Paradise Valley Pioneers

74 books322 followersI never thought I'd be a writer, much less publish a book some day. I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I guess life just had other plans for me. When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school. To this day, she is my hero.
I live with my husband and two teenage sons in southern California. I have a Welsh pony and a miniature horse (down-sized from a barn of six horses). A crazy Labrador retriever who is a food vacuum, three cats, two parakeets, four bearded dragons (my compromise with my sons when they wanted a snake), and a small flock of chickens complete our menagerie of critters. I can’t imagine my life without my animals. My dream is to live in Montana some day.
Four years ago, I began writing a story that, for whatever reason, was stuck in my head for almost a year. I have been an avid romance reader for a long time, and the idea took hold to - why not? - write my own! What a simple idea, right?
It has been a long and difficult journey from my first sentence to a completed, and hopefully polished, manuscript. Today, I have a completed series of 5 books and a novella in what I called The Yellowstone Romance Series, two books in my new Second Chances Time Travel Romance Series, and I am currently working on the final book in a trilogy set in the Grand Tetons.

In her typical fashion, Peggy Henderson has brought three beautiful stories of the three daughters of Chase Russell. They are also the granddaughters of Aimee and Daniel who we have met in previous stories. The stories take place in the 1800's in Paradise Valley near what is now Yellowstone, an area that Peggy Henderson is very familiar with. As the characters strive and meet the hardships of day to day living during this time of settling the west, you will feel their zeal as they settle the area and endure the hardships. Of course no story that took place during this time period is without some "bad guys" which did not turn out too well for the bad guys. Will each one of the three sisters discover their HEA and establish a home of their own. Be sure to read this outstanding story to find out. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

This was a thrilling day! Imagine opening one of Ms. Henderson’s new books and finding not one but three stories all intertwined in a great adventure. Families traveling west from middle-America not to look for gold but to find rich grasses in undeveloped land for raising cattle. Nick and Aidan had dreamed of cattle ranching and sought the advise of a cousin in Virginia City about land. Of course, if anyone has read any of this author’s books, most probably it is somewhere around Yellowstone. I loved “seeing” Grandma and Grandpa Osborne and having Chase with all the members of his extended family meet up in Paradise Valley. Homes will be built, more families will emerge and another generation will begin. I loved this book!

Nobody writes historical romance like Peggy L. Henderson. This is another page turner that takes place in the 1800’s of the Montana area located near what today is known as Yellowstone Natl Park. You will fall in love with the characters & mostly Peggy’s storytelling of a magical area. Paradise Valley & it’s settling of the area, offers excitement of the best kind. Again, nobody writes adventurous romance of this area like Peggy!!! Peggy has a special gift as a writer that enables the reader to actually feel themselves as being there in person. Another top rated story that only can be called a true “page turner”❣️

What a wonderful surprise to have three stories in one book, set near what becomes Yellowstone National Park! I have listened to every audible book of this amazing authors and they have all held me spellbound!
Feeling as if you stepped back in time, the scenes come alive with the characters and their surroundings as Peggy weaves her magic as a master storyteller.
If you have read previous series, you will recognize previous characters, and this follows three daughters of Chase Russell. Each sister as their own special story and I could only smile as I turned the last page! I hope this author makes this one into an audible. Absolutely loved every page!

A sweet story from a sweet author
In typical Peggy fashion, you are in suspense, even if you're pretty sure you know the gist of the outcome. She makes the journey eventful and exciting, filled with enough detail that you can truly picture the scene, but only sketched so your own mind fills in the details. Her writing is incredible in that I can immerse myself and feel like I'm watching a movie. I love the interweaving of previous characters that we've come to know and love, yet the mains of this story easily stand on their own. Thanks Peggy, can hardly wait for your next book!

Never a dull moment
Peggy L. Henderson knocks it out of the park yet again. This novel has us back into the wilderness of the Yellowstone region but has us visiting Amiee and Daniel's granddaughters. It is always so nice to see what the next generations of Osbournes are doing and she has made this trio of sisters HEA exciting and nail biting! This is definitely a must read.

Family and friendships
I anticipate every book by Peggy. I have read them all. This one did not disappoint. It is always great to catch up with Aimee, Daniel, Sarah and Chase. Love it when they all interact and also when new spouses are introduced. It is like sharing a holiday with them.

Paradise
A reunion of sorts with the children from a previous series all grown and seeking their own ways. A delightful adventure in the Yellowstone area written with depth and leaving you wanting to visit with them. Well done Peggy L. Henderson.

Wonderful stories!
Loved this book! A great collection of stories about the Russell girls, Emily, Rebecca and Kara! Chase's family never disappoints! Great to see him and the Osbournes again! Wonderful read!

Paradise
I think I've read every book that Peggy Henderson has written . They never disappoint! This book had a number of stories going on. I love it when I get more than one good romance in a book. This one had three! Ill be waiting for her next book!

Interesting characters
I really enjoyed the characters in this book that is actually a series of three books in one. The young women are feisty and unusual.

Paradise Valley Pioneers
