This story was short and sugary sweet. My first read by this author and I was not disappointed. For being such a quick read, it wasn't lacking in characters or plot.
Nathan returns to his hometown after many years of living in California. His Grandmother finally talked him into a short visit and that's all it would ever be. He ends up running into his high school crush and the girl of his dreams. Old feelings that never went away start to resurface. Were they just one sided or could it be possible that Harper feels the same way?
I instantly fell for Nathan. Book boyfriend material for sure! Nathan was quite the sweet talker... freaking good at the dirty stuff too! Harper was the perfect woman. Loved by everyone.

A quick, fun, sweet treat, read. I love second chances, and this book feeds that. Nathan is a successful businessman out in California, has not been home to Sweet Valley, TN in ten years. His Grandmother’s ninetieth birthday the reason he returns home for the celebration.
Harper has not left Sweet Valley; the family has kept her here. The family business needed her to take over the family bakery. Her teenage crush is back in town. Does he recognize her?
The characters are believable, and they do the work to get together and stay together. The small town is quite charming. Grandma is outspoken and delightful. The cinnamon rolls sound amazing. Everyone orders them! I cannot wait to return to Sweet Valley.
I received an advanced copy from the Author; this is my voluntary review.
Well, welcome to Sweet Valley, TN where love abounds and everyone seems to have a sweet-tooth, a love of community and loves happily-ever-afters.
Samantha Lind really moved this story along right from the beginning. No build up, no drama. Right from the start you knew that Nathan and Harper would end up together. There’s a part of me that thoroughly enjoyed the no-nonsense approach and another that says that the sexual tension and expectations are what brings a story together. There was nothing but love from beginning to end.
I can’t say that this was a second-chance romance either. Harper and Nathan knew each other most of their lives but there was no “romance” between them during that time. Just high school crushes. They made their feelings known early on in the story and then worked to make sure things worked out the way they hoped they would. In fact, I was surprised with how easily they figured things out, how quickly their crushes turned into pure love. But they did. They both had their lives figured out and then did what they had to do to change those visions and make it work. It just showed what compromise and commitment can do for a relationship.
Nothing Bundt Love was a quick and easy read. Like I said, it got to the point rather quickly. I enjoyed the “no drama” aspect and the love and respect that that had for each other. Did I miss some of the build-up to the explosive bed-room scene? Sure, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this book. The characters were fun and interesting and story was cute, sweet and steamy. That’s definitely enough for a quick summer read while sitting on the beach or beside the pool.
Nathan's coming back to their hometown - the boy she always had a crush on but who hasn't looked back since he left a decade ago. Perhaps she'll get the chance to get to know him again...
Unknown to Harper, Nathan had always had a crush on her too. Now that he's back in town, he's determined not to let her get away from him again. So what that he lives in a different part of the country, a billionaire always has ways around things, ways to get what he wants, and what (who) he wants is right in front of him now.
This is a sweet, easy read. Harper and Nathan fall into a relationship very quickly, with little drama getting in the way. In fact, that's really my only complaint, that it's too easy, so much so that I was a tad bored, wondering if something a bit more exciting was going to ever happen. I also felt as if I didn't get to know them beyond the surface, but what I did get to know, I liked. Both are sweet and they have great chemistry, and the writing flows well, so 3.5 stars rounded up seems fair.

5 Star Review of Nothing Bundt Love (Sweet Valley, Tennessee #1) by Samantha Lind
I loved the title of this book Nothing Bundt Love and couldn’t wait to dive in. This is a second chance at love story for Nathan and Harper.
It’s been ten years since billionaire Nathan has returned home to Sweet Valley, Tennessee. He never planned on returning, but his grandmother guilted him into returning for her 90th birthday. One of the things I loved most about this book was Nathan’s absolute love for his grandmother and the fact that he will drop anything for her.
Harper had a crush on Nathan when they were in high school but nothing came of it, now he has returned and it appears that he has his eye on her and is determined to pursue her. I fell hard and fast for Nathan, such a swoon worthy, caring and protective man who ticked the boxes for me whilst Harper is someone I could easily see as a friend.
Harper has no idea that Nathan also had a crush on her and when he walks back into her life she is wary as she knows he isn't planning on staying. However communication is key and as they slowly but surely open up to one another they will find that they have a chance at true love and happiness. From the first chapter to the last I was invested in the story that Samantha Lind wove and found this to be an entertaining read.
This was an awesome second chance at love romance with a bit of lost chances storyline and had a bit of instalove. I adored the entire story and could not put it down.
