He's back in town after a successful country music career. She owns a bordering farm to the family land he wants to buy...and she outbids him at the auction. Can Tex and Abigail rekindle their old flame, or will the issue of land ownership come between them?

Tex Young has spent the last two decades traveling around the world with his brothers as part of Country Quad, a successful cowboy boy band. He's stepping back from the band and returning to his roots in Coral Canyon, where the Young brothers all grew up.

Their father sold the family ranch several years ago when none of them wanted it, and Tex, along with his son, rolls into town the day before an auction for the land. He wants it. He talks to some of his brothers, and they decide to try to get the ranch back.

Abigail Ingalls has other plans for that land, as it borders her small farm, which she's labored on with her disabled brother for the past two decades...after Tex left her in Coral Canyon so he could go live the country music star life. The land isn't taken care of, and she wants to add it to what she owns and create an oasis out of weeds.

Abby and Tex both show up at the auction, and they both want that land. The sparks between them are as hot as they were twenty years ago, but Tex tells himself it's because the uppity town librarian outbid him and bought his family ranch.

So he devises another plan to get the ranch back...and that includes taking his gorgeous, former girlfriend to dinner a time or two. Can Tex and Abby build a real, lasting relationship now that they're both back in Coral Canyon for good? Or will Tex's plan to get his family ranch back end up breaking both of their hearts?

This book is a sweet but simple story. Did not realize it is “Christian fiction” before starting it. Unrealistic in story progression and not well-written. Not interested in rest of series.

I loved this book! Tex is such a great guy, putting his teenage son's needs ahead of his own life. He puts his music career on hold to come back to Wyoming and purchase his family's old ranch. The romance with Abby next door is charming, but it's the whole Young family that grabs you and keeps you reading. I highly recommend this book and the series!

A very cute second chance romance. I think we all want to fall in love with the star that returns to us and that’s just what this one is. She tried to fight it but can’t deny the feelings there. Some other good pieces and parts woven into this one too.

🌀Synopsis
Tex is returning to his hometown with his son Bryce. He’s taken custody of Bryce for his senior year of high school and they are moving to be close to family. Tex is coming off the road from his career as part of a band so it’s a big adjustment. When the two find his family’s ranch is going up for auction Tex decides he wants to buy it.
The only problem is the neighbor wants to keep it away from investors so she is also after it. Her name is Abigail and this isn’t her first experience with Tex. The two were together in the past until he left for life on the road.
Now Tex needs to prove that he’s ready to settle down and put down roots for both his son and for Abigail.

I listened to the audiobook and loved the narration by Amanda Stribling and Tyler Darby. ‘Tex’ is the first in the Coral Canyon Cowboys series and I found it quite charming. Liz Isaacson has created some truly lovable characters and I would like to read more of the series. There were a few more references to God than I was expecting, leading me to think of Country Quad as a sort of Christian, country Osmonds. Nevertheless, I was invested in the Young family and all the residents of Coral Canyon. A nice, laidback listen.

Y'all I'm so sorry but this was not it at all. BookTok did me real dirty. The concept of a country second chance romance was appealing but I can't believe the book was this boring and written so poorly.
I don't know how the rating is so high and I really hope you all find a well written book in your near future.
First off, it was oddly religious. It wasn't too overwhelming but also did not flow well. Very choppily spiritual. Not a single one of the characters was well developed and I did not connect to any of them.
There really is no plot at all. No conflict. No suspense. No excitement. No emotion.
They immediately get together. Even though Abby spends the first chapters being so mad and hurt by his actions in the past, they just get together with no preamble, no questions asked.
Then in the middle of the book it just starts telling other characters' stories. Characters that don't have that much to do with Tex or Abby. People I have ZERO connection to and don't really want to read about. I would say a good 40% of the book is spent with Abby and Tex as side characters or vessels to tell other characters' points. and since we don't know these characters it was frustrating and meaningless. I regret the time I wasted reading this book and will not be reading any of the others.

Tex is the first book in a new series by Liz Isaacson about the Young brothers that were famous in country music as the group Country Quad. Tex, the oldest and frontman of the group had decided to move back to Coral Canyon where he grew up. He had brought his 17 year old son Bryce with him. When he went by the ranch he grew up on he seen it was to be auctioned by the bank the next day as a cash only sale. It had ran down and he could see them moving in and fixing it up. The brothers had been touring or in Nashville recording over the last several years and most of the boys were moving back to Coral Canyon where their parents lived. When a women comes from next door fussing at Tex and Bryce to get off the property he recognizes her. It was Abby his high school sweetheart. She was living next door with her brother Wade and they were working their ranch. At the auction it went crazy and a bidding war went on and Abby got the last bid in but did not have but about half the money. She made a deal with Tex to each pay half and Tex would live on the ranch and fix it up.

