Naughty in Pendleton #4

Flipping the Switch

Rate this book
A silver fox Dom, a sweet sub, and a feisty switch: could three be the perfect number?

Logan Shaw is a divorced dominant with a bag full of toys and no one to play with. He loves the construction company he built from the ground up, but he’s been longing for a submissive to make his life complete.

Tony Christensen hates running the family towing business but his father's illness left him in charge of the company with no time to follow his dreams or find a Dom to love and praise him.

On the surface, chef Jude Maddox leads a charmed life, but his restaurant renovation is a mess and he can't seem to find another switch to make his kinky dreams come true. Jude is smitten with the perfect sub he met through a kinky hook up app, but he knows he can't be the full time Dom Tony needs. When he meets a sexy older dominant on that same app, he never dreams it's his father's best friend—or what it will mean for the three of them.

As a switch, Jude can finally indulge in both sides of himself. Logan has two subs to guide, tease, and torment. And Tony? He's about to get all the domination and praise he yearns for. But when their explosive chemistry turns to love, will what they've built together be strong enough to withstand the forces that would tear them apart?

Flipping the Switch contains a sweet cinnamon roll of a sub, scorching hot MMM scenes, impact play, praise kink, DP, and, a visit from everyone’s favorite, Grandma June.

4.5 “You deserve the best.” “That’s why I have you two” stars

Review to come later because I’m very much struggling with how to rate this book. I’ve been reading a lot of MMM books lately but i’m pretty sure this one would have to be my second favourite MMM book I have ever read.

I’m not sure if I want to round down my 4.5 stars because this book gave me the trope I dislike the most in books, the evil father …. twice, and I just didn’t really enjoy those scenes. And a lot of scenes focused on side characters which I just do not enjoy in books.

But then i’m not sure if I want to round up my 4.5 stars because this book gave me some of the hotest sex scenes I have ever read and there is a sex scene at 92% in this book that changed my life, dear god was it hot. And it gave me a fucking hot double penetration scene. And this was one of the most equal MMM I have ever read, everyone truly felt like they had their place and belonged in the relationship, I never felt like one of them shouldn’t have been there. Also one of the character in this book has a praise kink, which is just so good.

This is why we need half stars Goodreads!

I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

We met Jude in a previous book, and I will admit that I was NOT in any way, his biggest fan. He has totally redeemed himself in this story. We learned more about him and could begin to understand why he was the way he was in the book #2.

Then there was Tony. He was just the sweetest guy and so patient with his father's dementia. He was nearly worn down by life and it was so good to see him have the courage to come out of his shell and learn to fight for his happiness and the two guys that he loves and love him in return.

Logan was a wonderful character from the very beginning. He's the oldest of the trio and a friend of Jude's father. The younger two men draw him out and allow him to explore what and who he is meant to be as a Dom. This trio work perfectly together and I adored how well they balanced each other.

I have always loved "Grandma June" and hope she appears in future books! Actually, I hope they ALL appear again in future books. This was a really great story and a lovely end to the series...but I hope Brigham Vaughn doesn't let this be our last visit to Pendleton or the last we see of these characters.

While I can whole heartly recommend this series...the reader should be aware that the three books are heavy on the BDSM lifestyle which may not be for everyone.

the first MMM book I’ve ever enjoyed

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
- BDSM
- moderate SM

This book is first MMM that I felt I really enjoyed. Most of them have a hard time with character development and pacing because there are too many POVs but I enjoyed this. Also really enjoyable each character as individual and their group dynamic. Tony def won my heart. He’s a freaking muscly cinnamon roll and I love that. Their overall dynamic was hot and sweet as hell. These books are such good comfort reads and have a pretty realistic portrayal of kink in a relationship.

This book is SO HOT and such a well done MMM. I absolutely adored every character in their own unique way. I just love this series and plan to actually get them all in print. I don’t do that often! One tiny little niggle and something I feel like I need to go back and read to see if I missed it, is that there is no on page penetrative sex scene between Logan and Tony. I was paying attention because in my MMM books I like equality across the board, even in D/s relationships… and this didn’t happen between them. Maybe I should look again? Lol. Either way it’s not a big enough of a deal to make me rate it lower. It’s a beautiful and sexy as hell book. I know Brigham is done with this series but I cannot wait to see what’s next from her.

