22M reads and I don't see the hype. This might be a quick go for smut but... nothing else fascinated me tbh. Many others may find Dominic and Caitlin dynamic to be romantic but not me.
Firstly, Dominic and Caitlin met at a bar, had a life changing one night stand thinking it's a one time thing but guess what? They co-incidently get thrown into each others lives. The connection in their lives could have been brought about in a much better way but I thought it was just lazy writing. After just a one night stand, two people who frequently have sex with other people fall in love with each other immediately. There is no tension, no development, no progress, just immediate unconditional love. And SORRY NOT SORRY I DID NOT FEEL THE CHEMISTRY. THEIR LOVE, THEIR DYNAMIC, THEIR CHEMISTRY EVERYTHING FELT FORCED.
This book has no plot, no twists, no climax, no backstory, no emotional development that would make me care about the characters. There were a few minor surprises thrown here and there which really didn't matter or blew my mind away and not to mention how random the ending was. It clearly was done just to make the climax interesting in any way possible which again is a major example of how lazy the writing in this book was. The plot consists of just them having back to back sex and talking about what they think is their "love" in their inner monologue. It gets super dull and boring.
Talking about smut, well I have read better. That's all I gotta say. It was decent but not a panty dropping, earth shattering experience for me. I mean if I want a smut experience, I would rather re-read certain of my favourite wattpad books that have much more sexy smut with much better plot, script and dialogues.
Definitely disappointed and did not mark up to my expectations at all. One of those another super-overhyped bland wattpad books.

OMG!!! I JUST READ ONE OF THE BEST WATTPAD BOOKS IN JUST HALF A DAY!!! this was so fucking good i dont even know what to say about it.
it wasn't super long and i didn't even mind. it has like 35 chapters or so and i think it's perfect if you want just a quick read. and I'm telling you it's worth it.
i love Caitlin. omg she is one of the most badass characters i ever read about. she's the type of woman who could kill without a flinch of her eye.
Dominic. omg he's hot asf. i love how he has a soft spot just for her and his family. OMG AND I LOVE THE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS BROTHER YURIK. it's so cute how he would do ANYTHING for Caitlin. and i mean ANYTHING.
my fav is Yurik. idk what to say. he's just the funny, sarcastic side character. everyone love those. plus he's gay 😩😜
tbh i felt like crying at the end. first i was sad. ifykyk. but then i was happy asf. this book was hot asf. and the smut scenes, omg they were so good it's not even possible

I honestly loooved this book sm💓it lowkey was wattpadish but it still was a 4.75⭐️ read! Dominic fucking owns me. He is so mf hot but the mc caitlyn (aka angel according to Dominic) WAS 10x hotter😩🦋

August 13, 2024I've been a reader of onlyshannon on wattpad for years now. I did not even know her stories were here on goodreads and I really wanna reco her books so damn much haha. Her stories were on wattpad, safe with no cheating. Kinda forget if they have no ow / om drama though. She has one book with a virgin MMC who is a tattoo artist. Her FMCs were strong too, and matches the freak level of their MMCs. I just remembered having girl crushes on this author's FMCs haha. Hot smut too phew! 🥵🥵🥵 absolutely, FOR ME they were decent written!! Well, I am gonna reread all her books right now and just edit this and attach my reviews on all her books!!! she is actually a gem FOR ME.

I do not think everyone will like it. It depends. there were some noticeable cringey scenes tbh. I am not that bothered by the om/ow drama because I feel like it was written for the sake of having an im/owd. But kinda rolled my eyes on it TBH.
OMD - there is this blake guy who was the fl's past hook-up that showed up in her apartment while both her and the
ml were there.
OWD - past hook-up appeared in front of the ml's house. yapping about how he likes morning sex. He made her leave. and on the other time, she messaged the ML bc it was his birthday asking him on date and to do the deed after and sending him i think nvdes. the heroine sees it.
Both talked about briefly when they lost their virginities. mentions of past sexual history on monologue throughout the story {not a lot}
Tamed jealousy on the ML's side tbh haha. He was a mafia boss and his right hand‽ or managing along with him was his gay brother. The brother persuaded the heroine to accept the mission of seducing this specific guy to get information. {basically, the FL's brother had a huge debt towards the ML and his brother, the FL is broke too so she accepted}
He let the FL go into a mission where she needs to seduce the guy to get information. the guy kisses and touches her and she let him {for the info but she said she was so disgusted} so this I considered an OM2. He did get jealous and ignored her.
Not my favorite out of her books. This is definitely at the bottom of my ranking of her novels. Will recommend? not really!!! But you might wanna give this a try. I do love the FMC though. I have a crush on both of the leads tbh but more on the female lead

