On the same train to Nashville to meet Slade, Beast Boy and Raven meet each other for the first time.

More of an advert for the graphic novel than a self contained chapter, it at least does the job of piquing reader's interest.

Właściwie jest to recenzja wersji z miękką okładką, która ma prawie 200 stron...

Garcia prowadzi swoją serię w zdecydowanie dobrym kierunku, z odsłony na odsłonę stając się zdecydowanie czymś lepszym. I choć Beast Boy kocha Raven to dosyć sztampowa historia, to siła tytułu tkwi w szczegółach.

Rachel Roth oraz Garfield Logan. Dwójka bohaterów, która miała swoje solowe odsłony, wreszcie się spotyka. W miasteczku Nashville, gdzie punkt zborny zrobił dla nich niejaki Slade. Od razu wiadomo, że coś tu nie gra, ale nasi jeszcze niedoświadczeni herosi muszą sobie najpierw poradzić z trudem bycia nastolatkiem. I wychodzi im to nieźle.

Początkowa relacja jest naprawdę zabawna, ale los potem zepnie ich ścieżki nieco mocniej. Zaczną spędzać ze sobą więcej czasu i zacznie się między nimi rodzić uczucie. Szkopuł w tym, że każde ma za sobą jakieś historie i mimo, że to widać i czuć, to oboje pozostawiają swoją przeszłość dla siebie. Oczywiście na tyle długo, na ile się da.

Jednocześnie organizacja dla, której pracuje Slade, ma własne plany na naszą dwójkę i zaczyna je realizować. Dla fanów raczkującej serii mam dobrą wiadomość. Do ekipy Teen Titans, która ewidentnie się rozrośnie dołączy przybrana siostra Raven, która rozmawia z duchami oraz zupełnie nowa postać, która może wzbudzić kontrowersje ze względu na wygląd, ale w końcu czas dorosnąć i cieszę się, iż ta postać tu jest. Trochę odmienna charakterem, ale zawsze.

Kreska. Gabriel Picolo ma już opanowany warsztat, który fajnie kontrastuje z postaciami. Im więcej Raven tym więcej fioletu, jak więcej Gara to troszeczkę więcej zieleni. Mały zabieg, ale starczy, aby nadać całości unikalnego klimatu. Dlatego też całość wygląda naprawdę dobrze. I starczy, abym czekał na kolejny tytuł z fabryki Garcia-Picolo.

من به عنوان استراحت خوندمش و حقیقتا توقع زیادی هم ازش نداشتم و فقط می خواستم یه چیزی خونده باشم !
ولی خوشحالم که خوندمش چون برای کسایی که مثل من تین تایتانا رو دوست دارن و ریون و بیست بوی رو خیلی شیپ می کنن چیز قشنگیه 🥲🫴🏻
برای من که تجربه ی لذت بخشی بود شما رو نمی دونم..
در کل از نظرم چهار ستاره براش مناسبه یه چیز کاملا متوسط که نه خیلی شاهکار باشه و نه خیلی معمولی :)
حالا بقیه ی جلداش رو هم می خونم و نظر قطعیم رو می گم 🫶🏻

Though I love fantasy and I love comics, I'm not particularly a superheroes reader/fan... until they're teens. Ha! I love some Runaways and Teen Titan vibes, and it seems like fantastic authors also love to take them on. Eleanor, my daughter, actually picked this one up at the library and I gave it a read. So charming. So well illustrated. So teen-awkward-romance with two of my favorite ever characters.

Aah Teen Titans and already did a paragraph rant about how much I hate Teen Titans

Soap opera pointless drama and characters you will want dead a few months down the road. Teen Titans always had to many characters that never do anything and the soap opera pacing means they will drag the story line for years and someone will be crying because they'll find their love of their life has written xoxo on someone else's birthday card.

This was just a preview of the Beast Boy Loves Raven book. I don't usually read previews but it was free. I will be reading the full book. Good preview if you haven't decided whether to check out the book or not, but reading the first two books in the series will also help you decide that and are a must before moving on to this one.

I enjoyed this book, this book. It made me feel happy, but it was so… short? And despite the panels being massive and something happening almost nothing really happened at the same time. Would have enjoyed to see more quality time between the two rather than, “Oh yay we beat the bad guy, now we like each other!” Kinda lame.

Opens with Raven on a train in Tennessee.

She is quite the emo chick. One of her pieces of jewelry has an interesting story.

Unbeknownst to Raven, her foster sister has followed her onto the train.

Meanwhile, Beast Boy (?) has just learned that his parents have been deceiving him.

Now, both he and Raven are on their way to meet the mysterious Slade.

The two do run into each other, but it’s not exactly the meet-cute BB was hoping for.

I would definitely buy this title. Excellent story. DC has so much great stuff going on right now. It’s almost like they’re what Marvel used to be when they took over the top spot from DC. Very nice preview issue

I love Raven and Beast boy's relationship so much been a fan since I was obsessed with Teen Titans .
I need to get more into their comics and it has always been so funny to me how Beast boy's a vegetarian but it makes sense though 🤔
