Hmm, I don’t know.
I’m gonna be honest, I read this in one day, one very stressful high-stakes day. Forgive me for not being able to remember any of their names. It feels rude to not call them by their names, however, I am very tired, and unwilling to look through the comic again in order to figure out their names (before you ask, there is no wiki or any info page, believe me i’ve looked).
I really liked this! until the thirtieth chapter :)
Nothing awful happened, it is a welcome shift from, Love Stage as there is no full on non-con or anything. It just wasn’t my thing. I really really liked most of the first season until chapter thirty, because it seemed the author just totally dropped the story. I wasn’t aware that there was going to be nsfw stuff, so it caught me off guard. Nothin' wrong with smut and the like, I just think they sacrificed the plot to fit in those two scenes.
It felt like blonde guy's confession (if you could even call it that) came out of nowhere. He clearly had feelings for black hair guy, but he certainly didn’t understand those feelings himself before the hotel thing. He just kinda got flustered a couple of times and then wanted to kiss him once and went “well obviously that means i’m in love with him.” without thinking about it at all.
Up until that point, I was obsessed. The story was so intriguing to me. I was sad to see it go. I especially loved black haired guy and his friend, silver haired guy’s relationship. I thought it was wonderful to see an uncommon kid of relationship represented but alas, blonde guy becomes a jealous loser and they stop seeing each other like that.
There is one thing that happens during one of the sex scenes that is super not okay, but apparently this is a fantasy world in which people are able to recover from wounds that would leave people sore and bleeding for weeks in a day, so… whatever.
If I were you, I’d read up until chapter 29, stop reading, and just pretend that blonde guy died.