ETA: I went through the sex scenes because I knew it would make me crazy if I didn’t confirm it. Logan and Tony never had on page penetrative sex and I hate that I’m this way but that’s a big thing for me when it comes to equality in a written poly relationship. I adjusted my stars because it’s just something I need as a reader. :-/

3.5 - DNF @87% though cuz I felt like it was just dragging and nothing particularly notable seemed like it was on the horizon. Not a "I hate it" DNF, I just got the point that I felt done before the book did 😆

Steam: 3.5/5 - There's a lot of it and it's not bad, there was just something missing for me. I think there's lots of potential for others to like it though.

Romance: 3/5 - Eh, it's there. Again, just something missing for me.

Plot: 4/5 - I loved the idea of the triad but Jude always felt more like a sub to me than a Dom even though him being a switch is such a focus of the story. There were a few things that seemed too convenient or wrapped up too prettily to be realistic. I think I like my characters with a few more flaws that they're struggling with. These 3 guys seemed right on the cusp of being perfect and all their lives needed was a moment of grit and *poof* flawless and successful life, ta-da!

Rereadable: Nah, not for me.

Continuing with author: I'd be willing to give them another shot, there was a lot about this book I did like. I think I'd be going in a little hesitantly since I DNF the only other book by them that I've read and that one annoyed the crap outta me early on. I believe one of their series has some meddling grandmas who overstep a lot and I'm not too keen on that type of plot device so I'll be skipping those.

I have been enjoying this series, but this wasn't my favorite. I'm just not a fan of MMM books. The author did a really good job of making sure Tony, Logan and Jude were all equally involved in the relationship, but I just didn't feel the connection, despite all the times they said "I love you". Even though I loved Tony, I wish he had had his own story and that this book was just about Logan and Jude.

I didn't like the way Jude's parents were portrayed.

There were some hot and kinky BDSM scenes. The two-sided wood paddle Tony made was put to good use. So was the St. Andrew's cross.🔥

a very balanced mmm

I wasn’t sure if Jude could win me over but he did. The dynamic he had with Tony and Logan was fab. They each needed one another. It made for a very believable mmm relationship.

It was a very sexy book. It was also very romantic and sweet in parts. I love an age gap story too. Highly recommend this book and series.

Like, I started reading this book knowing that it was a tryad relationship, but it wasn't just for me. Tony felt like the third wheel the whole time, Logan and Jude had their own world, their own chemistry that it was perfect and Tony just felt lost in the situation.

What a brilliant way to finish the series! Tony and Jude are characters that we've come across in previous books but just on the fringe. This time they get their own HEA with the added bonus of a silver fox Dom in the form of Logan, father of a friend of Jude's.
The way that the three men come together feels really natural. Jude calls Logan for help when he runs into trouble setting up his restaurant. Staying in Pendleton for a while, Logan looks to explore his Dom side and ends up connecting online with a switch who is happy to direct as well as submit. Such a happy surprise when they realise who they are to each other. Tony is brought in as a submissive who Jude already plays with but as a switch, he could never fully give Tony what he needs. One sub, one switch and one Dom does a happy triad make. It starts out as a chance for Logan to develop his skills and everyone to come away happy but with them all spending time together, in and out of the bedroom, and an increasingly strong connection, it's not long before stronger emotions become involved.
I love how things develop for each of the men. Each has things going on - Logan stepping away from his busy business, Jude setting up his restaurant and an ongoing battle with his father, Tony has been looking after his father his and business but longs to work on his own passion. They all bring their own positive aspects to the relationship and balance each other, no one is overbearing or taking precedence over another. All you feel from them is heat, care and eventually love.
It's a great story of allowing yourself to be happy, whatever path that happens to be on and with whomever makes your heart full of love. The BDSM aspects are well written with consent and safety paramount.
A recommended read and a really wonderful series overall.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Omg, I absolutely love Flipping the Switch! The fourth book in the Naughty in Pendleton series by Brigham Vaughn, I couldn't put it down.

From the start, I was riveted by this menage romance.

First, I love each of these men. Both individually and together. The dynamics when the three of them come together is freaking amazing.

