Let’s play two truths and a lie. Knox Delton broke my heart. I hate Knox Delton with every fiber of my being. I never want to see Knox Delton again. Can you spot the lie?
Everyone at Alton University knows about Knox Delton: the gorgeous, bad boy Tight End with a body built for sin and a taste for living dangerously. They call him a tornado, because he’s a wild, out-of-control force who creates chaos wherever he goes.
But I know that’s not what he really is – he’s a fire, scorching everything he touches to ash. I know, because I’ve already been burned. Before Knox Delton was the Knox Delton. The broken heart he left me with four years ago has yet to fully heal.
I’ve tried to keep my distance since then, but this year a major wrench gets thrown in my stay-away-from-Knox plans: he’s my next-door neighbor. They very last thing I ever wanted.
At least, that’s what I told myself.
I feel myself drawn to his flame again. Everyone knows if you play with fire, you get burned. But I already have my scars. What’s the worst that can happen if I reach into the flames one more time?
I guess I’m about to find out.
Hate You Still is a standalone, 50k-word enemies-to-lovers sports romance with lots of drama, lots of heat, and a heart-warming happy ever after!
bruh it’s not even like slow burn there’s just too much blah in the beginning and they get together there’s a problem and they fix the problem within 25 pages like WHAT MAKE IT LONGER if the next book i read ends w “i love you and their name” “i love you too and their name ” IM GONNA FUCKING LOSE IT
This is a well written second chance romance between Emma and Knox. The author brings strong, well developed characters and weaves an entertaining story. Told in the dual POV the story flows fluidly along with the perfectly painted scenes. She brings all the feels as she moves their relationship forward. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I liked the start of this book and the animosity and chemistry between the two. Once they got together though I found the ending was rushed. I thought the final conflict where Knox felt because his talent had deserted him he needed to leave her because he was always on his own could really have been fleshed out more. It felt like they broke up and then suddenly 3 days later they were back together. Also I felt that Emma was hurt and confused over the breakup but when he explained his reasons to her she said 'I understand'.
Overall I thought the book was OK but was disappointed with the flat ending.

Hate You Still is the third book of the Kings of Campus series but it can be read as a standalone. It follows Knox Delton and Emma Willows who once dated back in high school but one day Knox decided to dump her and left without saying goodbye which left Emma heartbroken. Years later of attending the same college they had finally ran into each other with them being neighbors. Knox had always thought their reunion would be a happy one considering she was the only good aspect of his life but their first reunion was definitely not a good or happy one.
I’m not too sure if this is considered as an enemies to lovers story but more of a second chance one. I feel like there wasn’t really any hate between the two, maybe just heartbreak and jealousy. I would say it’s a bit slow burn, they don’t really get together until more than halfway through the book although they did talk about their breakup and the reasoning behind it about almost halfway through the book.
Other men and women were mentioned in the book, where they’ve been with other people in the past and Emma went on one date with another guy during the book and Knox flirted with other girls.
I feel like Knox contradicts himself sometimes. Majority of the book he pines after Emma but there are times where he’ll deny his feelings, even once he mentioned he did love her in high school but never had the chance to tell her and towards the end of the book he questions whether he cares about her or if he might possibly love her? I also felt like I couldn’t fully connect with Emma as a good chunk of the book is written in Knox’s POV and I felt like her brother was a bit irrelevant to the story, I thought something major was going to happen with him but it felt a bit flat. But despite of this, it was still an enjoyable read.

First, it is an enemies to lover romance. Second, it is also a second chance romance. Boy dates girl in high school, breaks it off, and years later they not only live next to each other, they attend the same university.
The story is fine, the intimate scenes are loving, not heated, and their circumstances leading to permanence. It is a sweet story with two main characters determined in avoidance. Still, that can only last so long. They are bound to be together. It is a quick read to take you away for a moment's time.
A great story. I’ve really been enjoying this series. This one is a second chance romance. It’s also an enemy to lover situation too. Knox is the hot-shot footballer on a path of self destruction. Emma is the girl he loved and had to leave behind. She’s just moved in next door and his partying ways don’t go over well! Get ready for some laughs and some tear-worthy moments too.

I'm afraid to admit it, but Lyssa Lemire's books are growing on me, that being said Holy Cow this is a good one The plot is seasoned so well, it left me apprehensive Knox Delton and Emma Willows are now my favourite book couple I know I complained about how most of her work are cliche, but this one is different (that's probably because I prefer football players to hockey players) For me, this had the perfect mix of comedy, romance, smut, sadness, everything really It's a really nice read
I absolutely loved the dual, first person point of view of the story. This is always a huge deal breaker for me. I really liked this story and the fact that it pulled me in from the first paragraph and held my interest.Knox was a real alpha guy and for me it's a guy that either makes or breaks the story.

Knox Delton and Emma Willows have a brief relationship in high school and she ended up with a broken heart. In college, she has not gotten over the hurt. Then he becomes her annoying neighbor. Will she continue to hate him even when all this time has passed? Or will she finally give him another chance to see if they have make it work this time?
I loved the pranks they tried Tom-lay on each other in this. They were hilarious. Knox I loved from the start. Crazy fun guy. Emma was hurt but still had feeling for Knox she didn’t know what to do with. This was a fun book. Loved it.
This was an ok book. My problem was in the fact that the main character had to coach junior high football for community service. Then what? He quits on the kids? Sad that it was pushed aside.
First book to be read by the author Lyssa Lemire. I found this to be a pretty relaxing, entertaining read. A light second chance romance, I can always read those every now and again.
This was an ok read. I really enjoyed the back and forth at the beginning between Knox and Emma but the ending seemed so abrupt and not much effort put in. Not my favorite but I would still read this author.
I love second chance romance. These two are great together. The bad boy who doesn't think he's good enough, but she knows he's the one. It just, of course, takes him since time and some sense getting knocked into him from the sweetest little "Grandma."
The book was good at the beginning but towards the middle- end it really kind of fell off and was really bland. Just kinda blah. Other than that the beginning was good.
