John Osmond left the Army as a Captain. Being a Green Beret, he had seen action in remote corners of the globe. Karen Grant was a charge nurse at a Florida hospital. She was headed north to help with a family emergency in western Pennsylvania. John was headed north to check out a job prospect in western New York. Fate brings the two together while enroute. Six men who participated in the Capitol riot forced themselves into the family farm where Karen’s mother lived. After a text from her brother alerts her to the situation, John insists on helping Karen. When they reached the farm, they began to spoil the plans of Mitch, the leader of the invaders. What happens next took them all on a wild ride through northern Ohio to Toledo. The FBI and Homeland Security were involved in reuniting John and Karen. In doing so, they learned that the six men were only a small part of a well-organized plan to cause the riot. The evidence trail led them back to the farm for a confrontation. During all of this, a budding romance was developing between John and Karen. Would it survive what was to come? Would law enforcement discover who was really behind the riot at the Capitol?