In this book we meet Nathan and Harper. They grew up in the same small town and she stayed for the last ten years and now runs her family bakery. He left for college and never came back, instead he became very rich and lives in California, he comes home 10 years later to celebrate his grandparents and runs into Harper.
Both had huge crushes on each other and never told the other but they were really good friends and when they meet again they want to explore a relationship as they always crushed on each other. But Harper is very connected to the town and Nathan can't move back and so these two have some big challenges to make a relationship work.
I absolutely adored this story and loved that its low on drama. It was sweet, hot, romantic and has some really adorable moments. Its very much an insta love story and I loved how Nathan would do just about anything to make it work with Harper. I also loved the small town atmosphere of this story and the family aspect of this romance.
I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Nothing Bundt Love by Samantha Lind I was given this book by the author for an honest review. So I have fallen in love with Samantha’s audio series for the hockey series she has out. When I saw she was starting a new series and caught the name…sold!! I mean it sounded adorable and fat girl loves cake!! LOL One thing I do love about Samantha’s characters are how true to life they seem. They have the flaws you and I have so I feel they are relatable. Which makes it easier for me to be THAT girl in the story…and who didn’t wanna be THAT girl in this story because Nathan…HEEEY!!!! Nathan is coming home to visit his grandma after being gone a substantial amount of time creating a business that is thriving. When he comes home he sees HER…ya know the one girl….ya know….Harper. He totally crushed on her and her him but nothing ever came of it. Now that Nathan is back he is totally going after Harper. The two need to talk and slowly trust but with all Samantha’s books she gets the characters where they need to be to move everything forward.
I really enjoyed Nothing Bundt Love. I'm actually eagerly anticipating Nothing Bundt Forever, but I didn't see an expected release date listed for that book. Anyways back to this book. I loved the small town setting, the fact that Nathan returned home for this big family event, and the fact that he fell hard for Harper. I also liked the fact that Nathan wasn't afraid to offer his assistance (whether just business advice or financial assistance). He wanted Harper's business to succeed. So I loved every little bit about all that. My ONLY issue with the book, or maybe it's Samantha Lind's writing, is that the big drama moment/moment of conflict that tends to happen in romance novels, didn't really happen. It was more of a little mole hill than a big thing. And I guess that just left me underwhelmed. I want to see my couples fighting for their relationship. I don't want them to just have an easy go. Yes, Harper and Nathan are located on opposite sides of the US. Yes they are both workaholics. Yes they are both driven. But honestly it felt as though Nathan got his way a bit. He could have easily moved his company to Sweet Valley, or opened up a regional office there. But it is what it is. I still loved the characters, the Sweet Valley setting, and the storyline. I just wanted the big dramatic moment. (Also, am I the only one who reads Sweet Valley and immediately thinks of the series by Francine Pascal? Or am I just aging myself?)
If you're looking for a new romance book to read that is 1) a quick read, 2) has wonderful characters, and 3) has that awesome small town setting, then go grab Nothing Bundt Love.
Nothing Bundt Love certainly ticked all my boxes and I’m sure it will tick yours as well. This is Nathan and Harper’s second chance/small town romance. Nathan is back in his hometown after living the high life in California, it’s taken his grandmother many attempts but it’s her 80th birthday that finally convinces him to come home for a week. A visit to the local bakery has him coming face to face with Harper his high school crush and it seems old hidden feelings are about to come rushing to the surface. Harper can’t believe her eyes when he walks into her bakery, even more surprising is Nathan doesn’t immediately recognise her. The man before has got better with age and this is where their new journey begins but like all small towns it wouldn’t be a romance without meddling relatives…… This is a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch, it still draws you in and captivates you, it has a hero I fell hard and fast for and a heroine I adored but will the fact he lives a billionaires lifestyle in California and she runs the family bakery in their hometown ruin their future before it even begins.I highly recommend this entertaining gem to every romance lover.
Samantha never fails to deliver something to us that always touches your heart. This time is no different. Sometimes you just need that story that doesn’t complicate too much but delivers a dilemma. She also lets you see the real person of who they were before they make it or break it. This time is no different.
Nathan is the self made man who had his insecurities in high school but hid them well. He’s had a secret for a longtime. So he went away, but circumstances brought him back. Harper is the local baker who had to face her own issues and has been holding things together far too long. She too has her secrets. Can a trip to the bakery change everything? Well you have to read the story to find out how it all plays out. Don’t worry you get the smiles, the emotions, the hunger from the bakery as well as the hunger that these two characters ignite. Let’s just say the bakery ovens aren’t the only thing that’s piping hot!
