Arriving back in Aurora after a semester in Paris is bittersweet. The City of Love turned out to be a city of problems. Between my internship nearly imploding, Seth’s injury, and Lucas’ parents, it’s a wonder we made it back still together. But while our relationship has endured, can it withstand a fourth suitor knocking at the door?
With a penchant for a nice glass of red and a good steamy story, Carmen Black can usually be found either writing at her computer or snuggled under a blanket as she binges one of her favorite TV series. Either way, her four-legged fur babies, Crash and Chloe, are always by her side as she crafts wicked tales of unconventional love.
Let me just say that I loved Lucas. This book introduced us to a “new” guy that came back from France. I loved the tutor trope that was introduced with Axel and how his relationship with Rachel developed through this “forced proximity”.
My favorite relationship was probably Lucas with Hunter and Rachel. Their chemistry was definitely the most thought through and I liked how Hunter was “flexible” with his role during the spicy scene.
Axel’s and Seth’s enemies to “lovers” was also interesting. It got a bit annoying though that Seth was still in denial even now on the 4th book.
This series just keeps getting better, more entertaining, more enjoyable , the characters are awesome. All of them have different personalities and differ in what makes them tick. Excellent reading
Rating 5/5 Plot 5/5 Spice 3.5/5 Character Development 5/5
"Another Roommate" is the fourth book in Carmen Black's "Life in the Brohouse" series. This book continues to tell the story of Rachel, Lucas, Hunter, and Seth and their time in uni as they face yet another obstacle in their life. This time, Alex Goode transfers from his school in Paris to Rachel's school in Colorado. Alex is Lucas' childhood friend and the Bros and Rachel meet him when they spend their summer in Paris. Alex is also Seth's rival and this creates a lot of tension in the relationships between Rachel, Lucas, Hunter, and Seth. This book focuses more on Alex and Rachel's relationship, however, we also see the Bros grow and overcome their personal struggles too.
To be honest, I laughed so much while reading this book. I thought RoomHates (the first book in this series) was extreme, but Another Roommate had so many moments where I thought "this is insane" (in a good way) or "how did they not learn from the first time???".
If Black continues the series, you already know I'm going to keep reading. But if this was the last book, I had a great time reading and seeing the characters grow throughout the series.
I really enjoyed reading Another Roommate(Life in the Brohouse Book 4)!!! All about Rachel a sophomore in college & her housemates/boyfriends Seth, Hunter & Lucas are all athletes. Life is very interesting and constantly changing after their trip to Paris. Lucas has decided to forgo his legacy and pursue a writing career, hence why his parents stopped supporting him. This is extremely difficult on him since being uber rich has him spoiled, now he has to work getting a menial job making minimum wage as a barista. Seth broke his heel in Paris and is still recuperating and he’s a runner, so his scholarship is in jeapordy, he has until January to try and, secure a spot back on the team. Hunter lost his mom & had a drug addiction trying to deal with life and a recurring shoulder injury, but he worked hard got clean with the help of a therapist & physical therapist has his life back on track. But his football scholarship is in jeapordy, also his coach has basically benched him & his teammates hate him. This is his senior year and he wants to play in the NFL, he has his work cut out for him, to turn things around. Rachel is struggling because she has one friend in the art department and needs some more. Read about Rachel & her bro’s and see how life as a college student can be overwhelming, but also amazing with the right people in your court. Lots of emotion, and plenty of toe curling action. Definite Read!!! Can’t wait to read book 5!!!!
This is book 4 in the series so you won’t understand where the characters are unless you start at book one. I have to be honest and say this has been my least favourite in the series as it seemed to drag out and was boring at times especially the beginning with her Mom visiting I actually skipped pages. I think in this book Rachel was so selfish when it came to her wanting Alex also and she really didn’t care what Hunter, Lucas & Seth wanted it was all about her, to be fair I was kind of hoping they would dump her for being so selfish and I really didn’t like her in this book. I do like Alex and I actually thought both Alex & Seth were going to hook up the way the author made them act with each other. If I am being really honest this series should have already been finished it didn’t really need 3 books let alone 7 and I’m not sure I will read the last 3 books to be fair. The author should have ended it at book 3 with an epilogue of them 5 or 10 years after college to say where they were in their life as even though I have liked the main characters this story should never have been dragged over 7 books.
This book 4 of 5 in The Life in the Brohouse Book Series has a story of unlikely 4 roommates of 3 men and one woman, with one more man wanting to join them. They deal with issues of college and life's hardships while in a relationship with each other after their Summer to Paris, but when they arrive back to school they each have obstacles to overcome. Their story starts in book 1, RoomHates, continues in 2 more prior and these should be read prior to this book. These stories were amazing and how they try to help each other with problems each face. This story has realistic and heartbreaking problems, but they have issues with their families also. This story will pull at all your emotions while experiencing what the characters feel. This unique book 4 will entertain you and I cannot wait for book 5.

