WHEN THE GODS THREATEN TO RETURN, THE CAREFUL BALANCE BETWEEN THE DAEMONS AND DEMIGODS CRUMBLES, AND WAR THREATENS THEIR VERY EXISTENCE.

Many of the demigods believe Octavia is the key to the gods’ return. If they kill her, the gods will remain imprisoned. The daemons believe she is the key to their survival. If she dies, all hope for the future will vanish with her. Octavia doesn’t want to believe either version, but when she is ruthlessly stalked by something menacing, she fears they both might be right.

The only thing keeping her sane is her mates. Octavia never expected to find love, and when one of her men gets in trouble, she risks everything to keep him safe—even if it will break her heart.

As the gods rise, war hovers on the horizon, and the guys are afraid Octavia will sacrifice her soul to protect them. The guys make a deal with the devil himself to keep from losing her, but they aren’t sure it’ll be enough. Their love is strong enough to defy the gods—even death itself—but only if they’re willing to gamble their lives…and the fate of the world.

Unimpressed

I didn’t like this one as much. I think it stemmed from the hate the MC showed for the ex-mate of one of the love interests. The ex-mate had to feel each of her mates die one by one and was so devastated she committed suicide. Instead of feeling sympathy, the MC stated she threatened to kill her if she was still alive. It just started the book on a sour note.

For most of the book, nothing really happened and then In the last 15%, the story tried to wrap up. I felt like the end should have been expanded and that 85% could have been condensed. All in all, I felt it was not an impressive end.

I really enjoyed this one.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen with this series. There is no cliffhanger and the fight in this book has been wrapped up but also it doesn’t feel complete so here’s hoping there will be another.

All four guys are feral when they want to be and I love that. This book completes all the bonds so now I want to see how this relationship progresses.

I would have preferred this audio to be a dual or duet narration before I’m not OVERLY happy with all four mens voices but all in all the narrator does a good job in pitch and tone so make each voice unique.

I’d say medium burn. Sex scenes could be more descriptive but I enjoyed them. There is a Mfm seen in this one.
Fmc is fabulous, she’s strong and owns her choices as well as being a bad arse warrior.

It was an epic conclusion to the series that tied up most of the conflict, but the pacing of the story and overall relationship development was not a very satisfactory read for me. We finally meet more of the gods and some answers about how they actually interacted with the world, but it was very surface-level and quickly resolved. That portion didn't even really start until around 80% into the novel - the rest was about the main characters' relationship progress and various factions starting to ask Titan for sanctuary from the escaped gods.

I honestly found the FMC Olivia to be quite the stubborn bull-headed individual - while she complained that her mates would do things without her consultation, she did the exact same thing to them. There were multiple conversations about this impulse on everyone's part but it changed exactly no one's behavior. Her escalation of power throughout this book was also a little absurd - from chapter to chapter she was quickly "found" to be actually something more powerful.

The relationship development of the series was also completely bizarre to me. We finally get some full on intimate scenes (pretty much one per mate), but the men acted like doe-eyed virgins and when they finally got to the act, it was literally with no other build-up. For example, one scene between Warrick and Olivia was in some random alley when she was trying to quickly have a conversation with him before he went back undercover, but they (dumbly) decided to waste their time playing hooky until they were interrupted.

It was a mediocre series overall, and I don't think I'd really recommend it in general. The dystopian world of gods and humans was an interesting concept, but the series didn't do a good job of fleshing it out with its characters.

I loved this book. My only issue is I feel like the battle with Zeus was anticlimactic. It’s Zeus for crying out loud. I am huge Ares fan so that aspect of the book was amazing. Octavia is amazing in this book. The amount of strength she shows is incredible. She’s stubborn as hell as always. I felt her and Warrick’s relationship hurdles were rushed as well. Overall, excellent book and excellent series. Highly recommend.

DNF I had to wait so long for my library to get this book and then I didnt like it. I got half way through and I just couldnt finish it. I had listened to the others and find them ok, but for some reason this storyline was boring in this one. Yes I know it would conclude the series, but I still could not finish it.

good

A good ending to the trilogy. Power corrupts… except Octavia. She does whatever she can for good, and for her mates. I would have liked a little bit more of a peak in the future, just for curiosity’s sake.

Stacey Brutger changed me to an RH fan

I'm not usually an RH fan, but I love this series. It's a gritty story full of action, adventure, badass heros, evil jerks, and hot alpha males who found their heart and soul.

While I love the author and even the plot/idea behind the book, this series was a bit of a let down. The write was repetitive and all over the place. The characters just kept repeating themselves in thought. Scenes move so quickly but the progression was not smooth.

Decent but slightly rushed

I feel like this left a couple of threads open, altho it did conclude the main plot with the gods. And the ending felt very quick after the end battle scene. But overall I've enjoyed this series and most of the guys and Octavia

Daemon Legacy, book three of the Clash of the Demigods series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). Stellar story line, I loved the action and development of the relationship over these three books. This series was a real treat.

Ooooohhh, aaaah!

Octavia doesn't have it easy. And her men can be a bit stupid at times.
But Nico, oh he is my favorite.

Fantastic series

I always feel kinda sad when I finish reading a good series. That’s when I know it was a great book and that’s exactly the way I felt after reading Daemon Legacy.
