The Tiger's Eye: Angels in Mumbai
Four years after the events that took place in Delaney's first book, 'The Shaft', the Global Calling organization is now making a dynamic impact across India. As they host the largest ministry event in their history, with over one hundred thousand worshipers in a crowded Mumbai cricket stadium, a radical anti-Christian militia (Indian Liberation Resistance Organization) orchestrates a brutal terrorist attack.
This profoundly evil organization spares nothing it in its attempt to stop the ministry; killing, maiming, and abducting many of its leaders. The Tiger’s Eye: Angels in Mumbai by Scott B. Delany is a full throttle, Christian-based fictional thrill ride. The author inspires readers to look up to God, follow the calling of God for their lives, and reminds us all that angels are a very present help in times of trouble.
The Global Calling Organization is a Christian Evangelical outreach during the end time harvest. India is their next target and calling from God. India, as the author describes is a beautiful and mysterious land, filled with many Gods, cultural diversity, and many religions, one in which is an anti-Christian Muslim movement. Global Calling plans a stadium event that would be touching hundreds of thousands with the love and saving power of God, the only One True God. The supernatural battle begins as darkness clashes with the light in a well-planned terrorist attack.
The author delves into a new level of understanding into the evil that pervades the mindset of terrorist activity, shedding light on the unseen realm, all lending to the credibility of the storyline. The book is believable, offering a peer into the angelic presence and protection that the Bible speaks of to those who believe. Experiencing a supernatural encounter and change of heart, a young terrorist, formerly involved in the mayhem and bloodshed, becomes a key agent in bringing about justice. Culminating in a fantastic fast-paced, but believable epic, the author makes readers feel as if they were experiencing the visuals, smells, and colors from his vast descriptiveness inspired from his many travels to India. Page-by-page readers will not be disappointed.
Scott B. Delaney is one of those author’s who knows how to write a book that holds one’s interest through an enjoyable read. Each and every character comes to life. He drafts a well-organized book with the use of time frame itineraries, famous author quotes and Bible verses give deep meaning, providing “food for thought” to the readers.
This book comes as a highly recommended must-read Christian-based fictional series!

In an age of reason and skepticism, it is hard for many to imagine a world where the supernatural is real, and that this world is a place where angels and demons exist. But in 'The Tiger’s Eye, Angels in Mumbai', Scott Delaney takes you to a place where the supernatural not only appears reasonable, but it actually provides something missing from our understanding of reality. Delaney delivers yet another page turning spiritual thriller depicting the veil between the natural and the supernatural ever so thin, and the battle between good and evil, often closer and more dangerous than we may have imagined.
I highly recommend it. I just bought three more copies for friends and family.

The Tiger’s Eye is a book about one man’s travels to India and everything he experiences. In this story, you’ll be completely immersed in Indian culture and surroundings with Delaney’s descriptive writing. However, sometimes it was a little too descriptive for my liking, as not all the descriptions were pleasant, but you know, that’s what makes the culture all that it is, the good and the bad.
Also, I liked that there were times when we got to see the POV of angels and demons, which was a really cool touch to the book.
All in all, it was a good book, and if you’re looking for something to read about a different country, or just experience something new through the power of writing, this one’s for you.

Fast-paced Christian thriller to make believers cheer
This was not my usual read. After all, as despicable and horrifying as they are, acts of terrorism are, sadly, no longer unusual. So why would I pick out a thriller—even a Christian one—for a few hours of entertainment?
Well, the premise intrigued me. A spiritual battle between good and evil in the exotic setting of India. The Bible describes angels as awe-inspiring beings, yet they are tasked with serving humans. And what a job they did in this rollicking, action-packed thriller. While the story starts off slowly, it picks up speed as it jumps from one location to the other, gathers momentum, and finishes with a dramatic climax.
The author does an amazing job of painting a vivid picture of a country of stark contrasts. I’ve been fortunate to spend some time in India as a foreigner, and agree with the author’s description of the warmth and hospitality of the people. Despite the many challenges faced by the population, it is a country that grows on you, and the main characters in the story bear testimony to that fact. I couldn’t quite connect with all the characters, but Trevor’s resilience and Sanjay’s redemptive journey stood out for me.
This story will appeal to those who enjoy Christian thrillers and who are looking for a few hours of fast-paced escapism.
Finally, this was the first Delaney story I read, and I look forward to reading the next instalment in the series.

I believe I may have posted one review already, but am more than happy to answer your question. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I have to admit that I read it out of order before reading book 1: The Shaft. Your narrative and story made me not want to stop reading. At first a little confused when you started with the attack and reverted to back story, but now I must admire how you captured my attention in doing so, once I figured out what was going on.
I look forward to seeing more books from you, and hopefully you won't leave us hanging without further adventures of the Morrison family and friends, along with the Global Call.
How wonderful it would be to see something like The Call and Global Call begin in the US and spread like wildfire.