Tex knew he was still in love with Abby but hated how he left for college and left her behind as she was a year younger. He stopped communicating with her and met a girl, married and had Bryce. The marriage did not last due to the touring and living in Nashville recording. His brothers were all about in the same boat as they had young children and had divorced. Mav the manager had met a woman and was remarried and happy in Coral Canyon. Tex wanted the same thing with Abby. But when an argument over Tex building a barn and making it into a recording studio happens they break off their dating. Tex, Bryce, and his brothers had to go to Nashville to try to talk the record studio big wigs into letting them do their album in Coral Canyon so all the brothers could stay home and make their album. So while they are waiting on the studio to be built, they use Tex's home to work on their next album.

When Bryce and Wade decide it is time for Abby to apologize to Tex and start dating again, they hope that it will mean a marriage where Bryce can get a mom that is more caring about him then his mother ever was. But could Tex and Abby put aside their disagreements and decide to marry each other after their past history?

Coral Canyon series

Liz can take you from your stressful world, put you into another world where there is problems, anxiety and stress, but the way she writes it, you have a sense of happiness, love. She takes you to a place you just sit back and live in the moment. Life can be difficult and hard and with reading how she puts the family together with love and of course God it makes everything, you know is going to be all right. As for this series raising 9 boys that along could be a big job itself.

This is a great first book to what looks to be an incredible series from this author. The storyline is gripping and enthralling as we see Tex and Abby get a second chance at a love long lost. A rundown ranch, heartache, challenges, a few twists and turns and best of all family and love had me glued to the pages and has me waiting patiently and eagerly for the next book!

I enjoyed reading this book about Tex and Abby. I really liked Bryce's character in the book. It's not often that I see a teenager in a book who has a multitude of redeeming qualities.

It was a good book about family, love, loyalty, responsibility, compassion, and compromise. Abby reminded me of that phrase "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb". I found her to be overbearing at the beginning of the book, but her character grew on me. I also liked her brother Wade.

Tex and Abby seemed to have a sweet, gentle second hand romance. There weren't that many hiccups and they managed to work through the ones they encountered.

This book had one drawback for me. That is why I rated it 4.5 instead of 5 stars. There were TOO many people in the book for me to keep up with while trying to read. I literally had to write down who the people were and how they connected. With there being 10 Young brothers, and the associated connections with spouses, girlfriends, potential girlfriends, ex's, children, and other family members and friends, I found it to be overwhelming.

Hopefully, by the time we get to the last Young brothers book, I will have the relationships firmly planted in my mind. My list got wet, so I will have to start my relationship chart over again. Lol!

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I enjoyed this audiobook. It’s book one in the Coral Canyon Cowboys series, however it looks like there is also a story for Tex’s brother, Mav, that is a prequel and available through the author’s newsletter. But for me, this is the first book that I have read with these brothers.

This is a second chance at love romance between two high school sweethearts. It is also a little bit of a celebrity romance, but not a lot. Tex is a country music star, however, the fame doesn’t seem to be a big issue in the small town he grew up in with his brothers.

I loved seeing Tex and Abby reconnect. The author did a great job of capturing their feelings of uncertainty toward each other and the exciting possibility of the rekindling of their old romance. I really liked Tex’s son, Bryce, too.

With Tex coming from a family of nine brothers, there ended up being a lot of people introduced in this book. I didn’t have a problem with understanding who they were or how they fit in to the family. It was clear that the author was setting things up for future stories.

I listened to the audio version of the book and the narrators were both very good. They kept me interested in the story and both did a good job with the various character voices. I’m looking forward to reading or listening to more in this series.

(4.5 stars)

I received a complimentary copy of this audio book, however, I own a copy of the ebook. All opinions are my own.

Fantastic!

Loving this new series! Tex is a great character, and I have a feeling so are all his brothers - I'm excited to read their stories too. This was a wonderful sweet, second-chance romance. I liked Abby's strong character and her development in the story. My heart got tugged in places, and I enjoyed the banter and the kissing scenes a lot! A fantastic story that you'll definitely enjoy.

