Bran and Lou could not be more perfect for one another. He’s a gentle souled cowboy and she’s someone trying to rebuild after being dealt a crappy hand and with Bran by her side, it’s all looking up…hello, sexy cowboy.
Vi has really bought all the feels with this one and I cannot wait for more.

Montana Moonshine is a change of pace for this author and it’s like a breath of fresh country air too. I loved this story from the work program concept on his ranch to the romance between the two leading characters, Louisiana and Brandon.
Louisiana’s past is slowly revealed bit by bit and let me say I truly felt for her and desperately wanted to take matters into my hands with her ex. 😡 My heart went out to her in her predicament. She is a readily likeable character and the more I got to know her the more I liked her.
Brandon is an upstanding, hardworking rancher with a good heart, ready to help others out and give them a second chance. I liked him immediately too and it didn’t hurt that he was a hunk as well. 😁 The physical attraction between the two is almost tangible and
yet there connection was much deeper.
I think special mention must go to the great secondary characters too. Jake, the foreman on the ranch, is an honest to goodness bloke, a bit of a larrikin but great value for fun. His quick wit caused me to laugh out loud quite a bit but he is also a caring and supportive friend. Wyatt, oh, I hope his story is next! Yum, ‘nough said! 🤣 Then there’s Brandon’s sister, Rory, what a hoot she is! Hmm, so… maybe we’ll see her in the next story too?? We can only hope.
I totally recommend this fantastic romance, it has a terrific dose of humour that has you chuckling out loud in many, many scenes; a wee bit of suspense and drop of angst. This formula has created a wonderful story that leaves you feeling fantastic.

Obsessed!! It’s not a strong enough word but it’s all I can come up with at this moment. I am obsessed with this author and now this book! I couldn’t stop reading and I kept reading into the early hours of the morning!!
I whole heartedly love Brandon with everything I have and Jake isn’t that far behind. I loved the way he was so excited to have a new person but also trying to be wary because of the circumstances. The way he instantly made me smile spoke volumes to how Louisiana could keep away because I doubt I could with this cowboy. Louisiana is unique and while we don’t know the full story, I truly felt her pain from being away from the love of your life. So many emotions ran through my body for this woman and I think I grew more fond of her than Brandon.
I think I am also even more excited to read more about Rory, Wyatt and goodness Jake! I love their dynamic as a family of friends and can’t wait to see what’s next!!! I think claiming Wyatt now would be beneficial for me…. 😘 I am in awe of this author each and every time because she sends me to these places and I live with them until the story is over but even after that I can’t stop thinking about their future! I love this more than I thought I would and I can’t say it enough that I am so excited for everyone to read it!!

Well...
If that Cowboy comes in the form of the sexy Brandon Nash my bags are packed, and my saddle is ready, because damn! this man is all kinds of hot and swoony.
Brandon is passionate about and has worked had on his ranch rehabilitation program that offers second chances. All six convicted felons who have passed through his program have been men. Then comes the 7th felon. A woman. And not just any woman, Louisiana.
She has him feeling things he's never felt before. And while it may be wrong to cross that line he can't deny when lines are crossed it feels right. But is it?
Louisiana has made mistakes but wants her life back. With a few months of her prison sentence remaining she fought hard to see out the remainder of her sentence working on the ranch.
She wasn't expecting Brandon Nash, her boss, and the man who has her feeling things she has never felt before.
What a world Vi Summers has created. I absolutely devoured this second chance romance story which slightly flipped the switch by having the heroine as a convicted felon.
The characters including the secondary were absolutely loveable and I can't wait for more of them. The story was angsty, steamy, heartbreaking, swoon-worthy, sweet, a little humorous, and truly heartwarming. My emotions were taken on a journey of epic proportions.
My heart ached and warmed, and I laughed, swooned, cried, got angry, smiled, and got a little flushed.

Well, that disappeared way too quickly.
Brandon and Louisiana's story was so intriguing and easy to read that I devoured it in s few short hours.
Brandon is the type of book boyfriend—swoony, playful, loyal, and loving—that gets you pondering about why you haven't packed a bag to go live the ranching lifestyle.
Louisiana was a bit hard to start with—unsurprising really, given all she had gone through—but she softened quickly. And who could blame her? Living with a sexy as sin cowboy who has a heart of gold could soften even the hardest of criminals.
Their chemistry was instant and grew throughout the story, until that connection finally spurred action. And let me tell you... it was delicious.
The secondary characters were fun - providing me with endless smiles and snorts of laughter. I am already wanting to know more about them.
Well, maybe not Jolene. She's the devil!
But I am looking forward to Jake, Rory, and Wyatt's stories.

