What a great overview for those, especially youth, wanting to know more about patriarchal blessings. It addresses common questions some have about their own patriarchal blessings, and some reasons for our declared lineage. This will be a helpful resource for me when preparing my younger kids receive their own blessings and when my older ones have questions about theirs.

Helpful review of importance of patriarchal blessings. Section on lineage was insightful. I've often heard folks say that you can understand the tribes' responsibilities from Genesis 49, I think. And I've thought that it wasn't very helpful. Bro Wilcox points out how all tribes share the same mission right now in preparing for the Second Coming and that the individual missions of the tribes of Israel will have more clarity and definition during the Millennium.

This is a very short booklet that would be helpful for those preparing to receive their patriarchal blessing. It shares the basics of how to prepare, why a lineage declaration matters and how to apply your personal blessing. Our blessings will help us "discern, discover and do what God desires." I loved the idea shared of looking up the scripture foundation for the phrases, concepts and counsel given in our blessings.

Brad Wilcox has a way of wording things and coming up with analogies to make things make more sense. He also manages to approach delicate topics with mastery. This was a great read, not only for those who are looking into getting their PB but also those who already have one and/or have kids about to get one. A very short and enlightening read.

I think this would be a great resource for anyone preparing to receive a patriarchal blessing or for those looking to better use their own blessing. It sort of feels like an FAQ pamphlet. There are definitely deeper discussions on this topic out there. One I’ve read recently is Making Sense of Your Patriarchal Blessing by Keith Erekson.

After reading this book, I immediately bought copies of this booklet for my two oldest kids. It was that good and I think it will be a help to them throughout their lives. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to look at their blessing with fresh eyes.

Short booklet perfect for those who wonder if it is the right time to get their blessing. I have a son who I want to read this! My husband and I both have different views about when a good time to get your blessing is but ultimately our son needs to follow the spirit.

Very similar to the book of the same name by Ed Pinegar. This one had quite a lot of real life examples. Very good things discussed in this book and it is fairly short so you can either power through it or take your time and read it along side of your partriarchal blessing.