Decepcionada completamente. Nada más para decir. Esperaba un poco más del libro y la relación entre Dominic y Caitlin. Esperaba más desarrollo de la relación, hay muchas cosas que pasan sin razón alguna. Lo único bueno fue del capítulo 1 al 3.

la pareja es genial me encanto. ameeee que dominic sea un softie. literal es un osito cariñosito que se hace el machito. amamos.
caitlin reina al final me tuvo sonriendo como una pelotuda. (lucas hijo de puta)
yurik <3. pasame por encima, gracias. lo amo con todo lo que soy. igual aguanten yurik y micah. ame que no parecian forzados para nada. se notaba que no los puso de relleno.
respeto por la escritora que en junio puso un mensaje diciendo feliz mes del orgullo para todos, salidos o enclosetados.
por ultimo, estaba muy pero muy bien escrito para ser de wattpad. creo que conte cinco errores en todo el libro y las expresiones que tenia eran de otro nivel (especialmente las de ejem, iykyk)
en conclusion, es buenisimo, se lee rapido y el romance es spicy y cute al mismo tiempo (osea perfecto).

Okay in all honesty, although the book was good there was no climax or plot twists. It was just the story of two people meeting at a bar and falling in love in first sight, and spending numerous nights together. There wasn't even an introduction, Catalina and Dominic are just thrown into what they think is 'love'. Dominic approaches Catalina, they share a few words and go back home to have sex and not too long after, they're claiming that they are falling for each other. The story doesn't develop much, it's just the two having lots of sex and being nice. There's a few minor plot twists but they weren't extreme. It was kind of boring, just watching them have sex over and over. The relationship progressed too quickly for me to enjoy it but other than that it's a nice book

This whole book was so good except for the end. It would’ve been four stars for me but now it’s 2
Lets start that randomly in the end her mother sets her up with her ex boyfriend. The whole book was so good but this felt so randomly thrown in. I don’t like this cliche and this felt out of touch with the whole story.
Then Caitlin got pregnant. Twice. Right at the end. I hate it when authors put random things in their story to make their end more exciting. I really wanted the ending focused on that Caitlin took over the empire and became mafia leader. That was way more fun and exciting to me :)
However I loved the rest of the story and the chemistry between Dominic and Caitlin was there from day one. I did like this book but just got really frustrated with the end!

i read this when it was first released. and i've probably reread this a bunch of times already.
i absolutely loved caitlin and dominic, for a wattpad book. there's nothing more to be said. they have chemistry, they like each other and i really enjoyed how their story was presented.

I absolutely love the chemistry between Caitlin and Dominic, they are definitely soulmates. They are the definition of a healthy relationship as they communicate effectively, support each other, respect boundaries and Caitlin isn’t treated as inferior just for being a women, in fact Caitlin fights against that notion.
However, the plot was weak, it was very simple which made it kinda boring. I feel it lacked conflict which could have added depth into the mafia storyline

I really don't know how to rate short stories but this one was good. The mc is so strong and powerful.
I'm happy for the sequel about the side characters.

I loved The way the book was so freaking healthy despite having mafia man as a lead. There's honestly not much to plot, I believe but a gripping chemistry between them that drives the reader forward.
I love how badass Caitlin is and How dominant our lead are.
Plus, the gun scene, if you know had my heart at it!

there wasn't really a plot, just the two mmcs that meet boink a lot, have a couple of unexpected connections. It passed the time. bonus, he was down for her bad, tiny ow drama, tiny om drama, no double standards here. I'd call this mafia lite all the clichés filled wattpad word salad. meh, it passed the time. 🤷♀️

crying over how cute dom & caitlin are. i loved them so much and caitlin was literally the best book female ever. miss author pulled a not so funny joke at the end but thank god that’s all it was. glad i found this beautiful book.
