Beth Crawford, daughter of a former IPD officer, partnered with her father after his retirement to interview detectives for true crime stories they published, blending real cases with her passion for storytelling. Inspired by forensics and investigation, she began writing thriller novel Silent Storm in 1990. She had no idea her publishing journey would span over 35 years.
In 2001, with no funds for printing, she created her own book-binding process and self-published Silent Storm, followed by two more thrillers before taking a 15-year break.
When her children were grown, a friend encouraged her write again. She published In 6 Days in 2020, then re-released updated editions of her earlier novels: Silent Storm (2021), Silent Shadows (2022), and Silent Rage (2023).
Her latest thriller, Days of Rage (2024), continues the stories from In 6 Days and Silent Rage. More novels are on the way!
I really enjoyed this novel. The characters were immersive and well thought out. The story kept my attention throughout the novel. It had a good plot, that kept moving forward. I will definitely be reading more of Beth Crawford’s work!
Drake is my favorite character! I found myself really interested in the characters and wondering what was going to happen next. It def was a good read and I would read more by this writer.
