Cover to cover in the passenger seat on a road trip. Didn't put it down. Perhaps it's because we're almost the same age but holy shit do I relate to all of this. Wish there were an infinite number of Dan's stories to read or listen to. Reminds me of the way David Sedaris holds my attention. Keep it up Dan. Stoked to read the new book.

Just like reading a curated collection of Ozzi's substack, but in a zine(ish). As always, Ozzi's voice is both engaging and familiar. These essays, are personal not in the confessional way, but in the way that we have all felt something similar and didn't know if anyone else had. We all attached at least part of our identity at some point to a band, to a job, to city, sometimes to outgrow it, sometimes to help us grow, and sometimes to look back and cringe a bit.

Heartbreaking
We’ve all got stories in our lives and there’s music somewhere that is the soundtrack. Songs that we loved at some point and the memories that go with them. Read this and you’ll be doing the same thing. Looking back, thinking and wondering what could’ve been different.

What I wish I was writing if I wasn’t too busy being anxious.

Read it in (mostly) one reading, great all the way through and a good prelude into Sellout.

That Dan is an in credibly relatable guy, for better and worse.
