This was hot as hell. Medical kink might be my new favorite kink tbh. But as much as I loved this for the smut, I also loved Pascal and Jericho! Their banter was hilarious and the almost seamless way they became a threesome with Scott was 🤌🏻

WOW, so hot I think my Kindle almost burst into flames!
I adore medical kink, and A.E. Lister paints the perfect picture of a pervy physician in Skeletal Equation. Jericho is a dream come true, and his naughty sidekick Pascal has a few tricks up his sleve as well. They've got plans to deliver as much as Scott can handle.
Beautifully written from Scott's point of view, his inclusion by this established couple is simply heartwarming. I've got high hopes we'll see lots more of this trio!

I'm on a marathon - I'm reading anything and everything from the author, and I'm loving all of them so far.
I didn't even saw the medical kink in the blurb when I said yes, but after realizing this little information, I was over the moon! Medical kink is so amazing and one of my favorite to read about, and it's so hard to find. I was a bit skeptical and was afraid that it would be only one or two little scene... BUT! OMG! The whole book is a medical kink story and with perfectly written and choreographed scenes. I said my jaw was on the floor after reading the author's other book, Ponyboy, but after this, wow, I think my jaw is constantly on the floor when I'm reading from this author. Give me everything like this, I love this feeling!
Scott is the main character and he is into medical kink but he thinks because he's over 40, it's hard to find something like that to satisfy his need in the BDSM scene. Then comes Jericho (who likes to pretend he's a real doctor *wink-wink*) and Pascal (who is a pup and is with Jericho). The thing these tree got into, just wow. Jericho in doctor mode was something otherworldly. Please, sign me up for a check up too! Pretty please!!!! I need a doctor *cough-cough*.

I’m always down for some fun medical kink, but this exceeded even my expectations. Dr. Griffin was smokin’ hot! Scott had no idea what he was in for when he went home with Jericho and Pascal.
I loved how Jericho and Pascal had this fully formed and loving relationship before ever encountering Scott. They had already set up their own boundaries and incorporating Scott seemed effortless.
Jericho as Dr. Griffin was off the charts sexy and Pascal as Pup Digger was adorable and hot at the same time. The last scene when Digger has his way with Jericho? My goodness, Lister knows how to engage an audience! I loved everything about this novella and am gagging for more! Highly recommended.

I don’t have any quotes pulled from this erotica, but I have plenty to gush about.
This is my first time reading a book by Lister and I loved the story. It was easy to connect to the first person POV, and while it was only one MC’s point of view, I didn’t mind that at all. I enjoyed the touches of their Canadian and British colloquialisms and references, and I loved how realistic these characters felt.
I loved that these three had no jealousy, no uberangst, and just fell together naturally. Through sex first, and then we saw the glimmer of connection that was implied to have grown more in the epilogue (and I assume the sequel that follows). I liked that they were all adults, normal jobs, in queer and kink community, and how their dynamics flowed well together. The pup play, the medical kink, all of it was so hot and fitting for them. I liked how they had their differences in appearance and some desires but it wasn’t put on.
Besides the hot scenes (which most of this book is), I love how fucking competent the BDSM aspect is! From discussion on limits and being thorough on that, the boundaries with safe sex, the clean up before sex, the thorough preparation, the clear and honest communication… all of it was so well done. The aftercare and the way you could tell that even if the first time they hooked up as practically strangers, there was still that level of care — so well done.
Lister managed to cultivate emotions between three men in a book that is 90% sex scenes, and I can’t wait to read the sequel. I will say the sequel is considered before the last epilogue paragraph, which is their tacked on HEA. While these books could easily be an exploration of their romantic relationship, I didn’t mind the more ‘detached’ view of how they decide to come together. Just effortless and simple for them as anything else. Two became three, and that is great.

AE Lister KNOWS how to write kink! This is a HOT one and I loved every minute. The major focus is definitely the medical kink and it was written to perfection with a side of pup play. There's not much get to know these three men outside of the bedroom in this one but I still think we get a fairly good sense of their personalities. I'm a huge fan of this author because they always manage to bring depth to a story that on a surface level is a lot of sex. This low angst story is a ton of fun and the kink is always done incredibly well.
This is a fairly quick read but time does pass in the book and gives credit to the three of them building a solid foundation. Scott kind of stumbles onto Jericho and Pascal who already has an established relationship and it's handled with lots of good communication. One thing I can count on with Lister is that miscommunication issues are few and far between. I am super excited to know that we'll be blessed with more from these three men in the future!

