I only read the first book of the set. I honestly didn't like the book there were parts of it that were funny and interesting but it didn't keep me interested enough to finish the other 3.

Cupcakes times 4
Easy reading and I'm sure I'll be buying the next books in this series. Loved the recipes and her mom

I read 1of her books before, which happens to be part of this combination. The other 3 books did not disappoint me. All are funny, entertaining, and easy-to-read.

I was pleasantly surprised by this culinary cozy collection. It includes the first 4 books in the series, although the second one is a novella, thus quite a bit shorter. The basic plots are all the same, but the characterizations are so well done that you just want to read more. If I can find a boxed set of the next several in the series, I will probably buy it, too.
Annie is a baker living in Los Angeles who is empathic ever since a toboggan accident; she also finds that she can see dead people if they seek her out. In these four stories, they are all people who have recently been murdered, usually while Annie was in the vicinity so she frequently becomes a suspect. The dead want her to find their murderers so they can 'cross over', and she complies. The murderee in the first book is a royal pain who broke up her marriage and destroyed her cupcake business because of her involvement; he is the only one who doesn't seem to be able to leave. He keeps showing up and pestering her in the other stories, too. These are light reading, and a lot of fun. Annie's two loyal sidekick friends are a real hoot, as is her mother back in Wisconsin who specializes in guilt trips and malapropisms. Her cat Teddy is also a character - it looks as if Teddy will become more important in future books. Recipes for food/drinks mentioned in each story are included, if you like that sort of thing - some of them sounded really good, some sounded like way too much work! I very much enjoyed the collection.

The Annie Graceland Cozy Mystery Box Set: Books 1 - 4
Delightful cozy mysteries with a slight paranormal twist. Annie Graceland is a delightful 38 year-old lady who is in the middle of a messy divorce. Annie is empathetic (she can feel other people's thoughts and feelings). Now she can see and talk to ghosts.

Lightweight but nice
This is actually not four full books but sort of a grouping of a few novels, a novella, a teaser for a new book and a short story. But they were enjoyable and fun.

Lots of humor
I really like these cooking mysteries. The extra in these stories is the recipes. They all sound really good. Annie is a delight. Her two best friends are a good addition to the plots.

Eh, it was alright. A quick, easy, summertime read. Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. I didn't really connect with the characters or understand the background of the "empathic" qualities of the main character. (I only read book 1).

Not worth reading.
The first couple of pages were fine but as it went on I lost interest. Some language, some drugs, infidelity. Each chapter I read was like walking through sludge until I had to quit reading it. Nothing was keeping my interest and I could not finish the book.

Fun Read
Not quite Janet Evanovich or Jana Deleon, but diverting and entertaining paranormal murder mysteries.
I am unfamiliar with the protagonist’s relationship dilemmas so did not connect with the stories but the mystery aspect was always confounding.

Cupcakes with a twist
Annie gets better with each book you read and so do her recipes. Both are worth a try. Investigate Graceland Cozy Mysteries for a relaxing time at the beach where Annie resides.

Cute and funny
Annie Graceland is a baker who is also empathic. Murder seems to follow her and then she is left with the victim's ghost to help solve the mystery. Lots of fun to read!

Good read
It was a hard start I wasn't sure I was going to like it but if you can hang in through the first chapter or two it gets better and each book a little better than the one before!

Quick reads
The books were quick reads, more like novellas. The situations are funny and cute, and Annie is surrounded by good people. It would be great if the author had a proofreader. Too many errors.

Fun
I enjoyed these. They’re sweet and fun with a nice humor throughout. I may buy 5 and up just to see where the author goes with this.

a little on the slow side
I have read better. The stories were predictable and slow. A one time read. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Enjoyed reading all 4 of the books. Twists and turns kept me reading till the end.

This is a box set with four stories. I didn't like the first one very much - just seemed so negative and the attempts at being funny weren't. Decided to give it a chance and read the other three. The stories got better as they went along. Liked the third one the best. It was funnier and the story was better.
If you decided to read this - hang in there. You kind of need to read the first one just to get the background for the rest.

I did not love this book. I appreciated the attempts at quirkiness, but fell flat.