I read this book in one sitting because it’s a fast read and I couldn’t put it down if I wanted to. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I know it’ll be just what I need.
Nathan had no plan to return home. But after his grandmother guilt tripped him into coming home for her 90th birthday. Now his home again for the first time in 10years. Also coming face to face with his high school crush.
Harper is the one that stayed in Town when everyone else left. She stayed to help run her family's bakery. And then in walks her high school crush... Could this be the day her life turns around... Getting to know each other seems easy enough, but what happens when Nathan has to leave. Are they too different to be together and will the distance be too much for them to get past..
This was a quick read, but also one that you get hooked on from the start. I loved that Nathan wanted to be there for Harper and to help her with her business. This was a sweet fun light hearted read. Which i enjoyed... But there was nothing that stood out for me. And even though this one didnt have the usual drama or little bit of angst it was still a good read.
Sweet. I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie book Blog. Nothing Bundt Love is the first book in a new series called Sweet Valley, Tennesse. This is Nathan and Harper's story. Thye both grew up in the same small town. Both had huge crushes on each other and never told the other. Nathan is sweet, gorgeous, and all in to win his girl. Harper is smart, beautiful, and is really determined to keep the family business a success. Nathan left town but now he is back for a short visit. They are so perfect together. I love the chemistry between them. Can they do the long-distance relationship? This is a heartwarming story about love, family and had challenges to overcome. That showed them what truly mattered the most was their love for each other. If you love reading about small town romance, then is the right one. Keep up the good work. This can be read as a standalone too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

#nothingbuntlove by @samanthalindauthor was straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Holy smokes was there a lot of heat here!
Nathan was the nerdy guy in high school. But going to college away from his small town in Tennessee he met his best friend Leo. Geeking it up they wrote code and sold it for billions. Coming back to his home town after 10 years, he’s going to see what his life has really been missing.
Harper was the girl next door. Nathan’s best friend. He was the one that got away from her. You never forget the guy that stole your heart, even if you think he didn’t feel the same. Now he’s back, she’s the prize he’s trying to win.
I really liked this book. The chemistry between Nathan and Harper is nuts. Even though the time between seeing each other last is longer than it should’ve been their feelings never changed. I’m a sucker for a #secondchancefeiendssmalltownromace
Nathan left his hometown a decade earlier to pursue his dreams and he has returned home to celebrate his grandmother’s birthday a successful businessman. He didn’t expect that a visit to the local bakery would bring up all the buried feelings he had for Harper that he never told her about.
Harper’s life went in a contrasting direction than Nathan as she stayed in town to help manage her family’s business. When they were teenagers her feelings for him were stronger than friends and they haven’t diminished over time. There is no denying the chemistry and connection between them but is it enough to overcome their very different lifestyles?
This is a heartwarming story about love, family and realizing that even though they had challenges to overcome that the only thing that truly mattered was their love for each other.
Loved this story! Nathan will make you swoon! 5 stars for this one!
Nathan is returning home for his Grandmothers birthday! No big deal right, but it is, he hasn't been back home in ten years. He hit it big his first year of college with his roommate, and also, he didn't want to go back home and watch the girl, Harper, that he's crushed on through high school, continue to date and possibly marry someone else.
Harper can't believe it when Nathan walks into her bakery, and then he doesn't recognize her, wow! She crushed on him, and he left and hasn't been back since. He's still as good looking as he was back then.
When these two get together, you will swoon and fall in love with Nathan, and you will love Harper also! Don't miss out on this one, grab it asap!
Nathan and Harper's story was such a whirlwind romance. I don't always enjoy some whirlwind romances but these two's story is heartwarming and sweet.
The two of them have always been friends since high school. Unknown to each other, both of them actually have crushes on one another. But Nathan left right after they finished high school and never returned. He returned after 10 years and when he saw Harper again, he knew it's time to realised his crush into a real one.
I fell in love with these two right away. I thoroughly enjoyed their story so much. I loved how they reconnected but still their relationship progressed quickly. It was just easy for them and the flow of their story was great. I can't wait for the next book!