Not realistic; religious romance

The story was a decent base but had more characters and different view points but read like someone preaching. As an old woman myself, the book wasn't realistic and the writer had rose colored glasses on. No suspense, no twists, and it would have been better if actual response were closer to reality. Sorry but boring read for me

This was okay.. just eh. I thought the beginning was really strong. Then in the middle we switched to a random person's pov and I was like wtf??? Then it got kind or boring in the middle but the romance was good. Although I will not be continuing with the series.

Text Young is moving back to Coral Canyon with his son Bryce he is the lead singer of country quad it very popular singing group but he wants downtime with his son and is moving back to his hometown at the auction to purchase back his parents farm house he never thought he would be going up against Abby his childhood sweetheart and next-door neighbor. For many reasons the auction battle is contentious but in the end they agree after learning Abby doesn’t even have the amount she bid, they will go in halves on the farm. Tex and Brice will live there and fix it up. Abby resigned herself to it especially when she cannot even look text in the eyes due to the butterflies that inhabit her stomach. He fixes the house much faster then Abby thought he would an even Dean can tell she is falling for him again it just takes Abby a little bit longer. Tex and Bryce are definitely settling in they even get a dog named Fanny from Aim, someone who I suspect is from a previous book as are a lot of the characters in text. I have seen these books titled as the young brothers and Coral Canyon Cowboys a place other Siri‘s by her have been set. I wish we would have gotten a book about Dean but unfortunately in this one he has a girlfriend is an injured soldier and Abbys brother but I digress. This is a great book about family God love and what makes a Home. I was excited to read all the books by her but it seemed they are all second chance romance is something I am not a big fan of but I did thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought the two narrators did a great job. I also thought it was great that Abby question whether she would be a good substitute parent for Bryce when the whole time her and Bryce were having a banging relationship and he really seemed to like her so her worries were for not. There’s a lot of great aspects to this book especially their devotion to God and their friends and how loving they are even to Aim who had a hard time letting Francesca go with Tex. Just know there’s much more to this book than what I put in my review we get to know his brother math and we get the set up for the next book with Morris who gets ghosted the more I reviewed this book the more I think I will read more of the story despite it being another second chance romance because I say I don’t like that trope but totally enjoyed this book it was so good. I want to thank the publisher the author and net galley for my free arc copy please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

*This includes a review of the audiobook.

Tex is the first book in a new series by Liz Isaacson. (Although once I starts reading this one, I suspected there was a prequel story. I believe Mav can be acquired by a newsletter sign up.) They are wholesome, Christian cowboy romances.

I'd actually been very interested in this series and had purchased the ebook a whole ago but hadn't read it yet. The story wasn't exactly riveting but was fine. Then over a third of the way through it, there were some chapters about random people loosely connected to the main characters and not really related to the primary storyline. I was a little lost. After that, the book seemed to take on more of a family saga type vibe. Maybe the author was trying to set up more of the following books, but it just took me out of the flow of Tex and Abbey.

As mentioned at the outset, I listened to the audio for this book. Dreamscape provided me with an advanced copy to listen to. I am happily and voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This book is told in the third person point of view but has dual narrators. I really enjoyed and appreciated that. The male voice definitely had a cowboy feel to his narrative. I didn't feel like I was being read to at all. That can sometimes be challenging, especially with 3rd person POVs. I think I've heard the female narrator read a romcom before. She has a distinctive voice quality. It took me a little while to adjust to her in a different role.

One note I have about the male voice is that he didn't really have different voices for the different characters. So if my mind wandered while listening, it was hard to determine who was talking. I do realize that with so many brothers and other male characters in the book, it would be almost impossible for all of them to have distinct "voices". I just thought I would make that known. It is a little different than many of the other books I have list8to in that respect. But he does do a good job with his reading quality.

Thanks to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the advanced listening copy of this book.

