Everyone deserves a second chance. Unless, of course, you leave your true love at the altar… then you deserve to be cursed.
Omega actor Kai Carroll has it all: money, fame, popularity… everything except love. He was betrayed by the man he thought was his true love years ago, and he swears he will never love again. When the tabloids explode with scandal, Kai finds himself kicked to the curb. Jobless, friendless… unless you count the borderline harassment he gets from his number-one fan—which he doesn’t. Turns out, the perfect life he worked so hard for is nothing more than a mirage. When his agent calls with a mysterious offer to act in a play in Valleywood, he has no choice but to accept the role. What does he have to lose… right?
Alpha shifter Daniel Agassi lost everything eight years ago, and he swears he doesn’t know how it happened. There he was, just minding his own business, living his best life, when out of nowhere—BAM!—he found himself stuck in his cat form. He couldn’t shift back to tell his true love, Kai, that he never intended to leave him at the altar. And since then, he’s been trapped, without any way to send word. Instead, he’s been a pissed-off pet for almost a decade. When the spell is finally broken, his only goal is to reconnect with Kai. The only problem? The omega is no longer the man he used to be. Then again, the same could be said for Daniel.
Encore is book 2 of the highly anticipated multi-author series, Valleywood, a bustling city struggling with its hold on magic. Encore is a drama-filled mpreg romance featuring a grumpy cat shifter who's tired of being caged, an omega who swears he's done with love, and a second-chance love affair years in the making.
Trisha Linde spends all her time immersed in books, both reading and writing, mainly because she lives where it’s too cold to do anything else, and what better way to keep warm than with a hot book. The first time she read mpreg, it was love at first sight, and there’s no turning back now.
When she gets older, she will likely invite strangers over for dinner, and you can bet your ass there will be sequins.
This was book 2 in the "Valleywood" series. Omega actor Kai Carroll had it all until a rumor spread that he was sleeping with his married director. Kai is stuck in his house in Hollywood he can't go out because the press is hounding him. When he gets an offer to do a play in Valleywood he jumps at the chance to get away. Alpha shifter Daniel Agassi lost everything when someone put a curse on him and he stuck in cat form for eight years he was a house cat. Turns out we met him in "Vale Valley" he was Pierce and Finns cat. Daniel is the director of the play Kai is in in fact he wrote it based on there life and what happened to them. This was a pretty good read. Kai can't believe that Daniel is back and he didn't believe him when he told him what happened. Daniel has a benefactor who wires money to his account to help get the theatre up and running. This book had some funny scenes in it like Kai hotel was a dump turns out it was the wrong hotel. I have read this author before. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
A curse, a star and a God walk into a Theatre... the Apollo Theatre.
This is one wonderful, sexy, magical romp. Welcome back to Valleywood, Vale Valley's sister city. Yes, there is a curse, a God, magic, shifters, witches and a kidnapping. There are also loyal friends, laughter, and second chances. I was swept up in the backstage details of staging a production. But most of all I was swept into Kai and Daniel's lives. (Read blurb here) You will love the reawakening of their attraction, the redemption, forgiveness, and hope. The sexy times are so hot, get your fan ready. Kai takes center stage. Daniel takes the rest of the cast to their own form of stardom. And the play takes them both on a journey to HEA. Ooh. And the enigmatic Stanley is a hot to be around. You are gonna love this book! Encore! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Omega actor Kai Carroll had a successful career, but he had given up on love 8 years ago. He was betrayed by the man loved, left at the altar, and no longer willing to give love a chance to break his heart again. But when scandal causes Kai to lose his job, he is forced to accept an offer to act in a play in Valleywood.
Alpha shifter Daniel Agassi was cursed 8 years ago. He was trapped in his cat form with no way to communicate and let Kai know what had happened. He would never have left Kai, but he was helpless to fix this. But now, the curse has broken and he wants Kai back in his life. But Kai is an angry man right now. Can Daniel find a way to get Kai to listen to what happened? Even more important, can he convince Kai to believe his story and come back to him?
Kai and Daniel were foiled on their wedding day by a spell that cursed Daniel to stay shifted in the form of a cat and made it seem as if he deserted his true love when he did not willingly. He was trapped for several years until one of his "owners" realized something was amiss and brought in help to break the spell. Daniel has his work cut out for him getting Kai back, which he really wants. Unfortunately, he does not have all of the answers about what happened. Their encore does come with lots of drama, literally, attached. This was cute.

This was a different storyline altogether, so that was a great thing. But, so many questions, too little information! Who is Apollo? Why did he help Daniel? Who was Cam, really, besides Kai's biggest stalker and psycho, and what was his background?
I did enjoy Kai being undecided and skeptical about Daniel's explanation, but he should have checked it out first. So many missing details, like how did Daniel just drop out of existence? No one looked for him! Three stars, that could've been more with less holes in the story.
I’ve had this book for a while and wanted a quick, and hopefully enjoyable read. Thankfully this story fulfilled that. The characters were great and the world was easy enough to follow even though I didn’t read the first book. Kai and Daniel had some good chemistry and spice, although I thought Kai should have made Daniel grovel longer. All in all a lovely read and I’d definitely be down to reading more from this series.
This is the second book and my first for me in this series Valleywood. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to read something else. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and have a great connection. A great second chance at love for these characters.
The day Daniel was suppose to marry Kai someone put a curse on him and he was trapped in his shifted form of a cat. Eight years later the curse was broken and he planned to get Kai back. When Daniel gets face to face with Kai, Kai wants an explanation but when he gets it he didn't believe it. Daniel won't give up and he will do anything yo get Kai back. I really enjoyed this book.
Caught up in a rumor mill, Omega Kai takes on a role and a chance to escape the drama that had consumed his life. Alpha Daniel is also in a precarious situation. Cursed to remain in his cat form, which he was for eight years. After eight years of trying to forget the man who left you at the altar, only to have a rumor send you packing, is hard enough. No the man Kai never stopped loving was back in his. Daniel tries to explain what happened to him on their wedding day. Building trust won't be easy but what does either man have to lose, but one another... again.

While this book was nothing like I expected, I just loved it. Kai was much sweeter and more vulnerable than I assumed he would be and Daniel was an absolute doll! Yes, its a paranormal romance with witches, shifters and magic but it wasn't dark at all. Instead this was a true second chance love story that I enjoyed very much.
This was such a cute story. I was so disappointed when I heard that the Vale Valley series was ending so I am really happy that now we have Valleywood. This was a great second chance story. I loved the characters and really enjoyed the story.
Enjoyable read full of action and mystery. A cursed shifters, ani actor and a stalker. Lots of action and emotions flying around. Enjoyable and relaxing read.

I love reading books that incorporate a modern take on mythological gods. Add in a shifter cat and theatre, and I was hooked. This was a great second chance romance filled with fun characters, magic, and love.
I enjoyed this story. It's a shorter book. So when it comes to certain events, things are kind of glossed over. Which doesn't bother me but I know some readers complain about things like this. I don't feel like it took anything away.
Well written story and well developed characters! Daniel disappeared on their wedding day! He just ghosted Kai! What happened? Where did he go and why??
