Everything begins.

Everything ends.

Sometimes, it has to end before it begins.

In the course of a year, I have had my heart broken, reforged, only to be shattered again. The tears won’t come. Not anymore. No more looking back. No more asking what if.

Coop wants me to let myself feel it. Jake wants to distract me. Archie wants to put the world at my feet. Ian wants me to not make choices until I’m ready. I’ve got family ready to catch me, but I refuse to fall.

No more waiting.

No more holding my breath.

The future is now.

We have a chance to forge the path we want and I’m all in.

So why does it feel like I’m running away?

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

It doesn't happen very often that I fall in love with a series this long. Usually I avoid them like the plague because I often feel cheated when the plot starts dragging and cliché plot twists are used to keep readers on the edge of their seat. This series however is hands down the best I have read in its genre, as I keep falling more in love with the plot and characters with every book we get. Heather Long does an amazing job balancing the good and the bad times in a way I don't feel like it's becoming a soap opera with a lot of exaggerated moments. There's a lot of growth, a lot of overcoming hardships together. The communication between these characters is heartwarming and admirable. In short, these characters feel real to me in a way that I could be friends with them. I connect to them in a way I rarely do and that is what makes this series stand out for me.

Songs and Sweethearts is another emotional ride where Frankie and her boys deal with the aftermath of the previous book. What truly stands out to me is how we not only see growth for our main characters. I am also very much invested in secondary characters and their story arcs, which I believe is one of the main strengths in this series.
As I feel the ending of the series is coming closer, I know it will be hard to say goodbye to them, but this will definitely be a comfort reread for me... Over and over and over...

After the cliffy at the end of the last book, we jump right into the aftermath of those events. Frankie has her up and downs trying to wade through it all. The guys are extra great throughout! There are lots of happy times and a few traumatic times. When I say traumatic you will know what I mean when you get to the "coffee" thing. Edward has made some surprising growth and we got to check in with some of fav side characters. A very emotional read all the way through, looking forward to the next book.

Definitely ready to get to the conclusion of this series

I did love seeing how supportive the guys were for her and Ian being away so long. I loved that they never made her feel bad about those choices. I loved seeing how she handled her mom's death and the grief she felt because it shows not everyone handles death in the same way. The one star taken off is because while I enjoyed the story and characters I have noticed I'm losing interest in their story. Definitely realized that long drawn out series are just not my thing. I just feel like several of these books could have been condensed and combined by taking out a lot of extra filler. I haven't always taken off stars for this sort of thing, but in recent months I've started to be a bit more picky about my reviews when it comes to overly long books or series that seem to drag on longer than necessary. The characters have such a unique dynamic and honestly don't fit into the standard RH mold with each guy having a stereotypical role to fill, and that is what drew me into this series, but as the series progresses I have noticed that I seem to connect less and less with them because I have just gotten bored with a lot of the more repetitive parts of the storyline. And while the editing/errors have greatly improved since book one, they are still very noticeable after 10 books.

I still plan to see this series thru to the end because I do want to see how their story ends.

I recently referred to this series as a comfort read and while reading Songs & Sweethearts I realized it’s really the perfect description. Being back with Frankie and the guys is like visiting old friends, and I get a warm and familiar feeling each time I dive into the lives of these characters. Ten books into the series and I’m still completely captivated and 100 percent invested in their story.

Songs & Sweethearts is filled with plenty of joyful moments. It’s June which means traveling, fun and sun and simply enjoying each other. In addition to the happy times, there is a lot of emotion as Frankie is suffering from Maddie’s death and doesn’t quite know how to process her complicated feelings.

S&S also features Frankie and Ian on tour and recording their album. The fact that the guys have to go without seeing Frankie every day for the first time is taking its toll on Archie, Jake and Coop. But this family comes together to support one another and they make it work. Bestie Rachel makes more of an appearance in this book and Heather has now got me anxiously awaiting Rachel’s story!

S&S is another heartwarming and steamy addition to the Untouchable series. But in true Heather fashion, we get an unexpected twist at the end which reminds us that heartache is typically right around the corner for this crew. If you haven’t yet started this series and enjoy friends to lovers romance with plenty of angst, drama and steam, you must pick up book 1 today!

I'm a big fan of Frankie and her guys, and every time I pick up a book in this series, I don't know what to expect, but for the ending. I felt like lately the endings of the books are the same; they just keep repeating—there is only a different person dying each time.

