Every time I close my eyes I see him. His strange silver skin. His terrifying black eyes. His icy white hair.
His intense, dominant gaze that tells me I'm his and his alone.
No way. Just because he saved my life on Saloo VII doesn't mean I owe him said life. A thank you, perhaps. But nothing more.
I return to Earth hoping the dreams would stop, but when I'm attacked again by vicious aliens, guess who swoops in to save me out of absolutely nowhere?
Thiray th’Rasda Di’ylian.
The mysterious Thaana warrior warns me I'm in great danger — and that he's the only one who can protect me.
I do like it when he wraps his strong arms around me and tells me I'm safe.
But can I truly trust an alien who’s stalked me across the entire universe?
Fated Mates of the Thaana is a spin off from my Dohan Warriors series, but this book can be read as a complete standalone! However, if you want the full backstory, consider reading the Dohan Warriors series first!
A quick read with lots of action, I enjoyed this story, it had a lot going on. This new series continues from the previous one and it was full of twists and intense action. The heroine is on her way back to earth on a secret mission, we meet some new characters, then the poop hits the fan, and the action kicks up. I read this right through. It was fun and easy to get lost in!
The book has moments that are decent (enough to get me to finish the book), but too many cheesy moments or stuff that doesn't make sense. Then the end rushes up & things just seem too forced & fast. Nothing is ever really explained, snippets of things are given to the reader, but no real explanation for what's going down or when it started to go down or who the bad guys really are, just that they are bad & taking over the universe. The part where he saves her originally when he starts to follow her is never really gotten into, so I have no idea what he saved her from, why he's so sure she's his mate, or why she's so terrified of him at first. So basically there's really no world building. Character development is super light, I didn't know the characters any better than when I started the book. Overall this read like a novella, I didn't catch a page count to know for sure it's a novella or not (it only took me about 2 & 1/2 hours to read this so I suspect it is & Amazon & Goodreads didn't list a page count & I'd already returned the book from KindleUnlimited). I wish I hadn't wasted time on it now, and I sure won't read more books from this series.
This was a quick read but a most amazing and enjoyable one at that, I loved the characters and the chemistry that was burning hot between them. Viliana is a human taken from earth with others by the evil Uttlux aliens to be sold off but they are saved by Dohan males but Viliana is saved by mysterious alien man called Thiray who can appear and disappear at will and he has set his eyes on her but must let her go for now but he follows closely in stealth mode protecting her from harm and at night he comes the visit while she is asleep and she dreams of him always. Thiray is not supposed to get involved his job is to watch and learn and report back what he finds out. But this human female makes his two hearts beat and all he wants is to take her and be her forever mate but he must remain in control. Now back on earth Viliana sets up a dating app to find human females wanting a better life with a Dohan males on Dexhar and this whole time back on earth she feels like she is being followed but puts it aside and goes to meet three women wanting a better life. There meeting is interrupted by her mystery man Thiray who saves her life again and the girls from Uttlux that tracked them down. Thiray has saved his mate again from a poisonous bite but it may cost him his life but he is happy she is safe and so are the Dohan males because of his alert. With danger chasing them Viliana and Thiray finally give into the temptation that pulls them together but can they have HEA or will it all be taken away from them if he dies.
A great first book in this riveting series, thoroughly enjoyed
This is a wonderful read and I really enjoyed this book and the way in which it was written and the characters and the plot line was simply wonderful and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
The Dohan do not know much about the Thaana and do not trust them and Tirav had saved Valaria Saloo VII since then, and the dreams that Vilarna has been experiencing about Tirav have also been increasing.
It is true that the Dohans need to procreate if they are to survive and the only way, they are able to do this is to mate with humans as the are very well matched and stand a greater chance of success with some of their dominant traits being passed on to the offspring which is important.
I do not want to spoil the plot or the characters for readers so will recommend the book and say that like me you will not be able to put it down until you reach the end, then you will be left looking forward to the next book. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Possessive Alien’s Mate: Fated Mates of the Thaana Book 1 By Luna Hunter Kindle unlimited purchase Thiray and Viliana's story. Thiray saves Viliana life. It seems like this is a spin-off of another series I wish authors would take the time to let readers know the order a series AND spin-offs should be read. Because of this I was a little lost getting into the book but as I got into it I got past that and was able to enjoy the story. Human females are universal breeders — they can mate with almost every alien species out there and deliver healthy babies. So we are not safe. Possessive Alien's Mate Dominant Alien's Mate
Here we go! Luna Hunter is giving us another great alien series. We met these characters in the last series (Dohan Warriors). Thiray and Viliana met briefly in that series where he saved her life, but that was all it took. We learn more about his species and what their role in the universe is. This is a very interesting concept and one I haven't read about before. I think we've got another winner series on our hands. I can't wait to see what comes next!
not terrible, but not great either. i feel as if i am missing a massive chunk of the story. thi seems ok,viliana is an unusual name. the world building is a little weak, and the plot is lightning quick, but not very satisfying. i do like thi's relation, but i don't like any of the other girls,ESPECIALLY S.........
It's picks up where Dohan left off the main characters were from the last Dohan book and new characters were added to spice it up a bit loved it n I w to the next one
I always enjoy a good guardian alien story and this one delivers. To have really honourable good guys in the side of humans and even the desperate Dohan is uplifting!
Thiray is from a species that does not intermix with outsiders. Viliana is from earth working with the Dohan to bring females to help repopulate. But what a story! Enjoy
