5 star Review Forever With The Chef (The Forever Collection #3) by Allie York
Forever With The Chef was an entertaining read and I was riveted to the story that Ms.York wove from the first chapter to the last.
Shae Mitchell has had enough and has decided that life in a small town is for her. However she didn’t count on meeting arrogant chef, Liam Campbell who disrupts her life in ways she never imagined.
The chemistry between Shae and Liam is intense and I fell hard and fast for swoon worthy Liam. These two are at cross purposes and the miss-understandings had me shaking my head at times. There was some drama and heat which added to the interesting journey that they travelled.
I found myself smiling whilst reading Forever With The Chef, it was everything I wanted and easy to read. For me Shae and Liam made a great couple.
Forever With The Chef by Allie York The Forever Series #3
Hot Fantasy Fun in this Short Steamy Story!
What I liked: * It made me smile…and perhaps shake my head * Shae: a woman who knew what she wanted, went after it, put up with no guff, strong, good friend, independent, interesting. * Liam: chef, excellent at everything he does – except with inept waitstaff, a hunk and then some, direct, knows what he wants, intriguing. * That it was obviously a fantasy * The instant chemistry/lust ~ because it was a fantasy that was okay * Seeing Dax and Joss from book 2 * Meeting Remi who will be in one of the series stories * The dialogue between Liam and Shae * That it was an easy fun read * That there was a happy ending
What I didn’t like: * Shae’s doofus lying cheating ex – just as I was meant to.
Thank you to indiepenpr for the ARC – This is my honest review
I am a fan of Allie York and her books, and Forever with the Chef is no exception. My only problem with this book is that I think it is far too short, the story has good bones but because it was so short I just felt that it jumped around going from plot point to plot point. For example they went from almost hooking up, to a one night stand to him asking her to move in with him in about 15 pages. And while there is nothing wrong with a novella or a quick read when you're expecting a longer book it's kinda disappointing. Overall Forever with the Chef is a good quick read that you should definitely check out but as I said it's a bit short. Shae Mitchell decided to move to Forever after finding out her now ex was secretly married with children and once she found out her best friend Joss was pregnant she knew that it was the perfect reason to move. Shae moved to escape the pain of her ex but after meeting chef Liam Campbell again she is quickly forgetting all of the reasons she should take a break from men. Liam is a tough, no nonsense, man, in and out of the kitchen. When he sees Shae he knows that he doesn't want forever but something deep inside him knows she's the one for him. Can Shae have forever with her chef?
Shae is a girl who lives her life to the fullest, but even she can be brought low by heartbreak which is how she ended up in Liam's neck of the woods. She's decided that she's going to live some small town life, and frankly, it's probably the best thing she's done for herself because she never saw Liam coming, who is like blue cheese, an acquired taste LOL! He's a talented chef with a very bad attitude, and everyone knows it because his rep precedes him. And he never saw the sunshiny Shae coming but it was the best thing to happen for him. They have so much heat going that there's a lot of sexy times, and that's okay if the story were a bit longer because it almost felt like any sort of feelings getting caught took a backseat but that's just me. Please decide for yourselves because it's always a delightful time reading Allie York! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is the third installment of The Forever collection. The story was well-written and captured my attention from the start. The author does a nice job with descriptions and providing details that will really make you understand and feel what's going on in the story. Shae comes to town for a fresh start away from her lying ex, not planning to get involved with men anytime soon. However, after meeting Liam, she starts seeing things differently. The sparks fly strong between them, but Liam is not looking for forever, however something about Shae tells him she's the one. Wonderful characters and an engaging storyline will keep you captivated till the end. Looking forward to reading the next Forever!
I was given a complimentary advanced reader's copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I read the one before this and in that one, Forever with the Mechanic, we were introduced to Shae and Liam. I thought this one was better than that one in that the way things moved quickly worked more for a casual type of relationship that both of these characters were saying was all they wanted. It was more believable to me for sure. This was a novella just like the last one, a short, quick read. One I finished in a few hours of course since I started on a Saturday and was able to finish with nothing else going on. The drama in this one, except for one little part, was rightly placed and also realistically solved. But again, like with the last one I read in this series, this is the perfect read for not having to think too much but can just read and enjoy, in one sitting too!
Forever with the Chef is the third book in the Forever series. This one is Liam and Shae's story. If you like Insta-love stories then you will probably love this series. I'm kind of so-so on them, but generally ab OK with them. Out of the two that I have read in this series so far, this one is probably my least favorite. While I liked Shae, I didn't really like Liam. I thought he was kind of a jerk. Other than physical attraction, I'm not sure what Shae saw in him. He was possessive. He barely knew this girl and he was out of line most of the time. I did like that Shae wasn't afraid to stand up to Liam and it gave me a little hope for their relationship. There are a lot of steamy scenes, so that was a bonus. It's a quick read, so give this one a shot.