In this book Frankie needs to deal with her mother's funeral and with her career as a musician. Frankie and Ian are forced to live in a different state from the guys while they are on tour presenting their music. When they are finally back all together for the winter holidays, death struck again.

The whole Rachel / Dominic thing seems underdeveloped and unnecessary. Why add another plot line at this point? We've got a lot going on already.

The only thing I liked about this series is how it started and the length. Other than that is flat out boring and repetitive. I skipped chapters waiting for something interesting to happen but not even the sex is interesting.
The fights they have between each other are so stupid and unnecessarily long.
Everytime I though I felt something because it picked my interest it would be to short and we moved on too fast...

Boring

And then there were 10! 10 books in the Untouchables series! It’s no secret that I love Heather Long books and that Frankie and the guys are among my favorite books of hers (spoiler I haven’t met a HL book I don’t love, but I digress), but Songs and Sweethearts was the perfect accompaniment to Defiance & Dedication after that cliffhanger that Heather left us on with Frankie’s mom.

Watching Frankie and her family (because that is totally what she and the guys are) and their families support them as they weather this storm, so good. I love how conscientious Frankie is about her family and how she and Archie ban together to take care of Edward. MAN has he come around from the first couple books of this series. I never thought I’d be rooting for him, but I sure am. He’s finally seen the light of what is truly important in life…family. Found family, made family and our connections to others. We’ve been watching Frankie and the boys create their found family through the whole series and I love how they incorporate what they have learned personally, in therapy (Frankie), and through real life experiences (hello ALL of D & D and other books), to better theirselves and their relationships with others in their family and the close friends they identify as family.

I relate so much to Frankie on the level of her complicated relationship with her mom, watching her grief surrounding that relationship, was hard, but so well done. Her comments about being numb, not knowing how to react. Watching her go through the stages of grief, I just wanted to reach into that book and hug her, kind of like Kelly did. Mom hugs are the best, when done right.

June and the epic summer vacation after Freshman year of college, it gave me the absolute chills….I love and adore Frankie & Coop and that scene in the marketplace? Chills….I can’t wait for that to happen in actuality. LOVED it. I also loved her getting a chance to change some things that happened in her past and take control of how others treat her. You go girl.

Among the highlights of S&S….Rachel and the guys becoming closer friends (ummm please tell me we’ll see more Dominic in the future…because YEAH….and the boys as wingmen for her when she’s on the prowl, KC and the girls of Torched (I love her friendship with Frankie….Frankie is like her KC’s sister), the way they found ways to connect while they were out on tour. LOVE. I loved watching Jake & Archie reconnect with their love of robotics, and then there is Coop. I adore that he is volunteering and working with youth. Jeremy’s new BFF? ALLL the tears. I can’t wait for more Miss Abigail cameos in the last two books.

But, oh my heart…..that ending. Made me cry……just remember grief never truly goes away, each day just gets a little easier to manage. Hold tight to those memories and the love you feel.

Full Review posted at A Book Lovin' Mama's Blog

I’ve enjoyed following Frankie and her boyfriends, Archie, Coop, Ian, and Jake, as they grow from high school students to college students in the last nine books. They have made their relationship as five work out well, and there have been some bumps in the road with some of them fighting, but they have come a long way from the first book. The boys have grown so much, and so has Frankie. I’m proud of all these characters and anxious to read how the next two books play out because now there’s not much suspense or drama to happen, especially with Maddie being gone. Maddie seemed to be the focal point of drama when it came to Frankie and with her gone, there’s not much happening, except with Frankie dealing with her mother being gone. It’s not like she was there, but it still affected Frankie. Frankie has the best support system; the guys will do anything to ensure she’s happy. The family dynamic of the characters and how they are together keeps me reading. I love Frankie and her boyfriends differently, and my review would be too long if I went into those details.

The issue I had while reading this book, though, was it didn’t have the same kind of drama as the previous books because the main cause of the drama was finally gone: Maddie. It didn’t hold my attention, and I was bored when reading it, skimming over parts. This book included a lot of inner dialogue, which felt unnecessary to the story. There was also the issue of Frankie being away from three out of four of her boyfriends. I knew it would be difficult for Frankie and the three boyfriends she left behind. They supported her the whole time, but I could tell by their POVs they were missing her, and even Ian missed the guys. I understood we had to read the journey of Frankie and Ian’s music journey together, but the whole time, I wanted her with her whole family, which includes all her boyfriends.

