What Do an Elephant and a Telephone Pole Have in Common?

You have to read for the answer to the question.

If you have read anything from these two authors, Frankie Love & Alice May Ball, you know that over-the-top is just a jumping off point for them. The fact that they've teamed up had me both scared and excited. The results are no less than I'd expect! I laughed. I sighed. And I was sad to see it end. 😄🔥💙🎉

Lucy has had a thing for her bestie's brother for years. For Paul, the feelings are reciprocated far more than anyone has realized. A little liquid courage gives them the push they need to unleash their now unbridled lust.

I love how Paul constantly checks on her. It's a bit stalkerish but it works. The two of them are a joy to experience! 💜🎉💜

This was a nice change. Well, honestly, I'm not yet sure how to feel about it. Lucy was way more straightforward, bold, and kind of aggressive than Paul. I would even say she's more domineering in the beginning, and she goes hard for something that she wants. 

This would've probably been an awesome dynamic had she continued to be like this. But when the conflict happened, she became flaky and, for some reason, decided that she wasn't cut out to be part of Paul's world. It's ridiculous because she knows this part of him. Despite knowing the organized crime family, she even went to seduce him because she wanted him for a very long time. Then when something went wrong, and all of a sudden she couldn't deal with mobster stuff anymore. Talk about a freaking 180. 🥴

I only rated this a 3⭐ for Paul. Although his personality is quite tame for an Irish mob leader, I do appreciate how he's patient and dedicated to Lucy. He's thoughtful, protective, and loving of her. All I'm saying is that he's way too good for her, imo. I think he could do so much better; why he chose to be with her, I'll never understand.

Anyway, this was okay. It was a quick read, but heavy on mobster related topics. 🤷‍♀️ And of course, I enjoyed it even more because it's dual virgin. 😂

I thought that this was a really sweet book. Paul and Lucy were great together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. Lucy and Paul have been in love with each other years but never said anything because Paul is Lucy's best friend's older brother. I really enjoyed the drama, and internal struggle that these two both go through to get there HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next one. I would recommend this book and these two awesome authors.

Well, Lucy is pretty innocent. She’s a virgin. She knows Pauls’s family is I to organized crime though. She’s pretty bold for a virgin too.

His obsession with her is kind of sweet. He held back and just sort of stalked her in a nice way but when she offered herself up he didn’t hesitate to accept. He’s also a virgin. Don’t come across that too often. Usually the best we can hope for is that he’s not a manwh*re. I get it a grown man in the mob is unlikely to actually be a virgin but it’s sweet and I don’t care if it’s believable or not.

Novella length, fast burn, story 4/5, I really liked Paul and Lucy immensely. Heat level 2.5/5 -some of the specific wording in the spicy scenes was a bit off putting. Both virgins, no condoms, no cheating, no cliffhanger and a sweet, satisfying HEA.

A great read :)!

Lucy is a complex character. Quiet at the start then flirty when alone with Paul, then fearful and afraid. But what I liked most is when he proposed.

There is one thing I can say about Paul, he loves her from afar before but is now ready to love her fully.

This book was fantastic... had me enthralled from beginning to end... the suspense, action, love, passion, silly cute acqwardness this story had it all and I cant wait until I read more.
Paul has this sweet protective side to him that makes a lady swoon
over him. He has been secretly in love with Lucy for years but he doesn't believe he is good enough for her. Worried his kind of lifestyle will turn her away.
Lucy is a shy woman who knows what she wants just has to get the nerve
to go do it. She has had a secret crush on paul for years but has been scared to make a move.

Innocent Obsession is the second book in The Dirty Kings of Vegas series and is the story of Paul O'Malley and Lucy. Paul is the youngest of the O'Malley brothers and has been the family's enforcer. He may not talk a lot of like to draw attention to himself but he is big, strong and notorious for his fierceness. But he has taken on a new role in the family as the new boss of the newly purchased King Pine Casino in the old downtown area of Las Vegas. The family has been renovating and expanding the casino which they will rename as Kingpin Casino and Downtown Resort, which they expect to spark the downtown's expansion and bring in high-rollers, whales and conventions. Lucy is best friends with JoJo, who is one of the O'Malley sisters. She has been in love with Paul ever since she met him when he drove to pick up JoJo at college, as the girls were roommates. Paul was instantly attracted to Lucy when he met her and began to watch over her without her knowing about it. Actually he became her secret admirer, sending her cards on holidays, flowers once a week, paying for things without her knowing about it and also ensuring no man treats her badly or creeps on her. Both Lucy and Paul think that each other could never be interested in them but they are both very wrong. So when the opportunity finally presents itself these two are going to kick the door open and take it right off it's hinges. But when there is danger in town from the rival Moretti family it is Lucy who is targeted and Paul will stop at nothing to rescue her and then keep her safe, including putting himself in the hospital. Lucy may blame herself but no one else in the family does, and that includes Paul. He only loves her and wants to keep her safe, never letting her be away from him again.

This is a fast-paced, action packed, OTT, simmering romance that explodes more then once into a white hot smexy bundle of passion. I liked both characters and the supporting characters are also nicely written and add to the story. This is a wonderful addition to the series and I am looking forward to reading John's story next to see just who his father is arranging for the oldest son to marry.

In this book we meet Lucy & Paul O'Malley. Lucy has been Paul's sister JoJo's best friend for as long as any of them can remember. Which makes her family in their eyes. The thing is Paul wants Lucy as more than an honorary sister, he wants her as his woman. He is sure she will never look at him that way though and he can only dream. Lucy is no skinny mini by any means and she is sure that is Paul's type. When she sees him though all she sees is the man she wants no her best friends brother. Can these two get past their insecurities to find that HEA or are they both doomed to a life of wanting from afar?

