I’m trying to read a few more nonfiction books and this was a fab place to start!
As I started to read this book, I felt the author had been following me about!! Everything she said rang true!! Recently I’ve been looking to get a better balance and make space for what really matters and this book turned up!
I highlighted so much in this book, and will definitely re read many bits of it. Some bits that really stuck with me :
⭐️The key, then, is getting clarity beyond the complexity ⭐️Clarity isn’t about abandoning everything; it is about creating boundaries and committing to the things we care about more wholeheartedly and joyfully. ⭐️ Living a significant life means living something beyond ourselves. ⭐️ Ask yourself what you want less of and what you want more of. Start somewhere. And keep going
This was a good book, some challenging chapters and encouraging ones. It did make me think, I found the tables at the end of the chapter helpful. I think I'd prefer a book on each chapter, it was very much a dip into each area. I'd love to hear more of Cathy's story.