I’m curious about what will happen in the next two books. I feel like this series was too long after reading this one when I felt bored most of the time reading this book, and I hate saying that. I love Frankie and her boys, but I want them to have their happily ever after. I will hold off on reading the next two books, but I will finish this series. I must know where Frankie and her lovable boyfriends will end up together.

Would I recommend this book/series? I recommend this book/series if you enjoy reading Mature YA to New Adult and College Romances. (Characters are in their senior year of high school (books one to eight), and then book 9 – later they are in college.) It is a reserve harem/why choose, which means the FMC doesn’t have to choose between the four boyfriends she’s with throughout the series.

I am not even sure what I am feeling right now. I laughed, cried, swore, and felt “hot and bothered” and so many other emotions. I so love Frankie and her guys!! I love the progression from their senior year I. High school to their 2nd term at their university. Frankie and Bubba have the talent to go far (well they all do but in different areas) but they take everything in stride and don’t let their successes go to their heads. What I really love about this series is seeing all the characters grow and develop. Some readers may think that this series is too long and should have ended but I totally disagree as when you reader about Frankie and they guys you can see they are. Family and they face challenges together. Even if one individual thinks they should keep it to themselves they are reminded that they are not alone. While their relationship is unconventional and some might not approve of RH romances but I am definitely not one of them and I think the Untouchable series is so fantastic because they have real life problems that people face at the age that they all are now and overcome them together and in a way that has you feeling right along with the characters. Songs and Sweethearts is full of so much emotions that by the end you don’t want to stop and you really want the next book because it is so captivating that you don’t want to put it down. You keep hoping or at least I am that there has to be more.I know that there are to more books to go but I have to admit that I will be reading other books by Heather Long while I wait anxiously for the next book, Legacy and Lovers. I will be reading 82 Street Vandals series while waiting for Legacy and Lovers. Well, I also have Kill Song on my kindle so I might check that out while waiting too. Depends on which book I feel more in the mood for when I sit down to read. I like having time set aside for books that I read from Heather Long, author, as I know I will not want interruptions or do have to stop and put it down and I have been known to stay up all night reading one of Heather’s books. Yes, Heather Long is on my fave author lists. I love books written by Heather as they are always full of twists, turns, things going sideways, secrets, revelations, fast paced action, a range of emotions, real life issues, characters that are well developed and have past that make them more relatable, and is very very hot 🔥🔥🔥 and I mean the panty meltingly hot kind of hot! 🔥. As you have ready guessed I highly and sincerely recommend Songs and Sweethearts, Untouchable series (really needs to be read in order to get full picture), and Heather Long as an author. Happy 📖!!

Songs and Sweethearts is the 10th book in the Untouchable series and you most definitely have to read the other books before you read this one. Book ten picks up where we left off on that killer ending in book 9. It was very dramatic, traumatic and life changing. Not only does Frankie have to come to terms with what happened but Eddie and Archie do as well. Just because something of this magnitude happens, doesn't mean that the rest of their lives stop either though. There are still decisions to be made and life to live.

One of the things that I adore about this series, and why it's still one of my all time favorites even 10 books in, is that Heather has such a gift with her storytelling. Frankie and the guys are not characters in a book I read. They are friends. I am not only invested in their story but I'm deeply invested in their lives. We have watched them grow from teenagers trying to figure out themselves to young adults navigating life. We have laughed with them, cried with them, been angry and frustrated with them. Their happiness has been our happiness and their heartbreak has been our heartbreak. To see them making the choices they are now and growing as people, and through it all they have stuck together. It just makes you all warm inside. It makes me sad to know that there are only two books left in this series.

This group has had some tough times throughout the series and this book is no exception. This is a hard one emotionally. Not only do they have the loss and trauma to deal with, there is also a separation happening. Not in the way you might think so don't freak out, just read the book. I'm trying to stay spoiler free here. As always, Rachel is our favorite best friend/side character and she really grows her relationship with the guys in this book. There was also maybe a hint at a future book/series with some other characters we've met in this book. Here's hoping right? Now Heather wouldn't be Heather if she didn't just gut us with her ending. This is not a cliffy like she usually leaves us on but it was a heartbreaking ending for sure.

