Though she instantly hated the stranger, she couldn't help noting how handsome he was. Golden hair, bright hazel eyes, the facial structure of a Greek god. He wore fine, expensive clothes that marked him as a member of the nobility. He seemed familiar. Had she seen him at a ball last season?
Her face lost all remaining color as she realized his identity. He was Marcus Elham, the Duke of Charlotteshire. Unlike her father, he was extremely wealthy — and extremely powerful.
"Can you speak, fair maiden, or are you mute?" he asked.
She wished she could throw a stone at his head. "I can speak."
He smiled. "So fair maiden who can speak, do you or do you not want your clothes back?"
She clenched her teeth. "I do want my clothes back, so if you could hand them to me, I would be much obliged."
Ignoring her, he mused, "A habit. So you're from the convent…"
"Excellent deduction," she muttered.
"Was that a sarcastic remark? I thought that nuns weren't allowed to be sarcastic."
She wanted to snort. Some of the nuns at St. Camilla's Convent were definitely sarcastic, especially Sister Grace, who loved to give Persephone a hard time for her "extraordinarily poor arithmetic skills."
"May I have my clothes back?" she asked, near the edge of desperation.
"That depends…"
Frustration brewed in her. "Depends on what?"
He lowered his head, grabbing her chin. "If you're willing to give me a kiss."
Before she could push him away or slap him, he put his mouth on hers. She caught her breath. She had kissed a few boys before, but the kisses had always been chaste; they might as well have been pecks from her grandmother. This kiss from the duke, however, was anything but chaste. He thrust his tongue between her lips, threatening to completely consume her. And for some reason, she liked — no, loved — it.

Persephone was unsuccessful at finding a husband during her seasons mostly because she had little to no dowry. Her father spent most of his money gambling and drinking. Her father decided to send her to a convent to get her off his hands. Persephone made a close friend at the convent named Mary who is very adventurous for a nun. Mary drags Persephone out skinny dipping and then leaves her so she could meet up with her boyfriend. While Persephone is swimming along comes Marcus Elham, the Duke of Charlotteshire. He enjoys flirting with Persphone but is surprised when she shows little interest in fooling around with him. The next day Persephone is sent to the bakery to pick up the convent's order. While she is there, she meets Thomas Ellison who also seems interested in her. Persephone has the strongest feelings towards her friend Mary but when Mary doesn't return her feelings, Persephone runs away. She is picked up by Marcus and Thomas who want to show her how much they care.

This story is sort of an historical short atory but with a more erotic angel. Persephone is sendt ti a convent after she fails to land a marriage due to her father not having much of a dowery for her. One night she and a friend at the convent goes to take a swim in the river, and there Marcus sees her. There is an instant attraction between them, but Persephone runs away. The next day at the marked she meets Thomas. Both these men are rich and Marcus even has a title. As this is a short story I do not want to give anything more away, but it is a cute story.

A chance encounter during an evening swim might just signal some changes for our heroine.

This is a short erotic romance with a taboo theme as well as multiple partners. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but effective cast. The story moves along at a good pace with plenty of steam along the way. The plot is not complicated and might be a bit over the top, but it is fun nonetheless and leads to a nice tidy conclusion. Overall, it made for a pleasant evening read.

Bad Habits is another quick and very steamy story by Isla Chiu. Its a perfect afternoon distraction that is sure to satisfy. When Persephone doesn't find a husband her father sends her to a convent in order to be rid of her. While at the convent she attracts the interest of not one but two men, Marcus and Thomas. Definitely recommend this delicious tale!

I thought that this was a really good book. I really liked Persephone, Thomas and Marcus together. The connection and the chemistry between these three was awesome. I enjoyed the historical aspects and how accepting Persephone, Thomas and Marcus were of each other and their histories and preferences. I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Isla as a great author.

When I read the blurb of this story I was instantly pulled in. Taboo subject of a Nun to be being interested by two men. Two men who are best friends but don't know they are interested in the same woman. I do love Isla's insta love writing with alpha males showing their love interest their true intentions for her. This is a non accurate historical romance. I would recommend if you love forbidden, MMF romance and of course insta-love romance. This is the one for you.

This is a short story that's set in historical England and finds our nun in training Persephone running into the arms of a Duke and then into the arms of his friend Thomas as well. The relationship between the three of them is pretty steamy and I really enjoyed it. I kept waiting for Mary to join in as well but alas that wasn't in the cards.

This is a quick read that is fast pace with so much happening in a very short period of time. Persephone meets two men, Marcus Elham the Duke of Charlotteshire and Thomas Ellison, a wealthy tycoon, who decide to share her even after marriage. I found the story to be enjoyable even though it is a fast read.

A novella set in an Edwardian era with a MMF taboo theme. Persephone is anything but a nun. She's inexperienced sexually but emotionally connected to her best friend and mistakes it for more. She happens upon both the Duke Marcus and best friend Thomas separately. For the men it''s as if were love at first sight and they pursue her relentlessly. The men come to terms of agreeing to share Persephone rather than losing her to the other man entirely. Once the throuple get frisky it gets steamy hot. There are not boundaries of who is having sex with whom. It's taboo in nature due to the time period. The characters are quirky and fun to read, with lots of heat between all.

Persephone was sent to the Covent by her father who only saw her as useless. Persephone is shy and is not comfortable around men, but when her paths cross The Duke, Marcus, and a wealthy man, Thomas, her out look on things change.

Bad Habits is a hot and steamy fast read of finding yourself, love and the passion you want in life. Persephone might have kept to herself but under the hand and guidance of her men, she finds she has more to offer than her father thought.

This was a lovely bit of insta-love with no basis for reality if you are looking for historical accuracy. There is plenty of heat and please be aware if not alerted by the description, there is MM action. All around a good story.

Isla Chiu has brought us another short, steamy, erotic romance. It's delightful, a little taboo, and hot with multiple love interests. (Yes, in case you overlooked the title, there is MM action.) The story moves quickly, and it's very much insta-love with no angst. I really enjoyed the read.

A very well written book i enjoyed it. I liked the characters and the naughtiness and slight taboo. I fo feel the sexy scenes could have been better more drawn out and more heat too make it more erotic especially the scene with Persephone losing her v it was too quick i felt more energy was pointed too the guys.

The great plot was beautifully written, and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
