One piece of mail brings his whole world crumbling down…

When Brock Bradshaw receives the wedding invitation for Summer Griffin, he feels the stabbing pain of regret and despair. He gave up the love of his life years ago for her own good, and now he's staring at the invitation sent with her name listed with marrying another man. The only thing he can think of is that this is her final goodbye to him. It's really over.

Could the one that got away be in danger and in need of his help?

He's surprised when Sebastian Griffin, the richest man in Griffin's Beach who comes from the familial line the city is named after, walks into the clubhouse asking why Brock hasn't stopped the wedding yet. This man has hated him since the day he met him. Surely, he's mistaken in his ask of Brock.

When Sebastian says his daughter is only marrying Dennis Walker, the son of Sebastian's biggest rival and newest business partner, is to save him. The last thing he wants is his daughter to be miserable, but she's too loyal to make any decision to put him in harm’s way.

Lying has never been her strong suit, and his love will drive him to keep her safe, even if it means he puts himself in danger and defy his club…

Brock seeks out Summer to see for himself, and he immediately knows something is off. Not only does Dennis hit her, he's intimidating her to get what he wants from her and her father. When she comes to the clubhouse, beaten and bruised, he knows he has to do something.

As he and Summer spend more and more time together, the wedding gets closer and closer. He can't seem to find a plan to help get her and her father away from the Walker men without getting one or both killed. After Psycho reaches out to a familiar person with the club to run his idea by her, there's finally hope.

Problems arise as Jennings Molloy, the President of the Deranged Drifters, fights back. He wants nothing to do with men who may get them and their gun dealer partner in the Feds' crosshairs, and he certainly doesn't want to be known as the bodyguards to hire out. Turmoil in the club starts to hit its breaking point when the faith in their fearless leader starts to dwindle. He has the potential to lose everything, starting with his wife, who walks out and calls a lawyer.

Brock finds out something about Summer that lifts the stakes even higher in keeping her safe. But when scary men who work with the Walkers find her, and kidnap her, his world starts to crumble. Can he stop the wedding of the woman he loves as her fiancé holds her at gunpoint? Will he find a way to keep not only Summer but Sebastian safe? Will he find his own happily ever after, or will he lose everything?

Logan Gray is a writer and authorpreneur who likes to create books like artists like to create art. Description is important, but she wants to allow the reader to make the story their own. While she wants to give the reader what he or she needs to see the picture she's trying to depict, she doesn't want to fill the pages with unnecessary description to restrict how the reader views the characters or places.

While this may not appeal to all readers, she hopes it appeals to others who like you add their own touch to the story. Maybe they would rather the walls be white instead of gray. Maybe they'd like to envision the person is tall instead of average height. While the description as she sees it is there, it's not written so strongly the own interpretation cannot be made and applied. It gives the reader some creative freedom in a hobby that isn't always as flexible.

Steadily getting worse that I can not rate this over two stars. I can see why people quit the series or skipped around. There are so many couple's story's happening that it's not fun and just gives you a headache. You can't feel any real emotion from anyone because there's a hundred different people speaking. We're constantly catching up with previous couples. And I have to say. there are too many women going around giving their opinion. I thought this was a MC club? This is the most beta group of men I've read about. They leave too much control up to the ol ladies I'm sorry to say. Why is the author giving Lex who's left a God complex? Damn she should just run the club. I dislike all the ol ladies except Lily at this point. Avery asking Autumn, a girlfriend of a brother to give her an egg and then be a surrogate as well was completely delusional of this author. Seriously?! Rocco being upset by that was completely understandable yet everyone was on his case about it? Think about it. It would be biologically Autumn and Tripp's baby yet Avery would raise him/her. The reason they asked was because they wanted a red headed baby. I'm sorry, but so many women just stepping over the line here when it comes to boundaries. I actually found it appalling. Tess getting on Jennings case was OTT ridiculous. I'm just going to say it. This MC has handed over their man card big time. The ol ladies are running the show here and I don't like it. I'm wondering if I should even continue because it's a mess 🤷

Continuing the MC Soap Opera

This series has plenty of flaws. It has some editing issues, and individual characters are not necessarily well developed. It is, however, a fast paced, plot-driven soap opera, where the lives of the MC men and their women flow from book to book. In this MC, men are strong, tough and often thick-headed and stupid. The women are stronger and smarter in general, and the misogyny of MC culture is openly addressed - which is refreshing. There are terrible enemies, and often it's the women who are attacked and put through hell. Sometimes the story lines have that implausible soap opera turn of events, but that's what makes this series a guilty pleasure for me. That, and the Hs - when they finally get their heads out of their ( derrières )- show the strength of their love for their ol' ladies ... but I'm hoping at least some of the ladies ( Lex ! Lily ! ) get a patch, because they have proven their worth time and time again.

I enjoyed reading the continuing series with other main characters involved in the main story. Brock still in love with Summer after eight years of being separated through a miss understanding. I loved that these two couples got their happy every after.

Awesome

This is now a favorite series for me. I truly like Logan's writing style. It comes with grit, humor, a lot of life lessons, and a wonderful group of characters. Life isn't always fair, and the characters don't always get what they want. It's so refreshing to read.

Good read

Wow what a great read. This is a second chance romance for one of the guys but it is not without trouble. There is also a major figure who leaves the club in turmoil.
