Rate this book
Ever witnessed a phenomena that could not have been explained very well? Perhaps the answer came out as "I don't know", or "well—", followed by some peculiar storytelling. Despite what was seen, may have been an intentionality.

Which contain how certain variables in this life, their lives and those beside them, prove to be more than the chaos of everyday interactions. These NAMES present the special of the average, at the dawn of something more, regardless of ideals — the beginning of unveiling and a truth of the matters front and center.

Until a certain form comes to light, it will remain: mysterious. Not far from shadowless nights who understand the world's many layers more than their own casters. Within these compendium of thoughts however, from the everyday and awing figures, it is possible these occurrences lead to something that has been right before these eyes that continue dismissing.

Originating from Brooklyn, New York, P. C. Clotter was born to create literature, since his toddler days envisioning complex action sequences through spoon and fork in hand.

Both writer and illustrator commonly known by college professors for challenging the "norm", P.C.'s style of narrative has been often referred as "dreamy" or "nightmarish", yet chemical and different. Heading torwards a direction of "escapism", while tackling the deeper anthologies of the individual, space and beyond.

P.C. aims unafraid at the questionable; the risqué, as long as it produces a powerful and memorable story, that churns into a material itself can stand proud of.

Though, as an entire piece - Clotter's critical focus are narrative and character chemistry. For without these themes he finds it would, "tell similar to reading zig-zag carvings on a stone tablet."

Licorice is like a really good Rap album. You know what I mean. Great word flow, a story throughout, complex, thought provoking but also fun. You'll bopping your head just on the words alone. Each poem is complex but it doesn't feel at all messy. I laughed, I thought, I learned and never forgot. This is a unique experience that I am still reading because it's so rich with content.

Take it from me, you'll want to read the same poem over and over again. It's one of those books that you'll find new things every time you read just one poem. Once you read the whole thing you'll want to read it again cause you'll figure out even more things. The only reason why it's not getting a 5 because I wanted more of it. I hope it shows you just how good the book is. Licorice is such a beautiful experience, you'll want to put on some Smooth Jazz while you read. Thank me later.
