Sarah Smith is a woman out of options. So she turns to being a mail order bride.
When a small town welcomes Sarah into its midst, she realizes that her hopes for a happy and normal life are far out of reach.
Sarah discovers that she has a serious face blindness. She finds it hard to recognize anyone, and her condition is driving her far from those she loves.
Sarah’s adversity is further tested when she gets to know her husband-to-be Stephen Tyler, a pastor expecting perfection out of himself. When they got married, Stephen realizes that his hope for a harmonious lifestyle may turn into just a dream.
What happens when Sarah and Stephen join together in union, with one unable to recognize anyone and the other seeking perfection? Each book in the Frontier Women series is a standalone story that can be read out of order.

Sarah Smith has come to the small town of Stillwater as a mail order bride to marry the pastor, Stephen Tyler. Each is surprised that the other is young & attractive, as they both expected far less in a mail order spouse and neither had seen a picture of the other.

As expected in this type of story, each of them has secrets about their pasts that will likely cause problems as the plot unfolds. In Sarah's case, the issue is that she is unable to recognize the faces of anyone she meets, no matter how long or short of a time she has known them. She has been using other small tricks to keep that fact hidden as she believes that it means there is something fundamentally wrong with her that would make no one want her around.

Like Ms. Linnington’s other mail order bride tales, I greatly enjoyed reading this one. We get to see Sarah grow from a scared and unsure young woman into a stronger and braver version of herself than even she thought she could ever become. And as always, seeing the journey of how she gets there and who she would become is what I felt was the best part of the story.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mail order bride romances as well books that allow the characters to grow and to overcome unexpected hardships and other challenges.

Mailorder Groom Romance

The twists in this book 📖 is unique. Sarah is a young woman in New York who has lost her job and will have no way to pay her rent. So instead of looking for a husband, she place an ad tels her skills and waits for an answer. Read to find the twists and their outcome. I did!!!!!

Another Home Run

Florence Linington has written another book that has been a great read! When I first started reading it I couldn't put it down, it was a pretty good read. Stephen, the hero, had a bad season and he didn't have enough give to support his wife Sarah, the heroin, They went through very hard time. Well that's about enough for now, Enjoy the book!

A sweet romance but unfortunately almost a forgettable as faces are to the heroine. I kept waiting for something to happen and when it did it was too much and convoluted. 😒 I'm sorry because I really wanted to like this story as it combines many of my favorite genres. A historical, small town romance with just regular people. I read a story about a character with face blindness and it was really fascinating. I was hoping to get a different viewpoint of this disability, but this story really didn't contribute much.