OMG I have no idea where to start this review I laughed I cried and then I swooned a lot.
Brandon and Louisiana story is perfect it make you want to just jump in the book and be there to watch everything unfold.
That first kiss scene I just wanted to be there and witness it first hand....but them came the most romantic love scene I have read for ages then my heart was rip from my chest but put back in at the same time.
Vi Summers you know how to rip a girls heart out and then replace it with the perfect words ever. Please tell me the next book is on the way...this book is so easy to read and the chapters are nice and short so you feel,like you are flying through the book which of course you are.

I thoroughly enjoyed Montana Moonshine so much, who doesn’t love a small town/cowboy romance! Still swooning over Brandon the sexy sweet talking cowboy and how hot is that cover! But Brandon and Louisiana are absolutely perfect together, and that ending perfect! Bring on more Montana Cowboys series, l'm excited for this series!

Wow!! Ok so who's ready for a trip to the Montana ranch, me me me. This was such a great story. I fell in love with Louisiana and Brandon, such a great couple. AND omg can't forget Jake and Wyatt. Talking about some testosterone filled alpha males. When Louisiana found herself on the doorstep of Brandon's ranch to fulfill her last few months of time she had left to do she never would have guessed she would never want to leave. She was definitely strong willed but Brandon was even more strong willed and in the end they both got what they wanted. Btw I loved Rory. I can't wait for her story. I highly recommend this book. This author hit it out of the park again. I don't think there's a genre that she can't write. I highly recommend them all.

Give me a small town romance and I’m a happy girl, fling in a cowboy and I’m devouring the pages. This book was everything you are looking for in this genre. It was a really quick easy read yet it packed a punch.

Louisiana was a beautiful lady that made one wrong decision that cost her the hardest year of her life. I really loved that the felon in this book was a female, sometimes it’s nice to just mix things up a little. This sweet, strong sassy lady really wore her heart on her sleeve. She has definitely found her home in Brandon and the rest of the crew.
I loved the writing of this book, the characters (aside from the lovely jolene haha) I loved all the names and I loved the setting.

A whole lot country and full of charisma, Montana Moonshine is the perfect combination of tender-hearted cowboy meets vulnerable city girl.
This easy to read second-chance romance will have you swooning in no time and fiercely loving each character. I mean, Brandon, YUM!!
With many obstacles along the way, there was no shortage of satisfaction as the scenes panned out. I loved how it all rolled together in a way you simply HAD to continue reading.

Louisiana never thought she would be in a position to need the 2nd chance program but its the next step to reclaim her life and those important to her.
I loved this book so much who isn't deserving of a 2nd chance in life? I loved the characters and can't wait to read more from them but Brandon and Louisana really will steal your hearts.

Wow, hold your horses as you begin reading this book because you will want this story to last and never end!
Brandon runs Second Chance Ranch, a ranch for felons to attempt to turn their lives around. Brandon believes everyone deserves a second chance. Cue Louisiana, feisty jailbird with one very important reason to toe the line. She trusts no one and knows zero about ranch life or their sexy farmers.
Add to this Rory, Brandon’s hotheaded sister, Wyatt, his best friend and Jake, his ex felon employee turned family and this book has contemporary edginess sprinkled with giggles that keeps the pages turning. And should I mention the sizzling heat? 🥵🔥🔥 This book has ALL the feels! It will make you laugh, make you sob, piss you off and make you want to get up and dance a happy dance but most of all it will leave you panting for more!
I’m an avid fan of this author, having read every book published of hers and this book would have to be close to a favourite of mine from her catalogue. Her ability to draw me into the storyline very quickly and keep me engaged throughout the entire book should be commended. The love between Brandon and Louisiana was so pure, so wholesome and beautiful, filled with passion and hope! 😍
The story was like no other I’ve read, Louisiana’s story broke my heart from the very start, I connected immediately and wanted her to have the best redemption and the beat happy ending. She was a fighter, such a beautiful, sacrificial and loving soul who deserved a good man like Brandon. Her insecurities were heartbreaking but so understandable. I loved her vulnerability and how she opened up completely and found in Brandon the home her heart was needing.
Brandon is book boyfriend GOALS! The guy was just a good man at heart. His empathy touched my heart! he wanted to make the world a better place. He was so understanding, patient and caring with Lou! He felt her pain and wanted to help her carry it. He never cared about her background or in what conditions he met her, he just wanted to be there for her.
I loved how this couple gave me all the feelings. They had the hottest and most intense chemistry, the sweetest banter, it was a swoony bundle that escalated the relationship towards something deeper and stronger than just physical attraction. I rooted for them since their not-so-cute meet cute, till the very end.
The entire plot kept me wanting for more and the anticipation for so many things that needed to be solved was just the perfect amount of intrigue.
I seriously can’t wait to have this paperback in my shelves and to read book 2, which I know it’ll be just as awesome.