Jude is an amazingly complex character who's the middle between Logan and Tony. Jude is a switch whose needs aren't easily met. After a long time of being with Tony at times, he can't have anything permanent with just Tony. Enter Logan. Gah! Love it.

This is the tale of Logan learning to be a Dom from Jude, as Jude can help work him through the roles of a Dom. With Tony being a sub, both men can take the Dom role at times, helping Jude to finally find a way to meet all his needs.

Each character is complex and the roles they contribute multi-layered. I love the way the three come together and find their way. It's all wonderfully done and I couldn't get enough of this trio.

Their trio is based on the needs of each not being met easily, and the communication is key. Each man has an important role in this trio, with all of them needed to complete the needs of each man.

These men are freaking hot together. I absolutely love them.

Flipping the Switch is a fabulous menage romance. Everything about this Brigham Vaughn book worked for me. It's emotional, it's sweet, and it has plenty of heat. This is an automatic addition to my re-read list.

Each of these characters has had problems in their lives and now trying to find what they want and have a life that is worth having. Jude is trying to get his restaurant up and going he calls Logan a family friend to help and he is involved with Tony to get his Dom side taken care of. When a hookup app has Logan showing up at Jude’s to play with him and Tony their relationship drives into the all they ever wanted.

I did receive an Arc for a review.

Perfectly paced and a wonderful bringing together of three men into a poly dynamic. Brigham balanced the BDSM needs with the poly needs brilliantly in my opinion and the story came together around these elements seamlessly. These relationships could not have been easy to write but as a reader, I found myself eagerly soaking up each page without questioning the dynamic because of how well written it is. Great characters and a engaging storyline brings it all together in a gripping read.

This is so much more than anything I expected. Jude was such a villain in book 3. It was fascinating to see him as a complete character, and grow and evolve. This trio balanced each other out so well, and supported each other so well, it made me give the happy sigh.

MMM is always a struggle for me but I actually enjoyed how the author drew the development of the relationship. I also liked how jealousy and feeling neglected was not only mentioned but also discussed and solved in between the couple. What I actually disliked was the drama in the end.

Flipping the Switch explores the almost accidental relationship between a new Dom, a gentle sub, and the outgoing switch who offers to help them both gain confidence. Jude is new to Pendleton Bay, and his fresh start is not going well. Despite angering his ex and getting the short end of a renovation contract, he has a good, though casual, thing going with Tony. When his father's friend offers to help with the renovations, the three men wind up seeing each other both professionally and personally. I really enjoyed how the three men came together on the business side of things. Their personalities shine when they are discussing what they're each passionate about. I had more trouble with the relationship development and the personal issues that each of the men dealt with, though I suspect that may be because there are three perspectives in this story and that limits the time spent with each character overall. I wanted just a bit more to believe that leap from a casual exploration-based relationship to a committed emotional one. The writing is excellent and the characters themselves are engaging, and overall this is an enjoyable read.

I love mmm+ so I try pretty much any that I can find with an interesting premise. I liked the idea of a Dom, a Sub and a Switch finding their way together, both in kink and in life. This book worked well enough, but it didn't wow me.

Pros: The three men felt like separate people which sometimes doesn't happen when there are more than two people in a romance book. Kink was represented well, IMO. They talked about consent and limits and respecting boundaries and keeping lines of communication open. The guys went from hookups to lovers and started helping each other outside of the bedroom as well (right away with Logan and Jace obviously).

Cons: The writing was sometimes really wordy. Scenes and conversations were over-explained. It sometimes felt really cliche, and even though we got a little of each of their struggles, the story was pretty surface. I didn't feel super connected to any of them.

Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't anything groundbreaking.

A good end to the series but sad it is the last one - read on KU

How you rate these books depends on how you view them. Are they erotica with a relationship thrown in? Or are they romances with bdsm thrown in? I think it is the latter but I reviewed them from two standpoints.

From an erotica standpoint, they could actually use more "scenes." This one did at least have a strong scene at the end. At least one other one in this series had the heat peter out a little over half way, so this one kept the heat level up. The scenes were a bit creative. I think I would have enjoyed this part of the book more if I had spread out reading this series like I had originally intended to do.