Nothing Bundt Love was a short(ish) & super sweet read that I totally enjoyed. Nathan hasn't been home in many years, but his Grandmother finally talks him into coming back so he does. He only meant it to be for a very short visit, but when he runs into Harper, the girl he always wanted, well, things take an interesting & fun turn. Harper never got a chance to leave town as her family needed her so she runs the family bakery. She believed that Nathan was the boy who got away, and now that he's in town, she starts to wonder about things again. This small town read was delightful in the telling, and I seriously wished it had been longer at the end of the day, especially with Grandma, who very nearly stole the show. So hit those one click buttons to smell the baked goods! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Nothing Bundt Love will have you falling for the small town in TN and hungry with all that yummy imaginary smells we get from the bakery. Harper and Nathan missed their chance at expressing their feelings ten years ago and now he is back in town for a G-Ma visit and he knows now is his chance to tell Harper how he feels. Problem being is they are now in two separate spots in life and states. Can small town Harper handle CA? This is a quick read and moves quickly especially at the end of the story. I love the surprise cameo we see in NY from a separate series by this author. If you love a small town, but big city life, read this one's for you. I am excited to see what transpires with the bakery.
I couldn't wait to dive into this one because it's written by one of my favorite authors, but also I love when a character is a baker. I love to bake myself so I find it fascinating what they create in the books. I loved Nathan and Harper. Nathan has returned to his hometown after ten years away. It's going to be an eye opening experience for him because learns some truths he didn't see coming. It made my heart happy to see Harper and Nathan get the shot they should have a long time ago. This was a nice fun light read. It's the reason why I love Samantha Lind's books because I know the books are going to feed my romantic soul. This is a book you don't want to pass up! I'm so excited that Harper's cousin is going to get a book because man do I need her to get a HEA stat!
Nothing Bundt Love is a cute second chance story that is easy to read and perfect for summer. The story was a cute idea, anything involving second change love is always a good idea in my book. There wasn’t any drama or complex characters which was a nice change. However, the story line felt very rushed. There would be a quick build up to a certain event but then that even would be brushed past quickly or passed over completely. The ending felt very abrupt, too. I am a huge fan of Samantha Lind, so I will definitely continue to read her stuff, but this book unfortunately wont be in my re-read pile. I wanted so badly to like this book, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea!
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Nothing Bundt Love is a book as sweet as the baked goods from the bakery the main character owns. It's a short and cute read that'll leave you craving cinnamon rolls and your very own billionaire, wait maybe that's just me. ;)
Nathan returns home to small Sweet Valley, TN for his beloved G-ma's 90th birthday. While in town, he runs into his high-school crush, the girl he could never bring himself to ask out but has secretly been in love with for about ten years. Instantly those feelings flood back but thankfully, this time, he lets her in on the secret and she returns his every emotion.
This book is full of great characters, sexy times and lots of heart! Great read.
This was an easy book to read. One thing I love about romance novels is the angst. And am I wrong in saying I also love when the main characters break up and then fight to be together? Now Nathan and Harper’s story has neither of these two elements yet I loved every bit of it. Nathan with all his money could have been written in such an arrogant manner, but instead he was a sweet and beautiful man. Harper is just a small town girl who will move heaven and earth to be with her man. It gave me all the feels and I couldn’t have been left with a bigger smile on my face at the end of the story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Nathan had a crush on Harper in school but instead of telling her, he leaves town so he doesn’t have to see her end up with anyone. When Nathan returns to town, things quickly heat up between the two of them. Their chemistry is on fire and their connection is so strong. But Harper and Nathan have taken separate paths since high school. Harper is still the small town girl working at her family bakery. Nathan became a billionaire spending his money on lavish things. Will they be able to overcome their differences? And what about the distance between them? How can they make this relationship work from different states? Nathan will do anything to win over the true love of his life.

This is Harper and Nathan’s story. He left town and has not been back. He is back for a week to celebrate his G-Ma’s 90th birthday. When they were in high school each of these two had crushes but when he left it kind of broke her heart. When they meet again the chemistry is there and they wonder if now they have a chance to explore it. They have a week after all. But what happens at the end of the week if they are forming bonds? He lives in a different place, and she live here with a bakery to run?
Nothing Bundt Love is another cute read by Samantha Lind! It's a second chance 10 years in the making! Harper is bakery owner and Nathan hit it big and now runs his own business. I loved the idea and characters in this book. For me the beginning was really strong and I loved these two. As the book progressed though, I felt parts were a bit repetitive and the ending a little rushed. Personally, I felt Harper was the one having to give everything up for their relationship to really work. Would have liked Nathan to give up something too! Looking forward to Nothing Bundt Forever!!
A quick & easy listen! This is kinda a second chance romance I guess you could say? They both have always had a crush on each other since high school. After graduation, Nathan decides to move to California where he meets his best friend & they end up building and selling an app making them a billionaire overnight whereas, Harper ends up taking over her mothers bakery due to health issues. After being away for 10 years, Nathan comes back in town for his grandma & ends up stumbling into Harper’s bakery. It’s insta live at first sight except Nathan couldn’t remember who Harper was exactly 🤣