Tex
Coral Canyon Cowboys #1

Liz Isaacson
Tex is back. He left town years ago breaking Abigall’s heart. The old homestead was up for auction and Tex wanted it but so did Abigail. She was so determined to purchase the farm that was next door to her family’s property that she got carried away and bid more than she should have. Tex suggested they own it together. Reluctantly she agreed; she couldn’t see where it was going to be to her advantage.
Tex and his son jumped in and started remodeling the old farmhouse. He spent the last two decades as a country music star. He and his brothers were the Country Quad. Tex is tired of living on the road; he wanted to spend time with his 17-year-old son. When not one of his 9 sons showed any interest in the family farm Tex’ father decided to sell it. After discussing it with his brothers they all decided it was time to come home to Coral Canyon. It took a lot of work and money, but Tex and Brice made progress on the old farm.
Abigail wants the farm. She and her disabled brother live on the small farm next door to the larger farm. She was devastated when Tex had left her so he could be a big country star. She was in love with him and still is but could she trust him not to break her heart again. Tex knew he still loved her and always had but how could he convince her that she could trust him.
This is a second chance romance. Tex is the first book in the Coral Canyon Cowboys series. I loved Tex and his whole family. I thought Abby was a bit strange. It was obvious that the two loved each other but she was sharp tongued and hesitated to give him a second chance. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Tex is the first book in Liz Isaacson’s Coral Canyon Cowboys series. Tex Young, eldest of the nine Young brothers and lead singer of the family country band Country Quad, has returned home to Coral Canyon with his 17 year old son Bryce. After years of working on the road and seeing his son only summers and holidays, his son is coming to live with him full time and to complete his senior year in Coral Canyon. With many of his other brothers back in the hometown and their parents aging, Tex is set to come home, get some land, and begin anew.

As Tex and Bryce drive into town, the father takes his son by the old family ranch just to find the place in a state of disrepair and set to go up for auction the following day. As they walk around the place an indignant Abigail Ingalls comes from the ranch next door, set to chase away a developer only to find the guy that broke her heart almost 20 years ago.

In a bidding war, Abigail outbids Tex, but then is unable to produce the cash only price. Tex, anticipates this might be the case and hangs around after the auction is over. When a partial loan falls through, Tex proposes they split the cost and become co-owners. Meanwhile, he and Bryce will move in to the old farmhouse and begin fixing up the house and property.

This is a story of homecoming on many levels. First to reunite with family, then to the land, and then to those left behind. This novel is an enjoyable and heartwarming journey into small town Wyoming with wonderful characters. I did enjoy this book and do recommend it.

Tex and Abby were great characters, believable with some interesting quirks and challenges. Yes, Tex is a handsome cowboy, a country rock star, has some money but is a down to earth kind of guy. And he has some baggage, a broken marriage, a 17 year old son, and a high school crush living next door. Abby, well, she’s got a quick mouth, doesn’t like surprises, remembers her time with Tex before he went off to college and forgot her, and she has a broken relationship with another man. Of course, she is beautiful. What’s not to like.

Isaacson has some humorous exchanges that are quite a chuckle; in fact, a couple brought more than a smile to my face. A lady asking Abby about her relationship was one. Abby is in denial, but the other gal presses her in a good way with humor and pointed questions and statement.

Perhaps a negative of sorts was the introduction of other brothers and starts of their stories. It was a distraction for me and in some cases didn’t really move the core story along at all. Maybe it was just a marketing ploy to get the reader interested in buying the other books in the series; there are a good number of them.

It’s light reading. It’s fun. The main characters are engaging. The romance moves along with a few bumps in the road, mostly self caused. Good values are expressed. Families and hard work are two that are obvious as is honesty in dealing with others. The setting worked well. The context of the big family of nine brothers brought some extra color. It was an entertaining read. Get it and enjoy.

I absolutely LOVED this book! Tex, a member of Country Quad, a traveling cowboy band, returns to his home town once he gains custody of his teenage son Bryce. He realizes he's neglected his son--and so much more--for all the years he's travelled with the band. As he drives by his childhood home, he notices it's rundown and neglected and for sale! He also meets his high school sweetheart Abby when he stops to look over the house. Regrets abound how he up and left her when he went to college and became Country Quad. Through Abby's determination to own the property next door, and a happenstance, both Abby and Tex become co-owners of the property, with Tex moving into the run-down home and financing the upgrades and repairs. Tex's brothers arrive to help fix up their childhood home (and maybe fix up Tex's love life as well). I loved how Tex and Bryce bonded as father and son and Bryce's logic in certain situations--especially when it comes to Tex and Abby's relationship. As Tex digs in to hard work fixing up his childhood home and past relationships, will he realize it's not always possible? If so, at what cost?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book--looks like it's going to be a fun new series--can't wait for more!
I received a complimentary ARC of this book and have voluntarily given my honest opinion in this review.