With erotica, it's hard to find books with hot scenes that also have a good story line that doesn't feel forced, fake, unrealistic, or cliche. This book does have a good story from that standpoint. It isn't a cheesy story, either and is even a bit unique. I haven't read many all male triad romances. Probably less than 5. The ones I have read definitely fell into that rushed, unrealistic category or didn't have much of a story at all. So, for a story that is meant to get us in between hot spots, I give it a 5.

Looking at the book in the other light, as a romance with some bdsm scenes, I would probably give the book about 2.5 stars. If you took out the erotic content, this story would be dull. There isn't much excitement. This book is the best of the 4 at showing instead of telling but there is still a lot of telling. It keeps the books shorter and makes them move faster but it isn't a good way to write a romance. It's hard to build emotions without seeing the characters go through those things instead of just telling us about it.

We get the most back story from Jude. He seems to be the focal point. I actually wasn't sure I wanted to read a book about Jude or Tony. They both behaved badly in former books and were kind of painted as the bad guys in the relationships they had with former MCs. Both of them felt bad for their actions and apologized. Donovan had made a bigger issue that he and Jude just weren't right for each other but he still came across as pushy, selfish, and a bit immature when he tried to get Donovan and Tyler to invite him into their relationship. Also when he tried to bring in a third person when it was just him and Donovan. I didn't get the impression Donovan was upset that he needed that but that he forced the issue too hard. So perhaps the best word for Jude is needy. Luckily, he does not behave in those same ways in this book.

I don't remember the details of Tony's relationship with Jarod but Tony was quite rude to Jarod and Forrest when they needed a tow truck. There was animosity between Tony and Jarod. However, Tony came across much differently in this book. He almost seemed innocent. And meek. He is in a bad situation living with his dad, who has a serious disease and can't live on his own. And his dad is pushing him to live his life like the dad pictured it instead of the way that Tony wants and the way that makes him happy. Jude's dad was the exact same way.

Jude and Tony were pretty much fighting the same battles. Their dad's thought the careers they wanted were stupid and beneath them. They both thought they would have financial problems as a result of following their dreams but Jude's dad was embarrassed by his son's career. At least Tony didn't have that. It was probably their fathers that made them behave poorly, but I think it was more understandable from Tony. He was miserable and lashed out at others. However, Jude had issues he probably should have seen a therapist for. His father had told him he wasn't good enough his whole life.

I think the author needs to tone down making secondary characters out to be bad guys if she plans to put them in later books.

From this author, if she doesn't move from telling, I'd rather see more steamy scenes. She writes those pretty well and there is all showing there. It's actually kind of funny. It is almost as if she is nervous about the story at the beginning of each book and TELLS us back stories in a boring manner. She also creates the world for the book in that telling. Once she is warmed up, it seems she shows a lot more and is more energetic in her writing.

All in all, I will probably come back to this series when I need some intimate inspiration. I will definitely read other books by her but will stick with the all male or bi stories. F/F stories and stories with men in lingerie are not for me.

4.5/5 ⭐

Flipping the Switch is the fourth book in Brigham Vaughn's Naughty in Pendleton series. It can be read as a complete standalone. Here's what you can expect from Logan, Tony, and Jude:

💛 MMM contemporary romance
💛 Third person triple point of view
💛 Guaranteed happily ever after
💛 Kink and polyamory
💛 A sweet cinnamon roll sub
💛 Father's best friend
💛 Impact play
💛 Praise kink
💛 Double penetration

As always, ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Flipping the Switch contains biphobia and family conflict. Please take care of yourself while reading.
“And here I thought you were an ethical man.”
“I think all that went out the window once I realized I wanted to fuck my best friend’s son,” Logan said with a growl.

I'll admit, I kind of put reading this book off because I really didn't like one of the main characters, Jude, in the last book - Made to Order. However, this book recommendation is what got me interested in the series and now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to read it because I think this has been my favourite in the series so far!

When it comes to polyamorous romances, I always say they're difficult to write and they're not everyone's cups of tea. I love reading about love in all it's shapes and forms, and I think the polyamory in this book coupled with the fantastic kink portrayal was extremely well done. The author did a great job of balancing all three characters wants and needs as they navigated their relationship with one another. Jude more than redeemed himself for his antics in Made to Order, and I really ended up loving his character by the end of the book. Logan was such a silver fox sweetheart, and he's certainly a memorable book boyfriend! And then there's Tony. Brigham did such an amazing job at reading the sweetest, most cinnamon roll sub character and I loved him so much. I think I'd die for Tony, not to be dramatic. We actually briefly met Tony in Embracing His Shame, but it was clear he was much better suited to his relationship with Jude and Logan.