Omg this book is totally worth reading, especially if you love MM/M books. The storyline is absolutely engaging and the characters , lets just say they are so hot.
I loved the parts played by the two men as doctor and the pet....adorable and as for the professor, well lets just say he finally got what he wanted, what he hadnt had for a long while.

I knew going in this would be bold, but I didn’t expect it to be this fun. I followed Scott—lonely, a little jaded—into a Halloween leather bar and suddenly found myself in the middle of a kinky, unapologetically queer whirlwind. Medical kink and pup play aren’t usually my go-to, but the way the story handled consent, curiosity, and connection made it feel more exploratory than exploitative.
I liked that Scott wasn’t instantly swept away—he hesitated, questioned, chose. And that made the heat hit harder. It’s short, explicit, and not for the faint of heart, but it’s also playful and oddly sweet. A delightful quick, kinky read! Scott is introduced to medical play, a long time fantasy of his. He meets Jericho and Pascal at a Halloween party in a local nightclub. Jericho and Pascal are well experienced in both medical play and puppy play. They have a tricked out examination room in their home and provide Scott with his ultimate fantasy. He decides to meet up with them on a regular basis and is also introduced to puppy play which is beginning to become more alluring to him. A short sweet story, no angst, just kinky fun. It’s all done in a very safe and sane way and all three characters were easy to like.

I liked Skeletal Equation by AE Lister. I liked Scott, Jericho, and Pascal. I read the blurb. I'm not usually into medical kink, but I love pup play, so I decided to give this book a chance. I'm glad I did. The medical scenes really made it seem like they were at a real doctor's office, complete with an assistant to help. They were very erotic, especially Scott's reaction to them. I loved Pascal as a pup. He was dominant to the other pups but was also very playful. He also made a great assistant. I look forward to reading more books by AE Lister.

This book was everything!! I loved how she wrote the medical kink aspects of the story, she has a unique way of writing kinky BDSM so that it flows perfectly. I loved how she incorporated it with the pup play. Jericho and Pascal had a solid relationship before meeting Scott but they seamlessly enfolded him into their play and relationship. I was glued to the pages right from the start and the story wouldn’t let me go! The story flowed really smooth, was really well written, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My review is solely based on my own thoughts and opinions.

This author is becoming a favourite of mine when it comes to kink and role play and I loved her pony boy series. This book was a hit for me and I never imagined how much fun medical kink could be. The chemistry between Jericho, Pascal and Scott was incredible and could be felt from the get go. The sexual innuendo in the role play was so good and had me in stitches (pun intended). It is a relatively quick read, fast paced, packed with triple hotness and I can’t wait for the follow up Novella in December.

Damn, this is one steamy book. Also fun and sweet. I'm not really into medical kink or pup play – not that I find them repulsive either – but A.E. Lister made it really approachable and damn hot to read anyway. Or maybe I am a bit into these things after all? I liked all of the main characters and will be reading the sequel of sorts A Spoonful of Sugar. This was just a brilliant book of kink.

Meeting Pascal and Jerico was just what Scott needed. They helped him to experience what he had been craving in a safe enviroment.
The connection between all three was immediate and hot as can be. The scenes are off the charts but, the emotional connection, caring, flirting and sense of rightness is what made this a great story.
I was lucky enough to get an Advanced Readers Copy and I am very happy to review this book.

This story features one man who find exactly what he needs on Halloween in a couple with some kinks of their own. Not for the vanilla crowd, but absolutely perfect for those with a “medical persuasion” - wink wink, I really how detailed and immersive this story was. I also really liked how it has a happy ending, but it’s not some grand sweeping one, rather a more natural conclusion. I’ll definitely be looking for more A E Lister in the future.

How in the world did a book with both medical kink and puppy play turn out so . . . boring? I struggled to even finish this one, and it's only 120 pages. This was obviously a case of "It's not the book, it's just me" because other readers certainly enjoyed this one, and I've enjoyed other books by this author in the past. I will undoubtedly enjoy books from this author in the future. But this one just didn't work for me.

Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book and it was exciting from beginning to end. I had never heard of medical kink and the story was so intriguing, I finished it in one sitting. The characters were likable and the sex was HOT!

This book was outstanding. I read it in one sitting I just had to find out what happened. They kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through the storyline. I never read Medical kink before and now I can't wait to read more from her. This is a must-read. You will not be disappointed.

I was promised dark and kinky, and instead I got...kind of sweet and romantic? But definitely still totally kinky.
Novellas are often an awkward length, but Lister hits the perfect balance with this amount of story and text. I look forward to reading more about this trio.