This is a modern Christian romance about two high school sweethearts, Abigail and Tex, getting a second chance about 20 years later.

While it seems like Tex messed everything up the first time, Abigail is definitely the problem the second time around. Her admitted hot temper and inability to control her tongue and/or actions was always just addressed with “I’m trying” and then given a pass and almost even encouraged as strong or feisty. But it got tiring to read and made it hard to root for her love story.

Still, I kept reading and felt invested enough in the world and characters. The author is clearly developing this Wyoming town for a series, and in doing so introduces dozens of characters, even skipping to their viewpoints, so it gets confusing sometimes. I’m assuming that if you read the entire series then it will eventually be easier to keep them all straight, but it threw me for a loop about halfway through.I did enjoy some of them though, such as the Otis and Georgia storyline, and would definitely read that one.

Overall, the was an okay 3 star read for me, not my favorite couple, but a decent world of characters around them. And the audiobook narration helped to keep the story easy to listen to. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This story begins the series about the Young Brothers and in this case, Tex.
Tex left town when he and his brothers left Coral Canyon to start their music career and later became known as the Country Quad .
Twenty years later, Tex is back with his son remembering the life he left behind.
When he sees the ranch his father had sold years ago is up for auction, Tex and his brothers decide to purchase. Whom he never expected to see again was Abigail Ingalls. She was the girl he left behind. Nowadays a librarian and owner of the adjacent farm, she bids against him and wins the ranch.
From that moment on, all bets are off as he decides to win back the ranch, and maybe the girl. What happens when things don’t go as planned? Will these two find not only peace but also a future, or will the past and old hurts keep them apart?
The narrators Amanda Stribling and Tyler Darby brought the story to life, though at times the Southern drawl caused this listener to stop and listen careful to the story.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook by Netgalley and Dreamscape. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

So I read book5 first (Gabriel) and I enjoyed it that I’m gonna do the series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tex is a strong (headed) guy, who’s making up for lost time and feels a lil’guilty with/for his son, love the closeness of their relationship and the whole Young Family (just don’t see that much anymore)
I like Abby, and can understand her method of thinking & hot-headedness😡😳😊 but yes, screwing them both outta all that money at the auction was just wasteful & Stupid!!!
📖Like that there’s chapters for other characters too👍👍
Gotta say, I was surprised when he didn’t want her to be a mute, brainless, well behaved doll, he actually said “Abby, you don’t have to change for me.” And couple other nice things 🩵

💔🫤☹️ …. Some of the “romantic” things are just not that romantic to me example:
(Wade to Cheryl)
“I know our lives won’t be easy, but I’d rather have a harder life with you in it than an easier one without you.” He held up the ring. “Will you marry me?”
💔I do not find that proposal romantic at all, I’d actually be hurt & insulted, and embarrassed!!! ☹️ to me he’s saying being with HER will be soo hard, but he’s willing…. Ummm no thanks, it shouldn’t be a chore…

This the first book about the oldest of the Young family, Tex. This book gives us a basic introduction to the family and a taste of their dynamics. I LOVE the family time, and the little taste into the brother's lives. Tex has an 18 year old son, he just goy full custody of, so he is navigating that, he is part of country music band, so a star, who still owes his label an album. Then he meets up with his high school sweetheart whom he left behind when he left town. He has a ton to juggle and deal with, plus the run down family farm he bought with said Ex. Abby is a sassy little thing, who always felt she would end up alone. So you will have to read through to see what happens, it does not disappoint, the characters are fantastic, if you have read the past books that take place in Coral Canyon, you get to see some cameos, if you have not, well you wont be lost, but you might LOVE to go get caught up!! As always this book is clean with no smut, and not a cliff hanger. But it is a family saga, so it does leave you wanting for more. I for one LOVED it!!

I bought the Coral Canyon which had 4 stories of the Young brothers.

What a fun story. Tex is the oldest of the Young brothers, a major part of their country band and he worries a lot. He has come home to Coral Canyon with his 17 year old son, Bryce, so that Bryce can finish his senior year of high school living with Tex. When they stop to look at the old farm where Tex grew up and his father sold years ago, they see it so run down and Tex decides to buy it.

Abby, the ex-girlfriend, lives next door to the Young farm which was deserted and left to fall apart. She wants that property and there is a bidding war between Tex and Abby at the auction for the farm. She is living on her family’s farm next door, taking care of her brother who lost his legs in the service.

