About the author

Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.

Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

Mating Fever

Tiger Trap
This was a fun short.
Doyle Frost is a white tiger shifter. He and his team is tasked with stealing back a portrait.
Tessa Banks was cheated when she stole the portrait so now she’s stealing it back.
I loved their initial meeting and how the mating fever takes over all senses, even escaping the house they are stealing from.
There are hot sexy scenes, a bit of fun, and a bit of drama.

Wolf Under Cover
Two agents under cover from separate agencies.

Rodney “Ramrod” Steele is his under cover name, but Jack Noble knows the woman that has just been sold to the gang he is investigating is his mate.

Trina Thorn has been thrown into an investigation as Lily White in an attempt to infiltrate a Biker Gang.

This is a fast paced story. Action all the way through, hot sexy scenes, and great interaction and dialogue between the two main characters.

Carnage
Carnage is a Hellhound and with only two weeks left of service he is sent on a mission to retrieve a target.
Leta is an orphan who only knows part of her powers and uses them to fight “monsters”.

The sparks fly when these two meet. The chemistry is palpable, and the dialogue fun and there are surprising revelations at the end.

Funny, steamy shifter romance…

Paranormal comes in all flavours and this author offers up three different shifter romance in one bundle. Each story had strong, lovable characters and unique circumstances with action and intensity vying with humour-tinged dialogue. In other words, so much fun!

Tiger Trap
Imagine finding the one you love in the middle of a job. One that wasn’t quite legal. Oops! I loved the way these two met and the instant rapport they found with each other…

Wolf Under Cover
Under cover could mean many things and this romance covered a lot of them! These characters could hold their own and together they were going to make the sparks fly…

Carnage
Who was protecting who? This story was the longest of the trio and my favourite for that alone. More time to savour characters who protected each other at every turn. Made me think of heaven and he**, and those who occupy both, in a whole different way…

Falling in love was never so complicated, or so much fun. I wanted these reads to be much, much longer…

Three Great Shifter Stories

Tiger Trap was a pedal-to-the-metal, heist story where Doyle and Tessa get overwhelmed by mating fever right in the midst of stealing a painting. The chemistry between these two was intense, and I loved this fast-paced story. Wolf Under Cover finds Trina dropped into Jack’s undercover op, where they have to save each other. I loved how strong Trina was - a perfect match for Jack. Carnage pits Leta against Alaric, which naturally results in the being fated mates and falling into bed. I loved how the dialogue in this story really crackled with energy. The three stories aren’t related in any way, other than they’re short paranormal romance novellas, but they sure are enjoyable to read as a set.

I enjoyed all three of these books. They were all super quick and fun reads. I enjoyed all the characters and the writing felt pretty light hearted. Even the bits of angst in each story didn't feel too bad (probably because of the length). It was kind of funny that two of the three H called their mate Sweet Cheeks, it highlighted how similar each of them were. But frankly I didn't care as the worlds they inhabited are all just a bit different. Having three different settings is great as I want to read more in the third world (hellhounds). I have previously read Susan Hayes' alien romances, and it is nice to find another world of her creating that interests me.

Ah, this writer never ceases to amaze me. You can tell by the way she writes she enjoys it. This book is actually 3 short ones bundled.

Oh yeah, character profile and world-building, she penned it wonderfully. I think the stories moved and flowed well one from the other not to say it wasn't busy. It was but it wasn't hard to follow. We have shifters, we have hellhounds oh my. I'm surprised we didn't see the fates themselves. *laughs*

We have our sexy males and smexy females that heat up the pages in their quest towards fated. Thieves after the same treasure, shifter, and hellhounds, always a bit of mystery afoot and some action to mix it all together. It was a lot of fun to read and had me laughing in a few different parts. If you've liked Ms Hayes, you just like her more. Enjoy

Three action filled short sexy tales of fated mates

These stories give us a sort of extended version “meet cute” for three couples that grab your heart and take you for a wild ride.

In Tiger Trap Doyle and Tessa are overwhelmed with lust and the promise of forever, but have to survive that day first.

Rod/Jack and Lily/Trina find themselves in a precarious situation undercover agents inexplicably drawn to each other.

Carnage and Leta expect to be enemies but find just the opposite, if they can get by the King of Lies, Lucifer himself.

This is an amazing collection of stories by Susan Hayes. I didn't want them to end and wished that they were longer. I loved each of the three stories in this collection. I hope that she goes back to write more stories in these worlds. I don't have a favorite because they were all great. They were all about shifters finding their mates. I love reading anything by this author.

What a great collection of shifter short stories! This trio of shorts had me glued to my kindle …they were just that good. My favorite was Tiger Trap. I loved the way Hayes kept you in suspense…would Tessa run or would she fight for her mate, Doyle. You will have to read it for yourself and find out!

This is a fab collection of stories that really had me flipping the pages to see how things would unfold ;) Action, humour, sizzling chemistry and hot romance abound in each book but they're also well rounded with great characters and fast paced, detailed, plots. I loved it! I had fun reading all three of them. They had that little bit of interesting in with the magic & spice that kept me turning pages to see what was going to happen next. I know there were some things that happened I certainly didn't expect! I read it & wondered where did I miss that clue? It definitely had me fooled! I know I will reread that one several times.

What a great collection of short stories by a fabulous author. All of the stories move quickly and are a perfect length to lose yourself for awhile. They aren't part of another series so each story is a stand alone. They are all PNR, Tigers and wolves and hell hounds, Oh My.
