My wife, Karen, and I have known John Alexander for some time now and have enjoyed reading his daily poems on social media. He is also a regular contributor to Faith On Every Corner magazine.
His book, Daily Reflections, is an extraordinary collection of daily poems that help center us in our Christian faith and encourage us in our everyday lives. The poems in this book are written in a conversational style and are appropriate for younger readers as well as adults. Reading the poems in Daily Reflections makes us feel we are sitting on the porch with John as he shares his thoughts, experiences, and deepest emotions. It is just that comfortable and friendly.
Our copy of Daily Reflections sits on the desk next to our Bible and other devotional readings. The bite-sized entries make are a perfect addition to daily devotion time—brief but packed with thought-provoking content.