Only two books left! I want to say I can't wait to see what happens but I don't want to say goodbye either.

Why did you read this book?
There are a few series I’ve been wanting to read. This is one of them.

What format did you read this book in?
Read it as an ebook on Kindle.

Is this an educational book or a book for entertainment?
I read this book for pure entertainment purposes.

What genres do you think this book belongs to?
Chick Lit, Contemporary, Fiction, Romance, Adult

What was your favorite part in the book? SPOILERS
My favorite part is when Archie had try to program the oven to cook food. He ended up causing it to catch on fire and causing it to break. LOL. Since he’s rich it wasn’t hard to replace.

Who would you suggest this book to?
Anyone who likes slow building romances.

What is your general opinion/ rating of this book? SPOILERS
This book was okay. I felt like it dragged on a bit. It might be the fact I am not interested in the music industry. I think it’s great that Ian and Frankie got a recording deal. It’s too bad that they had to have a long distance relationship with the rest of the guys. I am glad that Frankie didn’t deal with her Grandmother BS at her mother’s funeral. Archie’s dad (although a jerk) is growing on me. Sadly Archie’s grandfather passes away in his sleep. Which is too bad because he was one of my favorite side characters. Overall, I think this one was my least favorite and I felt like this could have been shortened and added into the other books.

How intense are the intimacy scenes?
The intimacy scenes are vividly detailed. Menage. Voyeurism. BDSM.

At what “burn” level is the romance?
HOT burn.

Love interests, how many of them are there and what gender?
There are four love interest, all of them males, and childhood friend.
Coop, Ian, Jake, and Archie.

First, if you haven't read the rest of this series, STOP, go back and read them, you won't be disappointed.

At the end of the last book, I think I can safely say all of us were both shocked and relieved at the demise of Frankie's mother Maddie. That Edward, who truly loved her, chose Archie and Frankie over her, was huge. Now we deal with the aftermath, the funeral lowkey and dignified and luncheon following held a few interesting confrontations. One with Frankie's grandparents and another with Dominic Walsh.

Once back at school, Frankie hasn't been able to attend classes, her attention span just isn't where it needs to be. She has options she just hasn't taken the steps to take advantage of them. However, she does realize it's her best option at this time.

Rachel becomes more prominent in their lives throughout this book. Her presence is something Frankie needs and truly she is the best friend ever!

The guys of course are the most patient, they know they can't help with the grieving process, and it's killing them to watch. They are all back in classes and going about their normal routines. Frankie sometimes joins them as well for a run.

Now along with finishing up the semester, there's also the contract negotiation for Frankie and Ian. Ian is thinking of delaying things even more. Frankie, however, finds out from Dominic and insists they continue as planned.

We get to see KC and the rest of Torched, as Frankie and Ian start their musical journey. I think I may have detected the hint of a possible series hidden in those interactions.

I find myself trying to come up with adequate words to describe this book, it's beyond anything in the series so far and I became more addicted with every page. The relationships are more than a little complex and the way every single character has grown is obvious at every turn. Every emotion is represented in this book, and I felt every single one.

To say I can't wait for the next book is an understatement.

She's free. Frankie is free of her mother but will she ever be able to let her go now? How is she supposed to feel? What is she supposed to do? She's confused, removed, numb. Archie's lost his smile too. But they will find their way back. Their troubles are temporary, they are forever.

Oh, Heather. Not sure whether to hug you or shake you or demand you give me a hug. I can't say this is my favorite book of Frankie and her guys but it may be the best. It's low drama. There are no girls trying to get to the guys or destroy Frankie, no emotional or physical attacks, no huge misunderstandings but there is so much life. And life is messy. One minute you are on top of the world and the next you're being trampled by the masses. It's confusing, rewarding, exhausting, and exhilarating. I didn't enjoy this book as much because of the physical separation. However, I respect going after dreams and supporting those you love. More I support realizing what is most important in your life. This book excelled at all of these. It was emotionally gratifying. These characters are so real to me at this point, I am beyond invested. It borders on ridiculous. I feel joy, pride, pain, excitement, worry, and every other emotion along with Frankie. I celebrate as each character, main or side comes into their own. This book, I'm looking at you, Edward. And that ending. Heather! Lift me up only to pull the rug out from under me again. Why do you do this to me? Seriously, I can't recommend this series enough.

