Another twisty friendship suspense read from the bestselling author of THE SINGLE WIFE.
The perfect life is always achievable with a little hard work. Isn't it...?
Life coach Tara's situation certainly seems perfect - she enjoys a booming career, great house, exotic vacations and flashy sports car to match. But most important of all, a happy home with Glenn.
Glamorous London PR specialist Natalie has achieved success in everything she's ever set her mind to - except relationships.
When the two strike up an unlikely friendship during a stay at the same tropical beach resort, Tara agrees to coach Natalie towards landing the man of her dreams. Blissfully unaware that they have a lot more in common than she realised...
I just didn't see anything that happened coming. So well written that when all the truths come to the surface you will see nothing as if it seems. Don't miss out on this amazing book.
Not a fan. Sorry to those who loved reading "The Wife Coach," by Ella King. I loved the premise, but not the execution, though the book did get better in the later sections. There were a few good twists that caught me off guard (so that is a plus), but it all felt dreary and draggy to me. There were suspected betrayals and lies, secrets and revelations, but by the time they were laid out, I no longer cared. I am not going to summarize the book. You can read hundreds of reviews if you so choose, but this one is not really worth my time. Was it the worst book ever? Definitely not. It was written well, technically, and it had great potential. I just was not moved by it in any way. 3 stars because there is nothing inherently wrong with it, just not a book I would recommend.
Another amusing and fun read with her trademark twists and amusing, endearing characters! Being an American but with Irish grandparents (sadly long gone now) the Irish vernacular and sense of humor has always held a large appeal for me but I have been binge reading so many of her books lately that a few of her slang words have popped out of my own mouth lately. Anyway, I enjoyed the ending and that always gets a good review out of me!!!
Oooops I thoroughly enjoyed this book - I’m not supposed to, am I, being as it’s not literature and hardly educational but it was a fun yarn full of lovely people and a couple of clever twists besides. Ok; so it’s a beach read, so shoot me, but guess what, I was entertained and that’s enough for me. Three shiny stars
Not sure how to describe this book. More chick - lit with a few plot lines that keep up guessing. And one revelation that was almost creepy at first, until you went back through the previous chapters and realize, you were truly tricked. Well played. P.S. Loved the very end, would not have minded more.
This is story is anything but boring! Writer keeps her Readers on the edge of their seats. Liz and Tara good friends and truthful deal with hidden secrets from over ones that affect their own lives. What a rollercoaster of surprises and fantastic suspense until end of story.
Very similar in style to The Single Wife by the same author and I began to fear we'd be left with just as many loose ends but thankfully everyone's "issues" appear at least partly resolved in this story.
This book is a great beach read, it’s quick, quirky and fun. The characters were well written, vibrant and relatable as was the story. If you are looking for something to “take you away’ for a few hours this book is just the ticket.
The whole book I was confused at the characters, which I'm sure the author wanted, but closer to the end when everything becomes clearer it's is a nice turn around and make some interesting but funny and happy book
I enjoyed reading this book, easy read with a few little twists here and there about the characters which was interesting! I recommend this book, especially if you're going on holiday
This author’s skill at weaving a plot continues to enthrall me. Never figured it out until the very end. To juggle the number of parts to the intertwining friendships and have the reader’s emotions all over the place is a unique skill.
I thought the author started off with too many female characters. Not enough description of these characters or how they fit together. By the time I was able to understand the storyline I had finished the book.
A good read that I could hardly put down. Great characters all going through challenges in their lives. Some true unexpected events become true at the end. A great ending to the story!!!
This book was so good and it really had some interesting plot twists. I highly recommend this book to people who are tired of the same old boy meets girl dull routine.
Good easy read, took me a minute to figure out the characters and then plot twist threw me, almost went back to reread part of it thinking how did I miss that!

I wasn’t expecting some of the twist and turns at the end! Overall a good book and entertaining. I found it a slow read and that the characters could have been developed a bit more.
The author saves a plot twist towards the end, this one was about Tara, the life coach. She lived with Glenn, who turns out is her son. Shes been giving a new friend relationship advice and when she goes to meet Natalies new boyfriend, we find out he's actually her old boyfriend and the father of her child.