This is an amazing short story. These characters really draw you in and won't let go. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Now as the new boss for the Casino he's switching bloody clothes for suits, can he finally have a chance with Lucy the woman who became his obsession? Lucy always felt drawn to Paul, even when she felt she shouldn't, but hes not the only one she has crushed on, or is it? But can he keep her safe going in to his world?  Well written book 2 in the series though works well standalone. A sweet, mafia romance  with double V-cards, filled with action, desires, steamy hot scenes and more!

Dear dear Ms. Love you have yet added another book that is great. This couple is something else. I love that they are both still pure in the bedroom. You do not find this often especially in a Mafia story when he is the baddest of the bad. She is the friend of his younger sister and totally off-limits. Not to mention his lifestyle he doesn't think she will deal with. But each has held a candle for the other for years now. Just neither has made a move till he changes his position in the family business. Now he's a businessman, not a killer (all the time). Will this change how he sees she will fit in his life. This is a fast paced romance with a bit of action and a little bit of dark side mixed into it. Lucy and Paul have been crushing on each other and have been for quite awhile. Paul has played the long game and been her secret admirer, keeping her safe and sending her flowers. He’s also helped keep her safe as himself. This has tied poor Lucy up in knots thinking she’s into two different men when they’re really the same man! Finally, Paul’s sister JoJo, Lucy’s BFF, takes matters into her own hands to get them together. Thank goodness for sisters! Lucy’s big question is does she have what it takes to be Paul’s woman? Well, you’ll need to read to find out. This is a quick and easy read if you’re looking for something short, that also has more books to follow.

The Dirty Kings of Vegas is a great series by 2 of my favorite authors Frankie Love and Alice May Ball. The O'Malley family have their fingers and fists in a lot of legal and illegal businesses in Las Vegas. Paul O’Malley has been totally obsessed with his sister's best friend Lucy forever. She has had a thing for him too, but she has a secret admirer. He has been her secret admirer, sending flowers, protecting her from afar, until one night, that's not enough. The book is fast paced, steamy, has plenty of action, and twists. These two are perfect for each other, something the O'Malley patriarch sees right away. And the best part is you can read both book 1 and 2 for FREE with KU. Great Read

This is book number 2 of The Dirty Kings of Vegas series and focuses on Paul and Lucy. Paul and Lucy have been in love with each other for years but never said anything about it to each other. Paul is a part of the O’Malley mob and Lucy has been best friends with Paul's sister for years. I loved how they finally gave into what they had been fighting for years and gave their love a chance after a scary event after their first night together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series. I can't wait to read book number 3!

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although there were times I wanted to smack Lucy or Paul upside the head. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Jojo was a wonderful friend to Lucy and a great sister to Paul. The O'Malley's seemed like a family that was there for each other but that was also fun. Paul was protective but sweet. Lucy was sweet but a little bit sassy too. Together they were cute. I loved how protective Lucy was of Paul too. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

This one felt different than the first book. Paul has been interested in Lucy for a long time but never felt like they had a chance. Lucy has also been obsessed with Paul and decides that enough is enough and she is going to make her move. With this being a mafia type family, there is definitely some suspense and drama that pops up in addition to the heat and chemistry these two have. Very excited for the next book in this series.

Frankie Love and Alice May Ball have written another awesome story in The Dirty Kings of Vegas series. In book 2 we get Paul and Lucy's book. We first met them in book 1, Sweet Stalker. Paul is obsessed with Lucy, his sister's best friend but he doesn't think she could want someone like him. Paul has no idea that his obsession is definitely not one-sided. Lucy has lusted after Paul for years but is she strong enough to live in his world? When Lucy is threatened, Paul is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her. Looking forward to book 3!

Innocent Obsession is fast paced, fun with a little dark mixed in. In my opinion both Lucy and Paul are suited for each other. Lucy is quiet and has her insecurities. Paul has done things in his past that he is not proud of, but he is doing his best to live up to his father's expectations. Both Lucy and Paul don't think they deserve each other. I loved Paul's protective side. I also liked how the O' Malley's have each others backs and included Lucy. There is steam, a little suspense and a little dark. I read on Kindle Unlimited.

Frankie has done it again and given us a story that keeps your attention from start to end , loved Paul and Lucy as the main characters , and there is just the right mixture of drama , action , danger , steam and to top it off and i suppose a little twist in the story is that it's a double v card romance , readers are going to love this second book in this series from Frankie , i know i did , loved it

Lucy has had the hots for Paul O'Malley for years but little does she know he has been her secret admirer for years also.
This was sweet but dramatic and intense a story as ever. What happens makes for a very tense read but has the feel good ending a good romance should have. Plenty of steam to sweeten the book also.

Fantastic short read!!! 💖

This is book 2 of this mafia series from 2 of my favorite quick read authors and I’m LOVING this series!!! Paul and Lucy are the stars of this book. They’ve each wanted each other for so long but neither acted on it until now and my oh my…they have explosive chemistry! Love their story and HEA. There is some drama (it’s a mafia book) but no relationship drama. Cannot wait for the next one!!!

This was a cute and steamy sister’s best friend romance. I loved how sweet a story can occur in a mafia environment. Paul has loved Lucy from a far for years and always kept her safe and sent her cards and flowers. Lucy has two crushes Paul and her mystery man. Will she ever realize that they’re one and the same. I loved this story.

This is a sweet dark romance Paul and Lucy have great chemistry together . Paul wanted Lucy for a while and now that he is the new boss of a Casino he feels he have a chance to be with Lucy not knowing that Lucy already have the hots for Paul .