Untouchable 10

This book definitely ran the gambit, at least I didn’t have anyone to cuss at this book. The end kinda gutted me because doing the math in my head he really wasn’t that old. Archie’s dad should be about 40 which is young, making grandpa maybe 65 which in this day and age really isn’t old. I understand the need for drama in a book, just didn’t think that was needed, the tour was that enough. The tour was pretty much what I expected. That first album cover paint shoot when Frankie looses it finally was so gut wrenching. I’m glad before the tour they had that special sailing trip. Rachel and Coop bonding over piercing was so good. Not necessarily feeling the way she keeps ghosting her lawyer lover though, not even to setup for her books, just seems mean when he obviously cares. I know she’s the cactus queen, doesn’t mean I want her to be the heartless cactus . Ian has grown so darn much in this series, he’s become a great man, loving his growth. Coop is the sweetest, the way he loves Frankie is goals. Jake playing hockey is exactly what he needs to get his aggression out. Archie I sure wish I had me an Archie nuff said. Jeremy is the best, the glue that keeps everything going smoothly. Edward has turned from bad meatloaf to a good one, so glad he reconciled with his dad, and Archie. I’m in no way ready for my all time favorite series to be so close to ending, I cannot imagine not having more to read on this fantastic characters! Love you Heather Long for bringing me this fabulous world of Frankie.

Oh another fantastic instalment!

I honestly felt all the emotions at the beginning of the book, it was heavy whilst dealing with the after effects following the ending of Defiance and Dedication, however filled with so much love for Frankie which was beautiful to witness. Also can we even cope with how she defended Edward!?

The tour was everything, I was constantly smiling watching Frankie and Ian live out their dream together whilst staying true to themselves. I hate, like Frankie, her and the guys being separated but it’s equally as nice to get some one on one time, this time with Ian! He still makes me melt in to a puddle with how caring and attentive he is, I love him so much!

Hank and the kids still remain my favourite side characters, I’m kinda a bit obsessed with daddy Hank I cannot lie, looking forward to hopefully seeing more of him in the next couple books as I love watching him and Frankie get closer and closer!

So many laughs in this book, especially with Rachel and her one liners whilst staying with the guys, she cracks me up with her sense of humour. I loved the presence of KC too and the little possible teaser in to what her series will be about and I am HERE for it.

Oh that ending.. I was sad! I can’t wait for the next book and can’t believe there’s only two left!!!

Heather is a genius. This book showed just how much each of the characters has grown and supports not only Frankie, but each other.

I have no words that can properly show just how much I love Frankie and her guys. After the way the last book ended, I was so worried about how they would be able to move past it. But as always they stood together and supported Frankie and Archie in just the right way.

Frankie's dad and stepmom, also made such an impression on me.  He was there for her, without being asked or forced and even if it was just silently standing by her side, he was there.  She learned that she can depend on him.  Something she never really had with Maddie. And her Stepmom never forced anything.  She just made sure Frankie knew she was there.  I adore her little sister and brother but the eldest made the most loving impression, simply by stepping up to be there for his sister.

Oh and the heat...boy oh boy! Birthdays should always be celebrated just like that...Hubby, please take note...lol.

I hope we get to see a bit more from the boys' families in future books.  They are all a big family and it showed in this book.  It would be nice to explore that a bit more.

My heart is so fragile due to the latest cliff hanger that Heather served us with.  I had to take a moment just to breathe!!

Thank you Heather for always bringing your all!!

6/5⭐ Extra Star Read Reading this series is like coming home everytime. This series is magnificent there's nothing else like it. The way we know and live with thess charathers through their lifes. It absolutely captivates and transports you.

This book touched and some really deep topics while also furthering the relationship, dreams and lives of the characters. Death and grieving are big themes and I thought that it was done so well especially considering which characters we're going through it and for what reasons and the complexities there.

We also get the relationship put to another test in life with some separation with distance with Frankie and Iab really trying the music thing.

And we got a lot of fun too especially with Rachel living with the boys and some intriguing love life drama of her own.

Each book has been amazing and this one was truly touching. Each book blows me away time and time again. The characters in the story are just so amazingly developed every book it feels like we're coming full circle on different part of the overall story. With just two books left in the series after this... I just can't even. My hearttt, this series and this book has my heart. I highly recommend this book and this favorite series of mine.

