There are many books and blogs about making money. However, none have the variety of ideas and detailed steps. No matter what your interest or time commitments, you should be able to find a profitable side hustle that fits your aspirations and life goals.
I’m already a big fan of Nick’s podcast, and this book has made me an even bigger fan.
I was very inspired by all the stories of the various ways people have made money using their own time and talents. I also liked the fact that he got people to talk about their initial investment, mistakes they made along the way, and the resources that helped them figure out how to make their side hustle work.
I definitely would recommend this to anybody who is interested in learning how to make some extra money and (if all does well) maybe even become their own boss!
Everyone is trying to make a bit more money these days. I have found in this book a bunch of helpful tips. Even though I already know quite a bit about some of the side hustles listed I discovered things to make them successful. I recommend reading all of the stories, even if they don't interest you. I'm saying this because everyone has a tip that can work for what you want to do. Pay attention to the "what to do differently" and where they got their helpful advice.
I really enjoyed browsing through this book and picking up tips and tricks from those that have already run the gauntlet. The most important thing about this book is not just the type of business but the advice on how they each would have done a better job with their business processes. I really liked Nick's final analysis of best practices overall. #1 ... GET STARTED AND USE OTHER PEOPLE'S IDEAS RATHER THAN WAITING FOR THE UNIQUE IDEA!!!
If your looking for a side hustle it has a comprehensive list of those you have heard of before and those you have not. What made it a three for me was the standard nature of the questions. I understand why it was done. It made it hard for me to continually read the profiles but I thoroughly enjoyed the marketing sections and will be using them to market my own business and side hustle business
This book details dozens of side hustles. If you're trying to figure out what you should do to make some extra money this will get the ideas flowing. For each real-life example, it gives info about how they got started, what they would do differently, how much they're making now, and more. Very inspiring and motivating!
There’re tons of ideas here for building your side hustle or branching out and making it your regular gig. Stories from people who have built their businesses from $0 and many who are making five figures per month working for themselves. If you like Nick’s podcast you will love the book.
Easy read and good ideas. I got a bit bored with it though because the format was the same with each business. “How did you do this; how much money did you make, blah, blah”
Same questions, no variety. But the author does give the reader links to get more info on the business.
Lots of ideas and inspiration! Even reading the ones that I knew weren't something that I could do gave me other ideas and things that could be applied in different situations.
A very helpful introduction to the world of side hustling. I appreciated the honesty that people brought- especially in the length of time it takes for something to kick off.
Great reading, I thought it will be a lost of time, but this book resulted to be a jewel. I highly recommend this book if you want to create a side hustle.
