Who's Between The Sheets : Married To A Cheater

Hazel and Jamal have been together for six years and are just now getting married. Just after the wedding Hazel soon starts regretting saying the words I Do. Hazel eventually begins to realize that Jamal isn’t the perfect husband that she thought she married.
Jamal has never really been faithful to Hazel but marries her anyway. He has been cheating on her for over two years. He loves Hazel but Hazel doesn’t know how to sexually satisfy him, which puts Jamal in a complicated situation.
Xavier has been with Jet for four years and they have one daughter together. Jet wants her freedom to drink and party all night without hearing Xavier breathing down her neck. Xavier wants Jet to be responsible and stay out the clubs, but she isn’t hearing any of that. Jet soon starts sleeping with someone else and when Xavier finds out Jets secret all hell breaks loose, he dismisses her and decides to raise their daughter on his own.

Hazel finally realized the truth. I was mad after she made that bad decision, but I applaud her for making an effort. Nikki should've been stomped for the blatant disrespect she showed.

Now this was a fabulous quick read! Jamal was the worse. Hazel was a good one to put up with him. Jet was out of control too. She didn't realize how good she had it til it was too late. Great characters & easy to follow storyline helped make my first read by Shanice B. a sure winner!

Who's Between the Sheets by Shanice B. is definitely one urban romance that readers don't want to miss. Shanice B.'s talent continues to shine on with every novel that she writes. I can't believe how realistic her characters are. The emotional journey is powerful and believable. It's easy to lose oneself within each character's shoes. Understanding and sympathy can be felt for some female and one male character. Marriage life is full of its ups and downs...especially for characters like Hazel. Her husband has been cheating on her for two years with a stripper. The stripper is pregnant and then ends up losing the baby. But that doesn't stop the stripper from destroying what's left of Hazel's marriage. The marriage is barely hanging on by a thread and only hanging on due to her recent discovery of being pregnant with her cheating husband's baby. As soon as the stripper comes by with her plan to destroy...Hazel gives up and her husband, Jamal, finds that marriage is just not what he wants anymore. His brother is fed up with the way he treated his wife Hazel but knows that he can't his brother. Then there's Jamal's brother is having relationship issues with his girl. Finds out that she's been sleeping with another woman. On top of all that, she's been an irresponsible mother. But after his woman's lover secret comes out...Jamal's woman comes back to him. Working on being a better mother and girlfriend to Jamal...but only time will tell if everything will work out for Jamal and his woman. Drama is tenfold in this exciting tale. I was surprised by all the crazy stuff going on that Shanice B. was able to keep things going straight...it was easy and fast to read. I felt like I was watching everything happen as it happened. Incredible...steamy, and contains a lot of adult content...but definitely a must read. Who's Between the Sheets will keep readers guessing...

Conflicted!
This book had me so conflicted because one minuted I was rooting for Jamal and hoping him and Hazel would have their happy ending. The next minute I was hoping she would find somebody else that would show him what he could potentially miss out on. There were some twists and turns as well that had me on edge. Nonetheless, I am definitely awaiting part two to see how this plays out and who's really between the sheets?!

Pleasantly surprised
I was surprised by this book I honestly didn't think I would like it but in actuality I freaking LOVED IT!!! Boy when I tell you I was fighting sleep trying to read this book... There was so much drama and Jamal & Nikki boy boy boy.. Hazel all I could do was smh at her gullible ass

I loved it! I hope there is a 2nd part because I would love to know what happened next. How are Hazel and Jamal going to raise their baby? Will it be in the same household or separate households? Will Jamal leave Nikki alone or continue to see her?

Jamal just couldn’t make a decision but there are a lot of people like that in life. Hazel was perfect either and she should have listened to her sister. Everyone sleeping with everyone. What’s up with Tracy, she seems like she is going to be a problem

I don't know.
This story is crazy on all level. Jamal is scum, Nikki a tramp, Lisa, Tracy and Jet confused. The only people with a little sense is Hazel and Xavier; and they were stupid when it came to relationships. I can't say that I enjoyed this.

just messy
I chose this book based off of the reviews, but all of these characters have no self value. I almost returned it due to the excessive use of the N word, but I wanted to see where it ended up.
I don’t feel sorry for Hazel, she is dumb as hell. Her sister tells her that Jamal is cheating on her two days before her wedding and I can understand her being in denial, but investigate the story. What damn fool stays with a man who leaves them on their wedding night to go see another woman. I don’t care if your mother called you, you have no business answering the damn phone on your wedding night as you are about to consummate your marriage. The part that really set it off was when she finds out, she gets mad at Xavier, Jamal’s cousin for not telling her, but her own damn sister told her and she didn’t believe her. Then she had the nerve to tell Xavier I guess blood is thicker than water. What?!? Obviously not since you didn’t believe your own damn sister. All the things that happened to Hazel she allowed. She beat up Nikki for sleeping with her man, but did not lay one hand on Jamal. Girl bye. These people are lame. It’s filled with drama to keep you entertained, but they all been hit in the head way too many times to have any common sense.

Is when Amazon says I borrowed this book. Side story: I got to meet an author of another book and he pressed upon me how important it was to leave comments. It helps the author, it helps other readers find it and makes sure that Amazon promotes it. Well, I got it in my head that I wouldn't return a book until I reviewed it which would prevent me from borrowing another. Unfortunately, procrastinators gone procrastinate and here we are, smh.
I couldn't very well leave a review on a book I read two years ago so it gave me the pleasure of reading it again. I forgot how good it was. This isn't my usual pick. I don't like a lot of drama in my reads because I don't like any irl, but when I tell you there was not a bit wasted or over the top. I know plenty of men and a few women like Jamal who try to force monogamy upon themselves and end up ruining lives, their own included. I hope Hazel has wised up. I wanted different for Xavier but we'll see what happens in the follow up.
Speaking of which, where is it? I'm sure that's another reason I left it in my library - to make it easier to find the sequel.

An unexpected surprise!!! I truly enjoyed reading this book, so realistic. The author does a great job, well written with some interesting twist and turns. You will feel as if you know the characters each and everyone.It was nice reading about people who actually had jobs and did something besides selling drugs.

In Love With The Wrong Person
The book has a good plot but it was a lot of grammatical errors. Tray and Tracy were my favorite characters. They always said what exactly was on their mind and didn’t hide anything. Xavier was ready to old for Jessica. I assume they were the same age but now I see why she was acting out. Lisa is a true ride or die sister.

Unbelievable!
Cheating is an understatement. I'm hoping if a person reading this is a side chick they will see what life can offer. So many disrespectful woman and entanglements I was baffled.
Good job with the author because I was so disgusted with the characters and I consider it a good book when I wish I could interact with them 🥴