This book has everything I was expecting and even more!
The love between Brandon and Louisiana was so pure, so wholesome and beautiful, filled with passion and hope! 😍
The story was like no other I’ve read, Louisiana’s story broke my heart from the very start, I connected immediately and wanted her to have the best redemption and the beat happy ending. She was a fighter, such a beautiful, sacrificial and loving soul who deserved a good man like Brandon. Her insecurities were heartbreaking but so understandable. I loved her vulnerability and how she opened up completely and found in Brandon the home her heart was needing.
Brandon is book boyfriend GOALS! The guy was just a good man at heart. His empathy touched my heart! he wanted to make the world a better place. He was so understanding, patient and caring with Lou! He felt her pain and wanted to help her carry it. He never cared about her background or in what conditions he met her, he just wanted to be there for her.
I loved how this couple gave me all the feelings. They had the hottest and most intense chemistry, the sweetest banter, it was a swoony bundle that escalated the relationship towards something deeper and stronger than just physical attraction. I rooted for them since their not-so-cute meet cute, till the very end.
The entire plot kept me wanting for more and the anticipation for so many things that needed to be solved was just the perfect amount of intrigue.
I seriously can’t wait to have this paperback in my shelves and to read book 2, which I know it’ll be just as awesome.

After opening up his ranch to newly rehabilitated prisoners as a place for them to work during their parole, Brandon is ready to welcome the newest recruit. When Louisiana arrives, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn to her.
This story was just incredibly beautiful, both from Brandon and Louisiana’s perspective. All Brandon ever wants to do is help people, however after what she’s been through over the last few years, Louisiana isn’t too quick to trust him or his motives. As the story progressed, we got to see Louisiana lower her defences and let Brandon in, confiding in him about the situation that led to her being imprisoned. There was one part of the story where my heart broke for Lou, but I’ll let you find that out for yourselves cos, you know, no spoilers. As well as dealing with her own insecurities, Lou came up against some small minded attitudes from the locals, one in particular who was just asking for a slap round the face. Realising she didn’t have to deal with this on her own, having got the support of Brandon, his sister Rory and ranch manager Jake, Lou realises she has found a family, and her place, in Montana.
Vi Summers has written a beautifully sweet and steamy story and I for one cannot wait to read the next in the series.

Brandon Nash is why I read Cowboy Romances...
...and author Vi Summers gave him such a great story that I hit it in one session.
MONTANA MOONSHINE was everything that I love in a book featuring sexy cowboys who own their bossy protectiveness towards the women they love, are honourable to the core, and have a cheeky sense of humour. I loved spending time with this book that lifted my spirits even as I laughed and cried.
Both Brandon and our jail-bird heroine, Louisianna were characters that I admired, especially Brandon as he passionately fought to provide second chances for people who most deserved it, the people who most of society had written off. Mistakes in life are made, and often someone just needs that one person to offer a second chance and a new start. Brandon didn’t boast platitudes, he put them into action, and this is absolutely what I loved about him.
Ms Summers perfectly rounded out the plot with secondary characters that enhanced and supported Brandon and Lou. I adored Jake, who was a rough and tough former crim as well. He was the inspiration behind Brandon’s second chance program, and he was the perfect person to be the thin edge of the wedge to ease Lou’s reticence in settling in. Underneath the surly exterior was a heart of gold.
We also know that this book is the first in Ms Summer’s Montana Cowboys series, and I can’t wait to read more about Brandon’s best friend, the smooth and swoony Wyatt who lived to rile up Rory Nash, Brandon’s sister. What happens when you mix a cowboy and convicted felon? You get one fantastic story! The moment I started reading this I was completely hooked.
Brandon runs a program at his ranch for felons and Louisiana is the newest participant. From the moment the two of them see each other, there is something between them. Yet, Louisiana is focused on just completely the program and getting her freedom back and doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that. However, she can’t deny the charms of Brandon. He is caring, protective and believes everyone should get a second chance.
I felt for Lou. The more her story and her past are revealed the more I felt for her. You can’t help but root for her to have a second chance at life and to have her freedom back. Brandon is just easy to fall for. He is swoony, caring, protective and who doesn’t love a cowboy?
The secondary characters in this story were also fantastic. I loved Rory and I seriously can’t wait for more of her. Jake is amazing and I really want more of his story. Plus, Wyatt! I feel like each of them has so much more to tell, but I loved the bits and pieces that were provided in this story.