Had the opportunity to read the ARC of the 4th book in the bro house series and give it a 3 1/2 stars. Let me start by this picks up when they return from Paris (book3) and they have a surprise visit by Rachel’s mom.
Rachel also has a new guy(kinda) show some interest and he has the guys feeling not so welcoming. I love a good Reverse Harem but not sure how I would feel if Rachel decides in book 5 she wants to add another guy. I also am a bit tired of Seth’s constant attitude and it feels sometimes like he is a bit too much of a bully when he doesn’t get what he wants. I’m hoping he calms down next book cause it’s really unattractive.
I am hoping to have more of Lucas and Hunter storylines in the next book as I felt this was all about Seth and Alex.

Another book featuring Rachel and her bros, or should I say bros plus 1. I’m not sure if the extra guy needed to be added but by the end I was ok with it. I liked him as a character, but I really liked the connection that had grown between Rachel and the original three. Rachel was a little grating at times, and Seth could tone down his brattish behaviour. As usual the story absorbed you into it, wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I’m looking forward to book 5. Might it be too much to suggest maybe some MM could feature. There was a little something between two of the guys.
This book was very much like the other 3. It wraps you in from the beginning and has you wanting to read more. Another Roommate covers more of Alex and Seth's rivalry and their personalities. The RH scenes continue to be hot and have you looking forward to reading more of them.
SPOILER AHEAD:
The only part of this story I did not enjoy was the cheating. I am glad it got resolved in the end and think Alex is a good fit for not only Rachel but Seth as well, however the initial cheating part was hard to enjoy.

When Rachel's mom visits, Rachel is desperate to make sure that she is not to know of her relationship with Seth, Lucas and Hunter. The plan goes well... until it doesn't. Alex has arrived in town from France replacing Seth on the track. Things between them are tense. The pressures of parental alienation, being benched, intense rivalry takes its toll on Rachel and her bros...
This is such an AMAZING story! There's plenty of chemistry between the characters, angst, passion, jealousy, misunderstanding, forgiveness betrayals, rivalry, jealousy and heartbreak. There's an HFN ending.
After getting back from Paris. The start of the next semester along with the next steps into there relationship. Rachel's mom decides to stops in to see Rachel. Rachel doesn't want her mom to know that she is dating Seth, Lucas and Hunter. Not only that but now you have Alex Lucas's friend from Paris. Alex has decided to transfer to Aurora to be on the track team. Rachel loves all the guys. They all have something specials about them. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Rachel and the bros are back from Paris, but before things settle down her Mom showed up, which leads to some awkward moments. Plus, someone else shows up, who just may shake things up in the Brohouse. I like Rachel, and I liked seeing Lucas trying to figure out life without his parents money. Charlie is awesome too - everyone needs a BFF like her. I’m intrigued to see what happens next in this series :)
Rachel and the 3 boys are back from Paris, their time away didn't turn out as expected. Now they are back to classes and trying to come to terms with the changes in their lives. But what will happen with their relationship when a 4th suitor takes an interest in Rachel?
I enjoyed this book, but wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next book.

I love reading stories from this author. She writes really well and has you hooked into the story right from the start. I could not put this one down. I love reading them. This is Book 4 of the Bro series. It was HOT! HOT! HOT! The characters had great chemistry. I loved the read and cannot wait to read more from this author.

Wow!!! I love that each book picks up as if you are just turning the page. Lots have happened this term, with Seth's injury after returning from Paris , Alex coming to Aurora. Hunter returning to the football team and Lucas becoming independent from his parents and working a job for the first time. Adventure awaits Rachel and her Bros.
This is the fourth book in the series. It continues the story when they all return from Paris. Rachel becomes interested in another guy to add to the three she currently lives with. He’s not a stranger either. Lots of drama, jealousy, and of course HEAT. Didn’t want it to end. Can’t wait for more.

I enjoyed the first 3 books however this book I found rather boring, the introduction of Alex felt like the author was reaching for another direction for this story but unfortunately it did not deliver. Wasn’t a fan of Alex in book 3 and definitely not in this book. Unfortunately it has not gained enough interest from me attempt book 5.
Rachel and the bros face more obstacles while Lucas's friend Alex transfers to thier college. This story had me misting up in places with some of the heartache they faced . These characters once again had me totally entranced.
Another chapter in the lives of the bros and Rachel down. This book focused more on Alex and Rachel's POV Then any of the others but did show some development in the relationships between Rachel and the boys.

OMG....this book is a great read. I knew it was going to be Alex!! To read about all of their problems and concerns and then their solutions to their problems was fascinating. I absolutely enjoyed reading every word written!
Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read! Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
Well that took a turn I saw comming... Still a really good book nice there was a good story line there though a little Repetitive excited to see how Christmas goes with the family and the bros
I’m super excited that Alex got to join them but I’m not a huge fan as the way the author went about it. Rachael is still a bit too much of a cryer for my liking but she’s a lot better then she was the past few books.
I loved this 4th book. I have been smitten with the bros and Rachel since the first book. This one was just as fantastic as the last 3. Of course great chemistry and the seggs is 😍😍😍
I have loved every single one of these books and can’t wait for more. It has left me seriously doubting if I ever really lived in my younger days😜. Super sweet, steamy and downright hot🔥
Struggle with feelings and finally acceptance of all but after three books the indecision was a bit “hmmm”. I’ll probably still read the next book though
