I'm really rather boring... Honestly. I live a pretty hum-drum life as a wife and mother. I shop at the local supermarket and use coupons now and again. See? Boring stuff.
I live in Virginia now, so I am learning all kinds of new things - such as being able to buy beer and wine along with bread and toothpaste. Wow!
Having been born and raised in England, I do possess a well-developed feel for the English countryside. Comes in handy for those Regency tales. Even though I was transplanted over to the US side of the Atlantic, I still have ties to all things Brit. I bake sausage rolls and make Christmas pudding. You can take the girl out of England, but not England out of the girl, I guess.
I'm not sure anyone can write really well unless they read. A lot. I read anything and everything these days. And mostly on my couch with a book on my knees. Yes, the technology is out there for electronic versions, but there's not much to compare with a shiny new hardcover from a favorite author.
Very different from Sahara Kelly's normal fare. "Scars of the Lash" is an erotic science fiction contemporary paranormal story. How's that for a mix?
Sally Ann writes erotic paranormals about a savage race of vampires that use BDSM in their sex and mating rituals. Her books are exceedingly popular and her novels seem to flow from her pen without conscious direction. What she hasn't admitted is that they also flow from her dreams. Dreams that are becoming increasingly realistic...to the point of leaving marks of violent sexual escapdes on her body when she wakes!
This one was just a little too violent and too heavy into the BDSM for me. A little bondage, a light smack is one thing, but blood and pain just don't 'do it' for me. If that's your pleasure, then you will certainly enjoy "Scars of the Lash". As for me, I'll stick to Sahara Kelly's lighter brand of erotica.
This book is very gruesome and bloody. It's about vampires on planet Raheen who enjoy violent sex. There is torture and sex acts so violent where they start ripping of the flesh of each other. Of course they have some special fluid in their fangs so they heal each other really quick. There was some element of romance , however it was lost with all the violence. Not a book I would pick up again to read.
I have read this book a few times. I even bought it in paperback, ( on Amazon) after I was informed repeatedly, it was unavailable. This book is fantasy, erotic, graphic, and beautifully written. I became a huge fan of this author after reading this book. It is a complete story, leaves nothing to the imagination, written so it pulls you in, keeps you enthralled, anxiously awaiting what would happen next. It’s just a WOW!, kind of book. Even if your not a fan of erotic fantasy, this book is so well written, from an author whose passion is writing. Enjoy!
A re-write from Scars of the Lash, the author has updated the story. This was a very different type of story. Sally Ann, S.A. Moss, is a writer that writes bloody, horror, vampire, bdsm stories. And she's got a huge following. Unfortunately she is also drowning in her dreams of another planet with similar things in her stories. Little does she know she's got another life in front of her.
This story is a mix of Sally Ann, and Sulianna, a Mistress in stasis on another planet. The Master is waiting for her to "revive" so they can together save the planet Raheen. All three will have to work towards the ultimate goal.
Warning: Extreme sexual situations, as all vampire bdsm romances will tend to be.
