Great read. Loving the main characters continued story.
Kohanek tells a great story. Keeps you coming back for more. Does not disappoint. I will continue to read books by this author and recommend him to anyone interested in fantasy reading. Have is my favorite character. His personality makes me laugh at times and he's quite likable.

An exciting continuation of a stunning series! All my favourite characters reappears, especially Harlequin, who's snarky attitude and comments had me snorting in delight! In book 1, our heros go into hiding and to try unravel who wants them dead and who is behind it all. Jace, Narine and co are once again pushed to their limits, physically and emotionally in this well paced novel. Each character is unique and special and the plot thickens in a credible manner. Exciting, emotional, and completely thrilling!
Book 2, ups the ante and the stakes, and is even better than book 1, as the mystery deepens and I got totally drawn into it. The way it's written, the way the book captured me, is a testament to the author's gift of storytelling!
Book 3 was, for me, an emotional rollercoaster, I felt like my emotional strings were pulled so tight and some actually snapped! I kept going between smiling in delight to a resounding NOOOOO at some of the events. So well written, so engaging, so captivating,so riveting, I'm running out of adjectives to describe this compelling read, except to say READ IT! You definitely can't go wrong!

God King Rising - A great start to a new series in one of my favorite worlds. Two Queens are reigning, one is evil and one is good, but both have attempts on their lives made by yet another power hungry wizard. Will they survive or will they die?
I have followed the adventures of Jace and Nadine through the other series, and I am so excited to keep following their journey.
Legend of the Sky Sword - Picks up right after book 1. So much is happening and the action doesn't really stop. A newborn princess is kidnapped and the Seers have left their home, only to flee again. Jace and Nadine are joined by new friends and even some old ones. What will happen next?? I for one can't wait to find out.
Curse of the Elf Queen - Picks up after books 2, and just keeps flowing. So much is going on and I don't want to spoil anything. There are funny times, and sad times, and even some tears for sure this time around. Jace and Nadine are undercover, and the others have things to take care of as well. What is going to happen next, I never know, even when I think I have it all figured out!
I have followed the adventures of Jace and Nadine through the other series, and I am so excited to keep following their journey.

Wow! I laughed, had moments of tears, LOVED the storyline, and love that there's more.
Author did a super job with the storyline. It flows well, and it fully kept my interest.
The narrator was completely impressive. He had so many characters, but the voices for each were incredible and distinct.

I have reviewed each book in the series individually but these first 3 books in this epic fantasy magical saga are just the start to what has been a truly great experience as all the wizardoms in the kingdom are threatened and one by one the wizard lords are taken down and the prayers of their people which kept them in power were directed towards up and coming new powers. The whole land is on the verge of collapse but a group of valiant heroes will fight for their kingdom with all their might and magical powers. This is a series which must be read as it has so much going for any lover of the epic fantasy genre. A lot of sword and sorcery and different beings and a fight of good against evil which is on such a massive scale! Enjoy the first 3 books on which you can now binge read and prepare to want to read the rest of the series!

This review is for Book 1. I read/listened to all of the books in the previous series, and they were well written. The author is consistent, so the first book should give you a good feel for the others.
Our old friends from Fate of Wizardoms are back on the scene in God King Rising. They are facing a new threat, perhaps more than one. The gods are dead. There is a new power struggle for ruling the wizardoms. Who is going to try and take the place of the gods? Will they succeed?
I did find a few of the scene changes in Book 1 jarring. I also wish the bad guys weren't the bad guys, because they are so interesting.
I received an audiobook code from the author. Travis Baldree is a seasoned narrator and fun to listen to. He does the different voices so well. I never had to wonder who was speaking.

There are a lot of fantasy books out there and a lot of authors. This is one of the best of them . To have 3 together is such a joy.
You’ll be pulled into the storyline from the start . Don’t fight it. Enjoy the experience of this tumultuous magical wizardry epic tale .
It’s like no other with such solid characters.

This is such a great series! I have read all of it so far and each book just gets better. The characters are wonderful and the books are action packed. The author paints a vivid picture and makes you feel like you are right there in the story. I’m an avid reader and I highly recommend this series!

This is a Excellent Series and though I listened to it instead of reading it. I Have to tell you people looking for a Great Story to get into this is one you will love. Wounderful Characters and Storyline, Worldbuilding, & Pagetuner.

This series is AWESOME! You don't need to read the previous books to enjoy this series. I listened to this book on Audible, and it was very enjoyable. Tons of action. Vivid descriptions and a great story. You will not be dissappointed with this series... start it now!

No matter the comic relief offered by a certain rogue, the tension always lingers in the background as events unfold. And here is a story of high stakes: the entire world is in the balance. This is just a un-organized mess of a story. I am hours into it and don't remember or care about any of the characters. No one is likeable. I did find it hilarious that 3 super elite dark elves that monolog to much couldn't kill the pirate woman who was caught red handed snooping around. annnnnd after running for her life, she thinks it would be a great idea to stop at a bar in the same town to start drinking and gambling.
I also find it hilarious that the author introduces mc/side characters and waists the reader time that contribute NOTHING to the story. Wait never mind, their is no MC to be found.

Did not finish the book. Very bland and the “spice” in it is gross. I was expecting more adventure and action but the in between sexual parts take away from that. Was not necessary for this story. I feel like it was written to cater to the “Game of Thrones” style crowd. I wasted a credit on the book bundle…30hrs lost.
