No spoilers but I do mention aspects of the book, so if you want to go in totally blind don't read this, but if you want my vague opinions, read.

The art is charming, but not the best I've ever seen. The color pallet is really nice and so is the cover and spine.

The story isn't as coherent as I'd like it to be, but I did find the main problem interesting. I didn't understand how that light bulb thing worked. I liked Polo as a character, I wish we had gotten to see more of him. And during an action scene, there were speech bubbles where the character would say "kick!" or "punch!" which I thought was unnecessary, considering it's a comic and I can just look.

short and sweet! i love the aesthetics and limited color palette, it creates a distinct look that works well with the grit of the cityscape. the scope is pretty tight, but seeing how the characters interact with their surroundings makes this city feel like a living place, and i’d love to spend more time wandering the streets with these characters. the plot feels more like an excuse to have cool and fun fight scenes, but with action this fun and this stylish, i don’t mind! especially with its surprisingly dark conclusion and since Polo is such a delightful character. a fun little read!

A action-packed adventure, awesome pallet and illustrations, just a good time all around. Robots combating mayhem within the city of Saint Crater. Mystery, betrayal, action. Berzerkid is a good time.
