Can she forgive the sins of the past?

When a casual jog turns into a missing persons discovery, Reverend Margot iQuade s thrown off her game. Turns out, the wounded woman she found begging her for help is her high school best friend Olivia Van Ness, a woman presumed dead for over fifteen years.

The disappearance of Olivia and her twin sister Penelope has always haunted Margot, and now she refuses to sit idly by as Sam searches for answers. Margot is definitely on the case, even as Olivia is hesitant to give over information about her captivity and what really happened to her sister.

Sleuthing leads Margot to a ready made suspect, Penelope’s high-school boyfriend, but even that clue is not all it appears to be. Nothing about this case makes sense on the surface. That means Margot has to go deep. And that means danger.

As Margot tries to unravel the truth, reaching out to people she thought she could trust, she finds herself in the literal crosshairs, a target marked for death. But struggling Margot wonders if even she is without sin in this case. When details from their past start to emerge, no one is spared in the harsh light of truth.

Can Margot take off the blinders of her youth and get to the bottom of the case before someone who wants them all dead finishes what they started?

Reverend Margot Quade is taking a casual jog around the part when she hears what sounds like a gunshot. A wounded woman comes crashing through the brush and quick thinking Margot carries her to the hospital. Margot can’t help but feel the woman is familiar and then with the help of her cousin, Sam, she realizes the woman is Olivia Van Ness. One of a set of twins that went missing over 15 years ago.

Margot decides to unravel the truth without letting anyone know the true identity of Jane Doe (per her wishes). Was it twin sister Penelope’s high school boyfriend that had something to do with their disappearance? Can Margot discover the truth before she finds herself and even Olivia the next victim?

This is a cozy mystery with a great deal of suspense, mystery, wonderful storytelling and characters, and enough twists and turns to have you wondering whodunit and why.

Let he who is without sin...

Cast the First Stone is the third book in the Reverend Margot Quade Cozy Mystery series and involves a woman who was presumed dead along with her sister fifteen years before. Secrets of the past haunt Margot as she tries to discover what happened long ago before she herself becomes a victim.

Another wonderfully written short story in this series. I cannot wait for the next book.

These books just keep getting better. I could not out this one down. Definitely had more of a thriller vibe than the previous two books. Loved it!

Really great. Most of what happened was caused by a lack of communication.

Twins, Olivia and Penelope were one of Margot's best friends at school and one day, they just disappeared. The whole town looked for them for weeks, but they were never found, and Margot never really got over that. 15 years later, a woman bleeding from a gun shot wound, falls into Rev Margot's arms while she was trying to catch her breath during her morning jog. The woman appeared familiar, but when Sam, Margot's police Detective cousin turns up, they find that it was in fact, one of the long missing twins. Hopefully she will be able to tell then what happened all those years ago and where she has been since then.

Short cozy mystery that can be read as a standalone; short enough to read at one sitting, but long enough to be intriguing and captivating. Another good read from Sarah Biglow.

Margot was on her morning run while listening to an audiobook but she hears what she thinks is a gunshot and so she goes to look when a woman comes running out of the bushes. On the way to the hospital Margot thinks she recognizes the woman so when her cousin comes to interview her she tells her she thinks it's her best friend Penelope but it turns out it's her twin sister Olivia. This book is well written and the characters are awesome.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Book 3 of the series can be read alone even though there were a few references to the previous 2 books. Margot finds herself as a victim in this mystery, but with the help from her cousin Sam, the two ladies continue to solve cold cases of Port Marie. This book and series is a quick read but it leaves the reader longing for more.

I am loving this series. Margot sort of stumbles upon an old friend from school who had disappeared a number of yrs ago along with her twin. Margot and her cousin Sam set about trying to solve the mystery of the disappearance and get themselves in danger too. The author indicates this is the final installment but I really love these characters and would love to hear more from them!

Margot Quale is settling in as a pastor. One day when she is out jogging, she hears a shot and a wounded woman breaks out onto the street. Taking her to the hospital she recognizes her as one of two sisters who had been missing for 20 years.
Finding out what happened to them and bringing the culprits to justice is her forte and she does it again, together with her cousin Sam
A good plot and fun to read.

A 20 year old mystery comes back to haunt Margot and Sam. Is the woman that Margot saved from a gun shot an old friend who disappeared years ago? If so, where has she been all this time?
Very fast, but intense read. I’ll look forward to more!

The final episode of the great Reverend Margot Quade. It is a great finale with edge-of-your-seat action and of course, my favorite characters. Do not miss this last episode. I believe it is the best!