Once again, I commend Brigham on her portrayal of kink in a safe and healthy light. We explore new dynamics in Flipping the Switch, and we watch the characters go through the highs and lows of their relationship together. Seeing the characters use their safewords (in this case, the traffic light system) and learn to communicate with one another was great. I really liked Jude finally being able to embrace his role as a switch. It's hard to believe he was ever in a relationship with strict roles before, because he flourished as the story continued. The angst in this book focused more on family drama than it did on relationship drama, but I was content with the way everything worked out. And of course, as with the rest of the series, the spice in this book was sizzling! If you like your romances intertwined with kink, I highly recommend this series!
“We could do the exact same act, but for you, it might be an act of service, while for me, it’s caring for you because you’re my responsibility. It’s all in your mindset and how you approach it mentally.”

WOW, this book is the ONE. I was unsure how I would feel about this story because it was about Jude, but this was my favorite one out of the series. I wish I had bought it when it was on sale.
If you could tell me I would find a kink story with so much love and sweetness and some hot kink, and it's an equal-loving poly relationship, I would have said send it my way, and this would be the book.

The story follows Jude, an ex-of MC from the 3rd series, and his relationship with Logan and Tony. All three of these characters were so well written and so sure of themselves and what they wanted from each other. I loved how Jude was fun and a little chaotic but had depth. I loved how Logan gave strong confidence to everything he did, including loving Jude and Tony. I loved how Tony was a sweet cinnamon roll but still stood up for himself and what he wanted out of life. They all three fit together perfectly and had great conversations about what they all wanted from their relationship and expressed any doubts they may have. They fought for their love and lives, which was so special to read. One of my favorite things about this book was how well they communicated with each other, for example, Tony had a very bad experience with someone who hurt him in a scene. Jude and Logan both respected how Tony felt about whips and pain, and when Tony used his safeword, he was listened to and respected, and then they had a solid follow-up conversation. I could not put this book down, and I did not want it to end, it was about 400ish pages, and I comfortably had no problem going through the book. The smallest, tiniest issue was at the beginning of the book, the names were mismatched, for example, Jude was talking but would say, "Logan said," but Logan was not in the scene. I moved passed it because it does not matter to me, but I know it bothers some people. I also loved how the characters from the previous books made appearances, Grandma June and Jared (even though I am not a big fan of Jared, I digress).

This is now in my favorite categories, and if you were to read any one of the books, you need to read this one.

Not every character is redeemable, and I was less than impressed with Jude after the previous book. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, so I was more than willing to give Vaughn the benefit of the doubt and give this story a try. I appreciate that Jude is up-front from the beginning about regretting the way he acted toward his ex and that the plot does not revolve around him coming to that conclusion. Instead, this story is about three men with very specific needs and desires coming together to have them met, then falling in love along the way.

Of course, as the man “in the middle,” this gives Jude an entirely new opportunity for angst. Logan and Tony do their best to support him through his various issues. In fact, it feels like most of the book is Jude being supported through his problems. Jude and Logan also do their part to help Tony work through his character development, but that is much more fulfilling than Jude being a bit of a spoiled brat. And though Tony might be the “cinnamon roll” of the trio, it’s Logan who’s a little too perfect. He’s a great character, but he doesn’t get much development beyond finally getting the romance he deserves.

The spiciness between these three men is delicious, but I didn’t always understand the directions taken by the kinky elements took. For example, I enjoyed how Logan and Jude used their power dynamic to help Tony overcome past fears and push certain of his boundaries, but the guy makes it clear from day one that he’s not interested in pain. So, why is that one of the boundaries they keep pushing when masochist Jude is literally right there? I also wish that a little bit more time was spent focusing on Logan and Tony as an individual couple, even within their dynamic.

Overall, this is a satisfying romance involving three men who are perfect for each other if they are willing to fight for their dreams. While it might not be my favorite book of the series, it is not to be missed if you enjoyed the previous installments.

