywho, this was one good trigger book with way too many tears in it.
No virgin No condoms Instalove Angsty Dual PoV, 1st person No cheating, No OW/OM Trigger book, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 4 painful trigger romance stars
OMG love, love, love Fox!! I say it almost every time that Harley can't top my favorite but poor Havoc, Slash and Beast just got bumped down a notch. Damn, the love, adoration and patience Fox showed Raven was so amazing. 💜 Add in meeting her Dad, Hatchet and that poor girl finally had much needed love in her life plus two MC's at her back. I loved watching her build her confidence and show her strength even though she was scared. Not even going to lie - I teared up towards the end and I was a bit worried there for a minute but I trusted that Fox would make it to Raven in time. Can't wait to see Raven set up Hatchet! 😆
Wow, Fox got me all hot and bothered! He's swoon worthy, sexy, sweet but most of all he's a silver fox. He took the responsibility of Raven who was rescued from a bad situation, her story is gut wrenching 😢you'll feel like you're gonna break when you find out what happened to her. The way Fox loved Raven made me smile a lot, he shows her he will go to war for her, he made her realize, she may have been stuck in the darkness for a bit but with him by her side she will always shine cause she's a survivor, phenomenal job author Harley Wylde, this is truly an amazing read ⚜⚜⚜
351 pages. I unfortunately did not enjoy Fox that much. I loved the premise - broken girl rescued and finds instant connection with one of her rescuers - but the execution was lacking for me. I think it had to do with the transitions that occurred in the book. Like when Raven went from not talking to fully talking, I wanted to see more of a struggle! Overall, very underwhelmed with Raven and Fox.
Addition - it seems I don’t have a good track record with Hades Abyss books. Maybe I just don’t like this MC chapter lol
The writing of Ms. Wylde is amazing. Her characters are strong, even at their weakest moments. Fox is a strong man who is determined to help Raven put her shattered heart back together. The action in the story is not over the top, but makes all the MC men and women shine in a life many feel is to dark. I highly recommend Fox and Ravens story to the romantic at heart who needs a side of intrigue and erotic love. Delane Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More Full Review @ Coffee Time Romance & More
Fox was one of those books that was both easy and hard to read. I wondered how Raven could possibly go from a young woman dealt so tragic a hand in life, to a woman who could hold her own and triumph over the crap set of circumstances she endured. But she does!
From the moment they meet, she and Fox share a spark that’s far more than skin deep, although Fox sure doesn’t mind that she’s a curious sort ; ) A few surprises along the way to mix things up, including meeting a father she never knew, a mother she’d like to forget, and a baby she didn't realize she was carrying, and before I knew it, I had breezed my way through the whole book. Harley’s style of writing makes you forget you’re reading and instead puts you right next to the characters.
And, while I’m not a reader who likes violence, finding out what happens to the men who hurt Raven so bad… was most satisfying :D
This book was so good. So much steam and emotion. Raven's past is not for the faint of heart it will break your heart. Brought to the Hades Aybss compound she is immediately drawn to Fox. Fox takes Raven in because she feels safe with him. Fox turns out to be exactly what Raven needs she might be a bit broken but he doesn't treat her that way. Can Fox be the safety and home Raven desperately needs? It's definitely worth your time to grab this book and find out.
A wise man once said: The most difficult roads lead to the most beautiful destinations. Fox is the latest gem from Harley Wylde… you know the kind…dark and cloudy but you know they will polish up to a fine luster. Raven had a very traumatic teenage life filled with sexual abuse and misery- brought on by someone unexpected. She ends up in a mental hospital meant to help but falls prey once again to monsters intent on hurting her. Her father who is a biker from another club, whom she has never met, finds out she exists and what has happened. He sends for her rescue from the hospital via the Hades Abyss MC. That rescue delivers her to the arms of her savior- Fox. What he doesn’t know is that he needs to be saved too and the interaction between the two is top notch! The action is non-stop of course and the MC life is detailed just the way we like, but what stands out in this book is the amazing character development and storytelling! Fox is such a relatable character. His point of view is honest, loving, unselfish, and extremely well written. He wants to heal Raven and helps her become the confident woman he knows she can be with enough time and care. Despite his best efforts, the monsters rear their ugly heads once again. Fox is willing to risk it all up to save Raven! 5 star success! Triggers yes…. but such an amazing read!
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Fox is the seventh book in the ‘’hades abyss MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Raven has had a far from easy life. After a lot of horrific events, she doesn’t trust anyone. When Raven is rescued and brought to the hades abyss MC, she meets Fox. Fox feels protective of Raven the moment he meets her. When feelings grow between them will love blossom? When danger comes calling for Raven will Fox be able to keep her safe? The chemistry between Fox and Raven is clear to see and I liked them together. My heart hurt for Raven and all she had been through. I loved how patient and protective Fox was of her. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Wow! Where do I start with this story? It starts out intense and goes into overdrive from there. Brothers from the Hades Abyss MC come to take Raven away and catches one of the guards in the act with her. One she gets to their compound, and they report what happened Fox goes ballistic causing Raven to run to his side to stop him. Their connection starts from there and when he takes her to his home it gets even stronger. The guards who were fired are now after Raven, but the shocker is who was behind her going to Balmoral in the first place! Will the brothers rally around Raven to keep her safe and will she and Fox get there happily ever after? This story had my motions all over the place with the twists and turns that it takes. There are some serious triggers to this story, and it will be hard for some to read but it is well worth it!
