Kimberly Loth can’t decide where she wants to settle down. She’s lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, California, Oregon, and South Carolina. She finally decided to make the leap and leave the U.S. behind for a few years. Currently, she lives in Cairo, Egypt with her husband and two kids.
She is a high school math teacher by day (please don’t hold that against her) and YA author by night. She loves romantic movies, chocolate, roses, and crazy adventures. Kissed is her first novel.
Full of suspense, romance, and betrayal. This set follows Pepper, Ruby, and Hughie in the aftermath of the last cliffhanger. I enjoyed their stories and it was cool to see them a little more grown up as well. Overall a great exciting addition to the series.
It took a couple of chapters to get back into this story as it'd been a while since I read the previous books & I'd forgotten who some of the characters were, how they were related & what had happened previously. This book takes up the story 5 years after the previous one had finished. So there was a gap in events & we are left wondering what the remaining characters have been doing & experienced during that missing period. However I soon got back into it & immediately recognized Ruby & her brother Hughie & their Aunt Aspen. We are once again finding our dragon shifter friends battling an evil wizard who they can't identify or find. When a group of travelling wizards turn up Huey wonders if they can help him work out how to lift the spell on his relatives & friends & save the green dragons of Europe who are suddenly being put to sleep 5 years after the Royal dragons fell fowl of the spell. I was sad when I came to the end & realized there were no further books in the series.
The Dragon Chronicles: Book 21, takes place 5 years after episode 20. This one sets the tone and mood of the story. An exciting episode with baby dragons.
The Dragon Chronicles: Book 22 Brings new characters, new romances plus more twists. Looking forward to reading the next one.
The Dragon King Chronicles: Book 23 Brings a step up in romance, and more adventures with dragons and wizzards. A fun episode. Looking forward for the next episode.
The Dragon King Chronicles: Book 24 Brings a evil wizard on the loose, so many questions and twists looped into the adventure. Another entertaining episode. Looking forward to reading next episode.
The Dragon King Chronicles: Book 25 Brings a entertaining adventure to an end in this finale of this part of the series. Questions answered, romances bring hea's and room for new stories in this adventurous realm. The epilogue is the cherry on the top.
Well all good things come to an end. I truly enjoyed all the books I this series. Each book is a very fast read. Less than three hours for each. I finished this box set in approx. eight hours Gale was my favorite story line. But glad he gets to stay a baby forever. Pepper and Gage were also fun to watch. Ruby and Hughie as adults were not nearly as entertaining as when they were kids. Hated seeing Hughie lose his innocence. He only got half of a HEA. Otherwise this was an entertaining series. The three is because of grammar, spelling and word choice. Also sometimes the story was just lacking. Overall it was a fun and clean read.
Part of a series and not to be read as a standalone. The dragon Kings Chronicles returns and it’s been 5 years since the last book, we catch up with some old favourites as well as some new faces, but are they friend or foe. I’ve really enjoyed the chronicles and although by the end everyone’s story gets wrapped up nicely I’d still like to see more from these characters in the future. I don’t think I’m quite ready to say goodbye yet.
Five years have passed for the dragons and the mystery begins to unravel. As adults, Ruby, Pepper and Hughie face difficult situations that kept me on edge with the action and suspense that surrounded them. What a lot of drama, emotions and intriguing situations! I had no idea what was going to happen. This series has turned out to be very interesting and entertaining and I liked how it was full of surprises. I voluntarily reviewed this copy that I received from BookFunnel.
I have learned to ALWAYS get the whole series, even if I have to wait. Ms Loth’s series justifies that statement. The Dragon Kings is a series you cannot put down. Every chapter has you hanging on for the action which leads into the next chapter. There are multiple angles off the main plot. I thought I knew the villain…I WAS WRONG….Loved this series!! Now I have to abandon my reading and catch up with my daily chores 😱😱!!
These books take place around 15 years after the last as Ruby states in one of them it was 15 years ago. Lots has happened including an evil curse that's knocking out dragons. Most of the kids are all grown up and they are the stars of these books. Lots of action, drama and even some romance. Love this series and always happy to get more of it. I volunteered to read this book.
I can’t believe it’s over! But the ride was amazing. These last books were filled with so many twists and all the emotions. I have loved this series since the first book and have loved following these characters and their children through their journeys! I am going to miss them! But this series is a must read if you haven’t read them yet!
Just finished this. I’ve read all 6 BoxSets, all 25books since just before Christmas. Once I started, just had to keep going to find the conclusion. It begins with the love story of Obsidian & Aspen, then it envelopes you into the world of dragons & humans & following the others you meet along the way. I can highly recommend these Box Sets 1-6
Was looking for something new to read. Came across the first book and thought what the neck I would give it a try. I could not put them down. I had them all finished in a little over a week. I didn't want to stop reading. I am hoping I can find more like it.
What a beautiful read, richly filled characters with such varied personalities. Well thought out themes, interesting plots with lots of twists and turns on every page. Well worth reading - all books in order - for best enjoyment.
These five books take place five years after the kings and queen have passed out. Ruby, Pepper, Hughie and Grace have been working with Aspen to try to hatch the eggs and also work in figuring out a way to bring the dragons back.
I always hesitate to read series in lots of boxed sets, but got pulled in so quickly I read them within a week. Heartbreak, drama, romance and dragons galore. Well written and a fantastic read
I definitely recommend this series! I enjoyed this entire series of books. I read them back to back. There were a few typos and errors, but not enough to distract from the thrill and adventure and love stories!
Loved all of this series. Was hard to put down, and even more difficult to wait for the next box set to be released. My type of reading material. If you enjoy fantasy books, I believe you will enjoy it all.
The book is good but there are a few errors. The cover and table of contents state this is books 26-30 but the chapters inside are labeled 21-25. The last book, at the end of the first chapter, there is final pages but then Chapter 2 starts, which is very confusing.
