Pulp Fishin'

Rate this book
Pulp Fishin’ Volume One is, at its most basic, a gaggle of non-fiction fishing adventures and miss-adventures. Whether you fish or not, the stories are humorous and entertaining. The book’s overriding themes are humor, love, addiction, psychology, and ethics as they apply to fish and fishing. Pulp Fishin’ is ripe with life and death issues as well, primarily relating to people who fish, the fish themselves, and the bugs that fish eat. Pulp Fishin’ Volume One can also be viewed as an instruction manual. For the non-fisher person there is a semi-complete glossary that will guide you through the complex world of fish talk and provide rare insight into the minds of the fools who are consumed with the idea that matching wits with a fish is all that important. For the consummate expert fisher person, Pulp Fishin’ Volume One provides an opportunity for self-discovery that will leave you with more questions than answers about yourself and your drug of choice. It is important to define what Pulp Fishin’ Volume One is. However, it is as every bit as important to define what it isn’t. It is not a cookbook. It is also not a book on religion, however I highly suggest that if you fish or intend to fish, that you learn how to pray. More than anything else, Pulp Fishin’ Volume One is a requirement for any decent fishing library. If you own Gary La Fontaine’s book on caddis flies, you can make room for this book!