I keep coming back for more

Songs & Sweetheart is book 10(!) of the Untouchable series, and must be read in order. But trust me, they go so fast!

I seriously love this family. A family who weathers the storm together, who stands firm and backs each other. This book tells the tale of a long distance relationship, but also covers trauma, grief, and loneliness. I love these books, mostly for the fun and lightheartedness this series brings, but this book took on a cloak of sorrow and wore it like haute couture. With class and tasteful grace, we experience so much love from this family of five, and I’ve fallen even more in love with Frankie’s guys.

We do get some spicy scenes, and I will say this. These boys are definitely no longer boys. These men turning 20 this year are growing into themselves, and growing more comfortable in their familial roles. The negotiator, the best friend, the protector, and the fixer. And those roles DEFINITELY translate to the bedroom. 🔥🔥

No #teammadatheather this time, for me at least, but the ending was sooooo hard, and I’m not looking forward to the time I have to wait to see how they jump this next hurdle.

Story 📖: 5/5

Oh Heather. First off, I am so sad because now there’s only two books left of Frankie and that makes me so freaking devastated. But gosh, this book was everything. It had me in all my feelings. And I fell even harder for the boys. The story was of course perfect and I can’t get it out of my head that this series is almost complete. Ugh. Anyways, after last books cliffhanger, this book was pretty great. The ending was sad not like last time where you’re like holy cow what? But it brought some tears to my eyes.

As usual, Heather illustrates the Frankies world so perfectly. I love entering this world again he has the cohesion we see between the characters (usually) is the best. I love all the boys personalities and how they banter. Frankie is Frankie. I keep wondering when she is going to catch a break but I think her time to shine is on the rise. This book made me happy, sad, cry, laugh a lot, and just super excited to be back in the world of Frankie. I am cautious to say I’m excited for the next book because that means one will be left. So, I’ll say, if you haven’t started this series yet, now is your time. Meanwhile, I will be PATIENTLY waiting the next book, we don’t need to rush it, ya know :’)

I wasn’t ready. I just read the last words of this book and I’m in shock. I wasn’t ready, and never saw it coming. This year was hard for Frankie and the boys. Their first real streak of separation, and Frankie is numb after her mom’s death. She doesn’t know how to feel. Her mom was such a cloud of dissatisfaction, fear, neglect, and not a safe place to land. She was awful to so many people.

If I were to say one thing Frankie learned in this book…its boundaries. She’s been working on their throughout, but she learned to apologize less for them. What she and Ian want on this tour is important, and the music works can change people. This isn’t acceptable. This is their fun, their accomplishments, done their way.

Rachel and KC have secrets, but Frankie and the boys are letting them work things out. As long as it seems like they are ok-ish…they will let it lie. I can see that it will get messy at some point, and Heather will lead me on more adventures.

I love this series with every word, line, and book, and I’m sad as we get one book closer to the end. I cried at the end…grab your tissues friends.

This was an emotional rollercoaster ride! I love Frankie and the guys so very much!

Poor Frankie. She has been through so much. She is feeling numb and depressed. The guys are there for her for anything she needs, but they don't know how to get their happy, smiling, laughing, sunshiney Frankie back to them.

Ian and Frankie are away from the other guys for awhile in this one, and the way they all handle it is so adorable at times. I am so happy for Frankie and Ian getting to live their dream. And my man Coop, he is the MVP of this book for his surprise for Frankie!!!

You can feel all the love they have for each other coming off the pages. They have all grown so much and I love all of them so much! I have been on this wild ride since book 1 and i feel like a proud momma seeing how far they have come.

Heather, I swear, you just love giving me heart palpitations with these endings!!! Yet another masterpiece from you, you beautiful woman!!!

I can't wait for more of Frankie, Jake, Ian, Archie, and my boo Coop ❤❤

I am not ready....not ready at all for this series to end and here we are at book 10 out of 12.
I could truly spend my entire life reading about Frankie and the boys!
Once again the author has managed to suck me into her pages and the lives of those wonderful characters of hers.
I can't point enough how well wrote those characters and those stories are and how well the author knows to leave us hanging with out heart on our hand and most of the times sobbing our eyes out until the next book comes to make it all better.
I love Frankie and i love how she has evolved and grown and in this book we saw more of that.
I also love how her relationship with each boy grows and of course how the boys grow as well into their lives and into their relationship and how they slowly turn into men.
I am not ready yet to say goodbye to all of this but damn what a great journey its been so far and i truly cannot wait to see what the next and final book will bring.
Another excellent addition to this series!
A job truly well done!

