Such a great ride through this amazing series. So much action, twists, turns, a budding romance, suspense and many different demons, monsters, Gods, Druids, and Dragons. I have always enjoyed this entire series. But I must say that these trilogies have been more amazing than the last. All these characters that I have grown to love and root for continue to impress me.
Daegan the Dragon King is on a quest to find the Immortuous Grimoires and encounters trouble after trouble. Every enemy accuses him of something even though he is innocent of all accusations tossed his way. He confronts every obstacle with honor. Someone is impersonating his Red Dragon again and he needs to prove it isn't his Red Dragon, but there is little time to find the Grimoires volumes and prove his innocence yet again.
Cassidhe, who doesn't even know the extent of her own powers or her history, is stuck in the midst of trying to help Daegan while at the same time trying to help Herrick. She finds herself caring for Daegan and questioning all she has been taught.
Quinn and Reese - Rooting for them to make things work. Reese is tough and independent and is a demon magnet so Quinn is in a constant state of worry. Will they open up to each other? Can't wait to see what blooms from this relationship and will they all survive.
Tristan is the best second in command. He has proven time and again his loyalty to Daegan and the Beladors.
Skarde - What is his deal? He is so full of hate that he doesn't even listen to Daegan.
Joavan - He seems like a character that you can't fully trust ever. He is Faytheen and speaks in riddles and never out right tells the full truth, only half truths. Daegan knows he can't trust him but is grateful to him for saving his life.
Ainvar - We don't really get to much from him. Is he good or evil? Was he truthful about Joavan?
Can't wait to continue on this journey and see what becomes of all these great characters.

This middle section of the 9 volume Treoir Dragon series is full of action, a budding romance and all sorts of mystical creatures and monsters.
Dianna Love does great urban fantasy, and this series features some of her best.

Fast paced action from the beginning, I was all in and could hardly put it down; I couldn’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series. The twists and turns had me nearly falling off the edge of my seat. Kudos to Dianna Love for another great series!!