Having read Ms.Summers' work once before I've been looking so forward to picking up more of her books! As soon as this one was announced I knew I had to read it next! I enjoyed this story!!
I was so glad to be able to jump into the Montana Cowboys world! Brandon and Louisiana's journey was a unique one which I so enjoyed! I really liked how their story had my attention so quickly and the way I got to dig deeper with them.
I wasn't quite sure what all was going to happen with these two characters and that got me into it even more! I felt so many things throughout as well!
With Montana Moonshine, Ms.Summers has created such a good and different kind of read! I am so looking forward to more of the Montana Cowboys world!

This book was a sweet and steamy read. This is the start of a new series from Vi Summers and one I definitely want to keep on reading. The characters are interesting, and the story line in this book was compelling. With sweet heroes and sassy heroines, what more could you want?
Brandon is sweet, caring, and hot! Perfect BBF material right here. His and Lou's chemistry was burning a blaze through this book. I liked the secondary characters as well and would love to know more about Brandon's sister and Wyatt!
This book was a quick read, and for me it wasn't at all heavy in the story line, it was quite light and funny, which is a nice change from the heavy books I have been reading lately. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I loved this swoony cowboy romance!! I haven’t read one in a while so I was excited to get my hands on this! It was everything I had hoped for! A strong rancher with values and knows how to be a gentleman…but a dirty cowboy when needed! 😉 A heroine with a past & flaws, that wants to work hard for those she loves. Even the side characters were amazing…I really hope we see quite a few get their stories too! I love the ranch rehabilitation program, I thought was a really unique for a storyline. My heart did get caught up in Lou’s story & situation, I was so invested in seeing her have something good happen for her, I couldn’t put it down. Bran ugghhh what can I say…he really is swoon worthy!!

Louisiana and Brandon's book give you story full of everything. From beginning to end it will pull you in and keep you glued to your Kindle not wanting to end. I was completely enthralled and Brandon runs a ranch that gives a second chance to felony, Louisiana there to get her second chance by her story broke my heart and made me swoon. Will these two have a forbidden relationship or will they keep on the back burner and not let happen? I fell for these two and Jake adds the right amount of series and funny. I adore and wasn't disappointed with this book and I can't wait to read what she has next.

This was an enjoyable journey and the start to a fun new series!
Bran was everything a girl could want in a cowboy--kind, compassionate, hard-working, and sexy!
Louisiana was reserved but had a tender heart hidden beneath her tough little exterior. I found her brave and admirable.
I loved the side characters too and have a feeling Rory and Wyatt are gonna give us a wild ride LOL.

I loved this story. Give me any small town romance or any with a cowboy and I love it and never want to put it down and this was no different. I fell in love with Louisiana and Brandon, such a great couple. Louisiana found herself on the doorstep of Brandon's ranch to fulfill her last few months of time she had left to do she never would have guessed she would never want to leave. I think I am also even more excited to read more about Rory, Wyatt and Jake. I love their dynamic as a family of friends and can’t wait to see what’s next. I highly recommend this.

I really liked this story! Louisiana is looking for redemption and she applies for Brandon's ranch program eventhough she's a city girl. Brandon has had 6 convicted felons come finish their sentences on his ranch. When he sees Louisiana, he has to keep reminding himself why she is there. Overall the story was good at times i would have liked a little more to the story. Didn't stop me from enjoying the overall story.
