I've read several books by this author, but this book includes introduction to a new character. Not sure whether there will be more or not. There are a lot of twists and turns and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Look forward to future books including this new main character who was on the side of the law, but now is in a gray area but being pushed by former partners to come back to the lawful side of activities.

Came across this release on hoopla and as a fan of the Karen Vail series decided to give it a try.

It was just ok for me, both the subject matter and the storyline were depressing. Former attorney Amy Robbins, lost her husband & daughter in a car crash. Since then, she's had a few mental issues, works in a bakery and lives in her brothers garage. One day, she meets a nanny & her charge at the park and a spark ignites. She meets them daily for lunch and everyone can see the change in Amy.

Meanwhile, the parents of the girl are planning an IPO for a biotech company worth possible billions and any whiff of scandal can derail it. Enter Amy, her obsession with the girl that reminds her of her deceased daughter and the ex LAPD now fixer Mickey Keller who is tasked with tracking her down.

Easy read.

It was an easy read. I was curious as to how it would be resolved. I was hoping that at some point she was able to reunite with her family.

Not realistic and way too far fetched. But I enjoyed it all the same. A good read.

Very good read

This was a departure from his norm but a great story. Everyone has shades of grey in their lives, it’s interesting to see where it takes you.

A Treat To Read

The Lost Girl has managed to neutralize Ambien. No small accomplishment. As with all Alan Jacobson's books, this one was extremely difficult to put down.
