Iris Clayton, a vulnerable survivor has only one mission in her life—it’s to survive. While scavenging for food, she stumbles upon the group protected by the mysterious, badass, and strikingly handsome Colt Snow. In the world that is barely surviving after the spread of an unknown deadly virus, Colt doesn’t give a damn about her, but there’s something in the way he looks at her that tells the exact opposite. Colt Snow nearly broke after failing to protect his brother. When a fragile woman asks for a place to stay, he can’t help but question her motive, and the last thing he should be doing is to get distracted by those unique blue eyes, but every time he looks at her, he knows only one thing—to take the risk and protect her from whoever is hunting her. “ I was wrong to think that there was no humanity left in this world anymore.”
• Blue Iris is a post-apocalyptic romance novel, in a good way, it is a book different of everything I have read. This is a story about survival, trust and love.
• This book was wrote before the covid pandemic, and if I had read this story before covid, I would mark this story as fiction, a good one. The kind of story that only happens in a movie. After covid, we read this book with the feeling that everything is possible in real life.
• You will find in it, trust, betrayal, friendship, resilience, selflessness and love. It is a really good thriller, with a lot of twists, ups and downs, and with a lot of fight when in a world of chaos love is everything you got.
• Iris is a woman living alone in the chaos, running from her captors, trying to survive in order to keep a promise she made to her brother. Colt is also a man trying to survive and protect a group of pandemic survivors.
• Meet Iris and Colt in this rollercoaster of emotions, when in the end of the day the important thing is to be alive.
