This book is an essential read in men's rights. These stories of normal Indian families and how very menial household issues are leading to divorce is an important aspect of modern-day relationships. The author has good storytelling abilities and used very simple Hindi to write the stories.

The author has addressed the family issues that not many people have dared to take up earlier. Men's rights always lacked this approach.

One area that the author needs to look into is to elaborate the stories and reduce the number of dialogues in her stories. Currently, each story is full of conversations which makes these a little blunt. Needs more literary inputs.

This book will make you realise the sorry state of men who are trapped in false cases with their families , the men who have lost hope and faith in justice system of this country where some women use laws as a weapon to harrass them for petty reasons in the cloak of feminism.
Harsh reality of IPC 498A , Section 375 and many more gender specific (actually baised) laws.
It just made me realise again that every false case registered is a nail on the coffin of a true one.

दहेज प्रताड़ना का उन्मूलन करने के लिए प्रशासन ने जो व्यवस्था बनाई, वो किस प्रकार से अनायास ही समाज में पारिवारिक एवं वैवाहिक विघटन को जन्म दे रही है? क्या व्यक्तिगत अहम या कटुता को तुष्ट करने का ये सही मार्ग है? क्या प्रेम, समन्वय एवं पारिवारिक सामंजस्य से विवाहों को चिरकाल तक नहीं संजोया जा सकता? क्या दोनों पक्ष के बड़े लोगों को अधिक परिपक्वता से सोचना और व्यवहार करना होगा?

ऐसे ही अनेक प्रश्नों को उजागर करती और अकारण ही विधान के दुरूपयोग के कारण शोषित हुए लोगों की कहानी कहती ये पुस्तक सभी परिवारों एवं दम्पत्तियों को अवश्य पढ़नी चाहिए। एक-दुसरे पर दोषारोपण करने या आलोचना करने के लिए नहीं, अपितु ये समझने के लिए कि जब एक विवाह टूटता है तो दो घर भी साथ टूट जाते हैं। कुछ ऐसी हानियाँ होती हैं जिनकी भरपाई नहीं की जा सकती।