It is fun to watch how they have to come to grips with how they feel about each other now after so many years. And reading how they juggle their responsibilities and personalities keeps you wanting to find out what will happen. Love the Young brothers.

This is a wonderful beginning to a new series in Coral Canyon Wyoming. The Young brothers (9 of them) grew up in Coral Canyon, but none of them wanted the family ranch when their father decided to sell it. When Tex, the oldest, decides it is time to step back from Country Quad, the family band he leads, to concentrate on his 17 year old son he returns to Coral Canyon and decides to buy the family ranch and restore it. The girl next door is his high school sweetheart he left behind when he went to college, got married, divorced, and became a country music star. She has never forgotten him and as they reconnect they rekindle their romance. Of course it is not a smooth road with ups and downs. I just love the family interaction between the brothers and their families. Also it was great to have other characters from past books like the Hammonds and Whittakers. I can't wait for the next book.

Tex is the lead singer in his band with 3 of his 8 brothers. He's been on the road for nearly all of his son's life, but now his 17 year old son has come to live with him permanently. Tex decides to move back to his hometown for at least the summer, but perhaps permanently.

He finds the ranch where he grew up fallen into disrepair and about to be auctioned off. His only real competitor in the bidding is the girl next door, the one he left behind before heading off to college many years ago.

They have their difficulties, but are still in strong like, and falling in love.

This is the first of what will probably become a long series. I was a bit confused when al the brothers were coming together toward the end of the book, because there were so many of them! I think a guide to who everyone is, would be very useful.

The story is well written, as all of the author's books are. I was provided with an advance reader copy by the author. This is my honest review.

The start of the Young brothers series - and it's a great start. A wonderful romance that sets the stage for the rest of the brothers in the family (there's a lot of them, so a lot of books to read! yay!). I really like the way the author has created a tv-series in book form, its a western / cowboy family saga, with horses, music (guitars) and personal baggage unique to each character that they need to trust God with. awesome... definitely reading this whole series!

The author writes from multiple POV, not just the main two characters, oh how I really like this. I enjoyed getting to know the other brothers and seeing a different viewpoint of the story. this is not something a lot of authors do, but it drew me into the story more.
This is a clean romance (no blushing required, no language filters needed). It is a standalone story (so Tex's story has a satisfactory end) but best to just keeping on reading the whole series to follow the rest of the brothers!

This story follows Tex a famous music star who moves home to his hometown to raise his sons and be close to family. When his family home goes up for auction he runs into an old flame, Abigail, who has her own plans for the farm.

Where do I begin with this book? I think it has so much potential and if you want a good Christian romance this book could be for you but it was not for me. I think what I found frustrating is that Tex and Abigail is that there wasn't much holding them together. If they were not neighbors who had previously dated they both could have married anyone else and been fine. There should have been more that they built upon or more interactions that brought them back together. The premise sounded great and I love a good Christian romance now and again but what I didn't like was the effort to build a relationship that we would root for. This book definitely set up the rest of the series and I feel like the other brothers books might be a little better but there was so many POV's by the end of people who I didn't feel were necessary to Tex and Abigail's story I felt they were fillers because there wasn't much to say about this particular couple if you know what I mean.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story.

"Tex" is the first in a series by Liz Isaacson. It's a sweet Western Romance centered around brothers that are in a country western group. Tex goes back to his hometown to buy back his family's ranch, but runs into his old girlfriend who also wants to buy the ranch. Will Tex and Abigail fall back in love or will pride keep them apart?

Check this one out if you enjoy inspirational Western romances that are fully of family and some quirky characters.

I listened to the audiobook. There were two narrators for the audiobook - a male and female narrator. They did an excellent job and the voices were fitting for a book set in Montana. For listeners of audiobooks that love inspirational Western romances this one was well done. The narrators were easy to listen to and I enjoyed the production for this book.

A sweet and swoony story that is brought to a new level of excitement with the dual narration. I enjoyed both narrators and like that the difference in tone helps differentiate the main characters. The story itself is cute and has a bit of complexity with all the different brothers. I love the sibling dynamic and how each brother has their own personality that shows up even in the few minutes we might spend with them. The relationship between the main characters grows naturally and it all comes together in a sweet conclusion. I like the initial competition element between Tex and Abigail and how it slowly progressed to sharing hopes and dreams and trying to forgive past hurts.
I received a copy of this audiobook through NetGalley. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