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT LAST 2 PAGES!!!!

@heathervlong you are a magician I am sure of it! How can you write such a sweet book full of love and beauty and then at almost the end of every one of them in this series leave us like THAT!!!

Its UNACCEPTABLE!! You should be grounded but since I need more books from you Im going to let it go lmfao.

This book picks right up where the last one left us. Frankie is sweet as pie as always and struggling after the events in Defiance and Dedication. The men are trying to help her best they can.

We are following dreams again/still in this book. We are getting some new upgrades 🤣

Jeremy is the love of my life Im sure of it. Heather I think I speak for all of us when I say we need a Jer book lmfao

Rach is Rach and Im obsessed with her. If it doesnt work out with that dinkhole let her know Im interested.

As always I love this book and really Heather could never stop writing them and Id prolly read every single one no questions asked.

Stupid book.

End of review.

*sigh* fine. It was a stupidly brilliant book that has had me in tears. The whole book just has you on the verge of despair for Frankie and what she’s going through, and then the guys trying to help her through it. But those last couple of chapters just did me in.

It was a challenging book. The focus on dealing with grief and the different ways it can impact people and how they cope with it. Grief takes you by surprise, there’s no rhyme nor reason to it, it just is. I feel emotional even writing about it. But I loved that focus here, it wasn’t brushed over, it was a big part of the story. But it wasn’t the only thing happening here, we got to see Ian and Frankie go on their own journey, we saw more of Rachel and her part in the family “solidifying”. Jeremy, I love Jeremy so much.

The book is just, well it’s great. So great. I loved it and as always am desperate for the next.

2 things I’m excited about on the back of this book.

1. Rachel’s series.
2. KC’s series.

Soooo excited for them, even more so now.

Loved it, as I knew I would

I didn't know what to expect after where we left off, but as always this was awesome. I was excited to see them go on tour, and I would love to see more of that. I would love it if all the guys went on tour with Frankie and Ian. Just think of all the fun,and great stories, and memories they would have! I have to give my boy Coop a shout out. I am soooo jealous of Frankie.😉 I'm also really happy with the direction of things on TBE Eddie and Archie front. My heart did break for Edward, I'm glad he's not alone,oh,and he and Hank becoming friends-love that!! I'm also happy for Jeremy, and Miss Abagail ( love the name). Of coarse I am sad about the ending, I wasn't expecting that. That's a big lose for poor Archie. I just love these guys. Whenever a new book comes out,and I start in with it, it feels like I've come home to my people. It's crazy how attached I am to these characters. Thank you so much Heather Long, I love and adore these characters.

There are not enough words to say how much I loved Book 10 of the Untouchable series by Heather Long.

The world Heather has built for Frankie & her guys (Make sure you’ve read them all before diving in here!) is just so good. The cliffhanger on Book 9 was rough - my heart hurt.

Book 10 picks right back up from where 9 ended - and the ride keeps going & picks up speed. I laughed. I cried. There was a lot of emotion here, and I think how Heather captured grief, how people process grief, and how one can (try to) move on was just perfect.

The ending here took me by surprise (& I cried again!), but I know in order for the books to continue, something like this had to happen - which Heather even acknowledged in her notes at the end.

I both want book 11 and don’t because it means we are close to the end & I am not ready to say goodbye to these characters. Go read this immediately - you won’t regret it!

How much can one Frankie take?
Frankie’s now dealing with the fallout of an attempted murder and grieving through losing a mother who was both mentally and physically abusive. She’s now assessing what’s been told as truths vs what she knows to be facts and gaining a father who shows her unconditional love. Of course she has the boys to help navigate her ups and downs.. but what was important to her before doesn’t seem a priority now. Heather as always shows humanity through these beautiful characters, we get to toggle between the minds of Frankie and her Men, (a musician, engineers and a psychologist). We get to feel their rise of fame and experience their separation as adults and physical separation as they chase their dreams. This book bobbed and weaved so beautifully.. and it wouldn’t be a true heather book without the silly and the spicy… ohhh the spicy… another feather In the cap for this gorgeous series!