This trio didn't work for me. I felt like Jude was too self centered and a bit greedy. He was a pathetic switch. He was already dismissive of Tony (saw him as easily disposable and only wanted to meet up with him when he was horny) at the beggining but as soon as Logan came along, he basically ignored Tony. It was Logan who constantly reminded him to include Tony in the mix.

Logan felt like a great guy and a dom at first but I was quite disappointed that he didn't even bother to meet up with Tony outside of their kink meet-ups. Logan and Jude practically saw each other daily and got intimate together once without Tony. I also hated how they constantly left Tony on his own and would have their own conversations.

I felt bad for Tony. He was obviously a third wheel, a second thought. Quite annoying that Jude was the one that had to get jealous and be the one who felt like he was the third wheel. I do agree that the relationship would've been better if it was just Logan and Tony. They would've complemented each other well.

I don't know why but with Jude being a switch, he just garnered too much attention. I honeslty felt like he was more of a sub who just happen to be bossy/controlling in bed. He did not come off as a dom at all. He was mostly whiney the whole time. Plus it seemed like he would've easily choosen Logan over Tony if it ever came to it. He was always excited with Logan but somewhat lukewarm with Tony. Logan was quite lukewarm with Tony too. He did seem to care about Tony but I felt like he did that more out of responsibility as a dom. They both didn't seem to genuinely love Tony. I also felt like Tony had the most growth out of them all if not only.

I skimmed through most of the sex scenes towards the end of the book when I realized Tony was a bit of a third wheel. Someone else's comment confirmed that Logan never penetrated Tony which is a huge bummer and just proves that he really wasn't an equal. He would've been better off with his own partner/book. How dissapointing!

Flipping the Switch is the fourth installment in the Naughty in Pendleton series and wholly moly was it hot!! Brigham Vaughn, you have done it again. I love MMM romance especially if the characters are written with the chemistry they deserve. I will say this though, after reading Made to Order and Jude's part in that, I didn't know if I could get past how he acted. I really liked how he redeemed himself in this book and he was given a different outlook. There was a definite shift in his character and you could just see he just wanted love.

Jude has never been the son his father wanted. He didn't fit into the mold his father wanted him to be. He didn't want to run his father's company; he wanted to be a chef and own his own restaurant. When he begins to bring the dream to fruition, the company he hires to do the work doesn't do what they're hired to do, so he calls his father's best friend Logan to help him decide what to do. He hasn't seen Logan for quite some time and when he finally sees him, it's like he can't get enough of him. When he's not trying to open his restaurant, he hooks up on the M4M app. That's where he meets Tony. The thing is he can't give Tony everything he needs by himself, so he continues to look for someone who can. Jude doesn't know the man he connects with on the app is none other than Logan until Logan shows up at his house for the hookup. Logan is hesitant at first because of his relationship with Jude's father, but as he watches the other two men, Jude and Tony, doing a scene, he knows he can't hold back. The three of them continue to hook up and spend time together, but there's always that doubt in the back of Jude's mind if he's good enough for the other two men. The question is can he get over that doubt and love and be loved like he's meant to be?

I loved the chemistry between the three men and how they just played off of each other so much. My opinion is you either like MMM romance or you don't and in this case, I loved it! There was just enough BDSM that it wasn't overboard not to mention is really hot!! I would definitely recommend this book to all readers of MM romance.

I liked how much depth there is in this story-- in each of the characters, who are complex and complement each other in various ways, and in the relationship that they build, in which each has an integral role. For the most part, the complicated interpersonal dynamics between the three of them are built on communication and respect. Jude’s “switchiness” doesn’t end up with his dominant side completely subsumed into Logan’s, and all three of them are clear and honest with each other about what they need and what their limits are. The one possible exception to this would be Logan sometimes just taking control in everyday situations-- for example, with Jude’s family, when after promising to let Jude handle it, Logan ends up just steamrollering in and doing his own thing in a way that, to me at least, feels like undermining of Jude’s agency. This is more bug than feature though: you can tell Logan has good intentions, so while I didn’t love those moments, they were few and far between and they didn’t, overall, sour the reading experience or my understanding of them as a unit. Logan and Jude are both great characters--Jude with his passion, drive, and playfulness, Logan with his nurturing intensity. Tony is, however, hands down my favorite: he’s the youngest, and he has plenty of his own obstacles to overcome (he and Jude both have fraught relationships with their fathers) but he’s always true to himself, gracious with others, and just so inherently kind and sweet that it’s impossible not to want the best for him. Overall, a really enjoyable read, with plenty of heat and plenty of heart as well.

