This has sat on my shelves for awhile, and I'm glad it did - I read it at precisely the right time. Had never heard of her before, and I'd like to read more about her and her full works. Really loved the prose, and while the poems were okay, the imagery was quite lovely. The journalism piece had me on the edge of my seat - reminded me of Lizzie Borden, those the facts of that case still remain a mystery. My favorites were the letters (a lost art!) and the portion from the gardening book.