I am not a fan of super quick romances I realize that now. This book while it was a super quick romance was a little more believable than the others. Shae and Liam were both fiery personalities that triggered something primal in the other. Lol the hunt was on when they saw each other. I like Shaw’s fun and some a little spiteful antics. Liam, along with the other Forever series men, were a little too high handed for my tastes but he had his charms. Their romance was believable because it’s easy to understand why some people would balk at relationships. Shae’s sorry ex, Liam’s sorry wannabe girlfriend, but after meeting someone who changes the game for you they both threw caution to the wind and said wth. If you need a quick laugh with two spicy lovers give this a shot!
I’m finding that I really enjoy this series. I may not have started with the first book, but Shane’s friend sucked me in with the last story, so I had to know what happened for Shae and Liam. And let me say, I was not disappointed. They’ve got some misunderstandings and someone’s quick temper to work through, but this made for a good read that delivers some drama and heat and love and friendship all in one quick-to-digest package. And of course now I need to know how Remi fares, because I liked him and his casual acknowledgement of how lucky Liam is here. We shall see if he finds his happiness also.
Forever with the Chef is a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch, it still draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the final word has been read. Share Mitchell is looking forward to a fresh start in a small town what she didn’t expect was a grumpy, arrogant chef named Liam Campbell to turn her life completely around. Plenty of miss-understandings, plenty of chemistry and just the right amount of drama make this an entertaining read that will appeal to a wide range of audiences. It’s a stiry that was easy to read and perfect to escape with, it has wonderful characters, witty banter and it had me smiling throughout.
After the way Shae’s last relationship ended there was nothing holding her in town, so she decided a fresh start close to her best friend is exactly what she needs.
Liam is a chef who is very demanding of his employees, but he never expected to see Shae in his kitchen. They had met previously at their best friends wedding and the sparks flew but that attraction is about to turn into a blazing fire.
Shae’s fiery and fun personality is exactly what Liam needs in his life and the chemistry between them is undeniable.
York mixes humor and emotion to hit that ever elusive sweet spot to the heart. From the fiercely independent heroine to the broody yet tempting hero, Forever with the Chef struck a chord with me right from the start. I love stories that give women the chance to be heard. Shae is a courageous woman with a great deal to say. Liam is a bit hard to read but his heart gives soul to the story. From fire and ice to heat and heart, Forever with the Chef got it right.
Forever With the Chef is a cute grumpy/sunshine romance and book 3 in the Forever Collection.
Shae is looking forward to small town life and a fresh start. Liam is a grumpy chef with a reputation that precedes him. What neither one counts on is the fiery connection between them.
Shae knows what she wants and goes for it, and what she wants is Liam. Liam doesn’t know what hit him when Shae’s sunshiny presence flows over him.
This story is short, very steamy, and an enjoyable read.
This is a short steamy story. Liam is such an interesting character, takes a bit to warm up too. Shae, gotta love her confidence, wish I had half as much as her. Overall this delivers some great drama, steamy scenes and off the charts chemistry between them. What a great additional to the series!
This is a quick read with lots of sex, emotion, flirting and possessiveness. I really enjoyed both characters Liam and Shae. Love their chemistry hot from the start. Allie York does a great job telling their story. If you’re looking for quick read I highly recommend this read. I received this advanced readers copy for my honest review.
I really liked this one! This read is fast, fun and flirty. I liked Shae and Liam. Their chemistry was steamy. The story was easy to read and the blend of drama, emotion and heart went down smooth and easy. All in all, I t felt it was a great little romance. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.
Shae and Liam's story was a quick and sweet romance. I enjoyed it. They have hot chemistry. Just like the rest of the book, their romance is pretty instant. And they're just hot for each other. If you’re looking for a quick read, then this is it.
I love this story. It is a fun and quick read that gives you a little drama but so much love. I love how Liam and Shae don't really fight what is happening between them and just lets things flow. I love how feisty Shae is and how Liam can be dominate when needed.
I am loving this series. You dont need to read the other books in the series but it does help to know the other characters. Liam and Shae story is all about miscommunication . I was laughing through about this book. I cant wait for the next one.
Forever With The Chef by Allie York is part of the Forever Collection. Shae and Liam heat up the pages and brought a smile to my face. This is a quick read with fun and sexy story and interesting characters. Very enjoyable read.
Shea and Liam are smoking hot!!! Their chemistry is off the charts! Perfect story for a grumpy man and a I-dont-give-a-f*** attitude of a woman. Perfect for each other. Love this smokin hot romance.
I enjoyed this quick story very much. If Shea wants something, she gets it. After finding out truth about her fiancee, she wants Liam. She gets Liam and much more. Great story.
This is an OK story. The two characters are good characters. They have an instant physical connection. I struggled with why they had the connection beyond the physical that they had.
