Junie B. Jones has been a favorite since Ann-Marie's readings in college :) I own the whole collection of paperbacks, and listening to them is fun too. My favorite is still "Peep in Her Pocket", and Kate liked "Captain Field Day". I first tried reading these to Natalie when she was 4, and I was uncomfortable with all the impressionable bad behavior that I didn't want her to copy. But now, Junie B is just great fun and funny!

Another funny collection of Junie B. Jones books...This little girl is full of attitude, but it's not always the right kind of attitude. She is constantly getting into trouble and incorrectly repeats phrases she has heard from adults...At times, the books remind me of Amelia Bedelia.

This fantastic book series always draws young readers into the very silly stories of Junie B. Jones. It is relatable and funny which all children will find interesting. The kindergartner, Junie B., is very loud and obnoxious. If the child who reads this is not like this character themselves, then they will at least know someone in their class that is like her.

Junie B. tells her stories in such a way that is keeps the reader focused on the main point and the reader will not become distracted as it is very fun to read and silly. The author, Barbara Park, uses certain text in the books like all caps or has Junie B. using her made up words, and it creates an attraction toward the page.

The words and the story are not the only thing that the readers will love. The illustrations show Junie B. just as wild and cantankerous as her character should be. The messy hair, the sloppy clothes, the lively personality: she has it all, and the illustrations capture her character perfectly.

I read this book a long time ago probably when I was like 5. Anyways I loved this series! It was amazing from what I remember... I rated it so low because I didn't want good reads to think that I currently like this boom because that would mess up all of my recommendations! So that's why I rated this book so low!

Junie B. Jones was by far one of my favorite chapter book series throughout my childhood. My mother began by reading these books to me, then with me (I read a page and she reads a page) and then I carried on reading them by myself. I love the wit that Park includes in her writing style and the silly and lovable character of Junie B.