This series has been such a delight to read! This 4th and final book of the series focuses on Jude, Tony, and Logan. Jude was kind of a jerk in a previous book, but he definitely redeemed himself in this installment. His main issue is that he's a switch and needs to satisfy both of those desires in order to be fulfilled. Tony allows Jude to feed his dominant side but he craves submitting as well. Logan is a new Dom that is very knowledgeable, he just needs practical experience. A chance meeting on a kink app brings these 3 men together and it's magical....and a bit awkward. Jude has actually known Logan for most of his life. His father and Logan have been best friends for years. It should be a deal breaker but the chemistry is too good and their kinks line up perfectly. Jude can be a sub for Logan and a Dom for Tony, Tony can have 2 Doms, and Logan gets 2 incredible boys. It's a win-win all around. It's not always smooth sailing and there is a bit of drama but the one thing that is constant is the respect and love that these men have for each other. It is evident in everything they say and do. Tony was the sweetest and subbiest sub and I just wanted to smother him in hugs. Jude is a little boy lost that just wants to feel good enough and Logan just wants to take care of his boys. It was truly a wonderful book!

4.5 stars A really great 🔥mmm book to read.
A great start to the book as Jude and Logan re-meet from Jude's younger days.
I loved Jude and Logan in this at the beginning as they both were silently lusting over each other. Tony had his only story which he desperately needs love and someone to look after him. He looks after a job as well as caring for his demanding father along with his hobby.
This is a fantastic hot book with 3 main characters in play and finding love. I loved how the 3 of them meet for a hook up surprise. Scenes with parents weren't easy for Jude and Tony and emotions run high. Told with all 3 pov's for a fantastic ending but it not without it dramas. I would've loved this book if it was a little more shorter but they get there in the end.
Includes age gap, Bi MC, flirting, hot chemistry, spanking and other 🔥 Dom sexy play.

Logan 53 yrs owned a construction business and waiting to explore his Dom side, now in a new town to help Jude.
Jude 36 yrs was trying to get his restaurant up and running but his construction workers weren't helpful. Turning to Logan, his father's friend for advice Jude hoped or prayed for solution.
Tony 29 yrs hated his job working for his father scrapyard business and wanted his own dream.

I enjoyed the story of Jude, Logan, and Tony coming together and building their unconventional relationship between the three of them. The angst created by Jude and Logan having known each other since Jude was young was an effective point of conflict.

Tony and Jude had an on-again off-again history of playing together. Tony was a sweet character, he had low self-esteem and just wanted to please and be loved.

The hesitation between Jude and Logan as they realized they were attracted to each other seemed a little bit too easy to me. They ended up in bed together a little bit too fast in my opinion but for the sake of the overall length of the book I think it was effective.

MC development: 8/10 (Jude seemed a little bit whiny at times, and Logan excepted the relationship a little bit too easy in my opinion)
Heat: 8/10 (pretty high heat, not all of the sex scenes seemed necessary)
Length: 8/10 (a bit longer than I would have liked)
Meet cute: 8/10 (Jude and Logan meeting through a hookup app was effective)
BDSM: 7/10 (The BDSM seemed a little bit forced at times)
Overall: 8/10 (would recommend)

This was another one of my favorite books of the series by far.

This story is about love and yes a little bit of kink. In this story you meet Logan Shaw who is a divorced Dominant and nobody to play with. He loves the work he does but longing for a submissive to make his life complete.

You also meet Tony Christensen who hates running his family’s towing business. His father’s failing health puts him in charge. He has no time to follow his dreams or to find a DOM to love and praise him.

You also meet Jude Maddox who is a chef who leads a charmed life. His restaurant renovation is a mess. He can’t find another switch to make his dreams come true. When Jude, Tony and Logan meet things heat up quickly behind closed doors and outside of it. They are all going through certain issues and they all work together on them with each other.

There was BDSM in this book and lots of communication between the three guys that I really liked. I liked how they were there for each other in their growing relationship as a polyamorous couple. I learned things in this book I never knew. There was also steamy times in this book I loved.
