He left school at the age of 15 and worked as a cook, waiter, plate collector and washer-up in his parents transport cafe before joining the Royal Navy in 1973. As an Aircraft Handler/Crash-Rescue Fireman he served on Great Britain's last true fixed wing aircraft carrier, HMS Ark Royal before she was scrapped in 1978. Yes he hears the cries of derision from serving and former members of the Fleet Air Arm who served in big ships since the "Big A" was scrapped, but even the Royal Navy called them through-deck cruisers and they didn't have catapults to launch them, nor aircraft landing at 250 knots.
Since leaving the Royal Navy he has worked as a long distance class 1HGV driver, drayman, fettler and mechanical engineer. He worked on contract in Libya and in 1995 became a Bachelor of Science after graduating with a 2:1 honours degree from Bournemouth University. A motorcycle accident in 2000 left him with serious injuries, finished his engineering career and almost his life. He now lives in Poole in Dorset and after many years writing stories for his own amusement has been prompted by friends and family to publish some of them.

Wow!!!! This series was amazing! I’m normally a romantic suspense reader, but I have to say this was just what I needed for a change up. So well written that I found myself totally engrossed into these amazing stories! The action and suspense is so addictive that I soon found myself devouring all three books without taking a break. I’ll definitely be looking for more of Thomas’s books!!! Great job! Highly recommended

This set will give you a lot of reading enjoyment. All was as it should be through 3 books. The plots are always good with a twist some where along the way. Strong characters and good action. Reading the set was really better than reading one at a time. I think you will enjoy Thomas Eyre's writing, I know I do.

Loads of shenanigans!

The gripping thriller series about hardened military hero, Patrick (Paddy) Regan includes plenty of ‘stinking shenanigans’ and even suggestions of espionage. I also appreciated finding out about The Demon Prince of The Undead.
Book 1: 1990: Desert Overwatch: Royal Marine Sergeant James Regan is deployed in Kuwait, during the time of rumoured Scud missiles, before the start of Gulf War 1. ……What turns a Royal Marine into a murderer?
As a military wife, I appreciated the familiar lingo, in this prequel novella. I could feel the sand and heat, as well as the ‘watch-and-wait’ monotony versus the horrors of military life my husband described to me. At the start, I was taken right back to driving to RAF Brize Norton, talking about writing to each other on ‘blueys’ (forces aerogrammes) during Desert Storm.
Book 2: 2018: The British Frontline: Royal Marine Sergeant, Patrick (Paddy) Regan, James’ son, is used to protecting the UK’s interests, wherever he has served; Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. Back in the U.K., Paddy deserts the Marines to try to track down the Russian Mafia who’d destroyed his family; but, poking a Russian bear with a stick is a dangerous thing to do…
Book 3: 2020: The Namibian Offensive: Royal Marine deserter, Paddy Regan has had very little contact with his fiancée, Sarah, who’s away trekking in Namibia, while helping Doctors Without Borders (M.S.F.) with the new Ebola crisis. Then he learns she has been kidnapped in Africa, so he must change his focus from the Russian Mafia to Namibian rebels. This will see him change from vigilante to a government assassin.

Party Regan Is A Badass Operator
But that is no way meant to diminish the rest of his ops group family. And family it is with his sister Suzie, his "brother", Dave and his fiance, Susan, all partners in his team working under Pete Chapman as they try to clean up the trash that crime run rampant has left in their little corner of the world. Paddy starts out as the young son of an honorable military man who dies at the hands of a " friend" and goes on to distinguished military service in his own right. It is in service to his country that the codename Orcus comes into being to envelope crimes and criminal activity that are handled offbooks. It takes a while for the group to gel but they get it done. Excellent storytelling with an edge-of-your-seat tension that captures and holds your attention.

A great read
This is a gory, bloodthirsty tale that that covers some "difficult" scenarios and unsavoury topics. That said it's very well written with lots of development of the characters of the four principals Well worth a read

You'll like this one!
Maddy and Dave are a team like no other. Add Suzie and Sarah into the mix and you have a really good book. Read it pretty much straight through. You will keep reading to find out what happens next.