I believe in giving a heads up for hard to handle subject matter and if there was ever a book that needed it, its this one. Raven has had a horribly rough life. Harley Wylde is able to give us enough detail to understand what has happened to her characters without us being drowned in details. It is a fine line to walk and Ms Wylde always handles these plots deftly. That said, Raven hasn't given up and I admire her enormously. She hasn't stopped believing in good people being out there and the universe rewards her with Fox. Fox is just about the sweetest biker hero Ms Wylde has created. I adore him and he never falters in his devotion to Raven. I devoured this one in one sitting, it was just beautiful to see them fall in love and start their life together. Ten stars for Raven and Fox!
Written in first-person POV (alternating). Past tense.
Well, this beginning is much like others I’ve read from this author, but it still drew me right in. As usual, full bada$$ men, many veterans, who will do anything for their women and each other. A fun, satisfying read that tackles some tough topics.
She’s wrongfully committed. Non-con of patients, by guards. Bikers everywhere. Age-gap romance. Fresh starts. She doesn't speak. Instalove. Abduction. Stalking. Found family. Betrayal. Vengeance
Overall: Another hit for me—4 stars.
🎧 Audio: Perfection. Absolutely love this narrator.
Raven had been held in a hospital and was being abused. Her Dad Hatchet was from a allied clubs of the Hayes Abyss. One of the Brother had gone to rescue Raven but once she got to the club she met Fox. She hadn’t spoken. She was nervous but she was drawn to Fox. Fox is the VP and he had never a want for a old lady til he met Raven. They had such an uphill battle to find their happy every but through every obstacle Raven faced Fox was there. I can’t wait to see what happens next and I absolutely loved this book. Harley Wylde is such an amazing writer. Highly recommend
She's done it AGAIN! I LOVE a great age gap read and Fox fits the bill perfectly. Ravens story just broke my heart. It was a bit difficult to imagine what she must have gone through. She's had such a rough way to go and came through on the other side FIERCE as he*l. Fox and Ravens journey is a truly beautiful story with tons of love and the devotion they have for each other is second to none. This is an absolutely incredible fast paced read. I couldn't put this book down once I started.
I love Harley’s books but it has kinda gotten to be the same story over and over. We already had books where the h was rescued from an asylum/care facility. I feel like now we’re to the point it’s mixing a bit from several books to make a new one. I hate to leave a negative review but I feel like I wasted my money to buy a book I’ve already read for the most part.
This was a great story! A bit longer so a nice change. Nice to get back to Hades Abyss Original Chapter too. Spider stepping down was not the gut punch it was in when it was mentioned in passing in a no her story. Raven was a wonderful girl and I always knew I would love Fox. Loved the part about suicide prevention as I found out an old friend did just that. Thanks Harley for the shout out to the sad girls.
I love how these stories overlap but are truly standalone. Raven may have been thrown away and abused but Fox saw her and wanted her...and then her father, Hatchet, wanted her to but understood she was a grown woman he had just found. This was beautiful lost and found story.
I love that Uma is versatile in her voice and she makes listening engaging and exciting.
I love Umi’s narration for these stories. Her voice makes the books come alive. Raven is abused & heartbreaking. Fox takes great care of Raven. He knew she is special from the start. Hatchet, Raven’s father had wanted to take her home with him after finding out about her. He also realizes that she wants to be with Fox and accepts that. I love the inter-connecting stories.
Sigh……As Harley Wylde seemed to rip our hearts out with what Raven went through (which was gut wrenching)… she definitely put back together with the sweet silver Fox! I love that he was patient with her and the way he loved her so sweetly definitely melted my heart! Their love was truly sweet, steamy, and definitely A happy ever after!!!💞💞💞
This book is only about sex. She was raped every night but was lusting after a man old enough to be her father the next day! Really?!? Instead of so much graphic sex, why didn’t the author flesh out H and h’s character more? Won’t be buying anymore books from this author.
Trigger alert. This book is a page turner and has a HEA. I couldn't put it down once I started it. Realistic and it haunts you for days to come. Very well written and thought out. Steamy scenes that will make you reach for the chocolate to take the edge off. Intense book for sure.
The steam level is insane! I loved watching Fox find his one and only, and watching Raven finding the light from the dark. remember not everyone reacts the same way to somethings and others. don't allow pre concieved notions keep you from reading this amazing book!
What a totally amazing book and series!! I just absolutely loved it from beginning to end and I can't wait for the next book to come out!! A definite must read!! Happy Reading!!!! :)
