"HONESTLY, SOMETIMES JUST PUTTING YOUR PANTS ON IS ENOUGH" IS A SELF HELP BOOK FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO TRANSFORM THEIR ENTIRE LIFE, BUT SIMPLY WANT TO GO TO BED FEELING LIKE THEY AREN'T WASTING THEIR TIME ALIVE.
In this "hey, some people don't want a brand new life, they're just kind of stuck right now" take on a self-help book, first-time author Sara Lash shares insightful and sustainable advice to appeal to a generation who understands that the never-ending pursuit of perfection is both toxic and unattainable, while gently nudging them into a better life. Peppered throughout with real life anecdotes and a healthy dose of humor, by the end of this book, you will have many tools to help yourself inch closer and closer to a life you love, or realize that you were there all along... you just needed to tear down the idea of what a beautiful life should look like.
This was such a fun book. With the toxic self-help genre of books, Lash gives us a realistic view of what helping yourself looks like. I love the view of just being okay with one goal completed for the day, even if you had ten, instead of changing your entire life and hating yourself if you failed. Life should be lived, not survived. That’s the message in this fantastic book. Highly recommend everyone to read this book!
