Noooooo, I don’t want this story arc that’s starting. Advisor Keishuk and Ju-Do (AND SU-WON, for goodness’s sake) need to go away.
I want things to go back to the way they were.
It’s only been half a volume of this arc, and I already miss the good old days. Can things go back to the way they were? *sobs*

Yun wakes us up each morning. Hak and I do morning practice. Gina and Sinha go fishing. Jaeha helps with the cooking. Yun grumpily wakes Zeno up. We eat a small breakfast by the fire. That’s how we start the day together. It’s a humble life… but such a happy one.
It’s only been half a volume of this arc, and I already miss the good old days. Can things go back to the way they were? *sobs*

hoooooly shit the political maneuvering in this is DIABOLICAL. for a volume following the aftermath of few volumes of big battles and mortal peril, the tension is still SO HIGH. so well done.

If dread were incarnated it would be this volume.
Things are never exactly calm in this series, there's always something or other happening, but while things can get grim and dark at times there has almost never been a time when such a complete sense of dread, grief, pain, and apprehension inundated me as it has happened now.
Certainly, it's not exactly a pleasant experience as it does induce much anxiety.
Kusanagi will always outstand me with the way she can capture emotions so rawly with her drawings and story. I swear I could feel the desperate emotions from the characters coming through the page and constricting my throat, freezing my veins with every new panel.
My hatred towards Joo-doh and Kye-sook has never been greater.
As much as I'm in love with this series, I'm frozen with fear and dread to the point that reading more seems like a terrifying idea. I wanted them all to be safe and happy forever, it's not too much to ask for.
“Before I knew it, it was more happiness than I could hold. Yoon calling out ‘good morning’ Hak and I doing morning practice. Kija and Shin-ah going fishing. Jae-ha helping with the cooking. Zeno waking up to an angry earful from Yoon. All of us eating a small breakfast around the fire. Beginning our days in a meager way, but so happy. But soon, those days will be over.”

I loved so much about this volume! The upcoming story arc is going to be truly amazing, as we have all of the characters in play. Yona's true strength continues to come out in this volume, and I am so excited to continue my journey with them.

I keep getting sucked into these volumes and picking up the next one ASAP to skim, only to "forget" what this volume was about because I got so caught up in new developments. LOL!
And what a development this volume is!! (That opening illustration when you first open the volume is so so so soft. Extremely touching and just like can we have more of that please?!)
While I haven't missed seeing Su-won with all the AWESOME Yona and Hak ship vibes, I miss having him around when Keishuk is on page. He may not be worse then Gobi when it comes to actions, but man he's right under him. I can't stand that guy!!! He's frustratingly smart and a kind of deviousness that I genuinely don't know if he will turn on Yona and everyone or not. He SAYS he will not, but he's crazy good manipulative and didn't think I would come to feel worry(?!) for Su-won because where is the Su-won I totally loved seeing on page at the beginning of this series?! He seems totally passive and I don't understand why he is being passive NOW when he never has been. We saw all the ways he excelled as new King, only for him to now let his advisor take the lead?? I don't like it. Not just because I don't like Keishuk's treatment to Yona and the Dragons (especially Hak), but just in general because Su-won is acting a shell of himself compared to who he has been before now.
Anyway, this was a good volume, but man I miss the old days of this series just like how Yona was explaining their days use to be. I'm not looking forward to seeing this group in the palace because I don't think that is where Yona belongs. I'm not saying she shouldn't be crowned as Queen, what I'm saying is that her being trapped in/enclosed by four walls and being shown off as a princess is not who she is. Top that with the Dragons not even being able to be around her and its beyond upsetting and frustrating. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if this next arc is long because take us back out into the fields where our hungry bunch is helping people!
Zeno is an interesting character. I've enjoyed his carefree ways, but were back to seeing I think some of his "truer" nature like we did when he first showed it in the conversation they had with Ik-su and Zeno point blanked asked Yona what she will do. However, this time he gives prodding(?) encouragement and between that and his facial expressions, it seem almost at odds with who we know. I second Sinha's statement that Zeno is angrier then he use to be! LOL! (Granted, I think that is because he is slowly caring more and more for everyone, which is wonderful. <3)
And Sinhaaaaaa! I am LOVING seeing him more talkative!! It's SOOOOOOO wonderful and just love his character to pieces!!
Gija is SUCH a hoot! I love Sinha's character SO very much, but I am so often reminded how wonderful everyone is, but specifically this volume, I was touched how Gija is easily manipulated in regards to an event at Hiryuu Palace and then goes all out later. Bahahahahaha! He is so great!!
That Yona moment with Hak was EVERYTHINGGGGGGGG! I'm sort of questioning how much more will be getting since there has been a change of direction...

This volume both made me very happy and very anxious/stressed for our poor Happy Hungry Bunch. 🥰😩 I literally had to read the ending three times before I was okay (read: not happy but fine) with the cliffhanger I’ve been left on.
But Yona finally told Hak! *happy squealing* 😍🥰 That was sooo cute, and I’m glad they both have gotten their true feelings for each other out in the open before everything went down and separated them AGAIN. (stop separating my ship already!!!!) Like good grief these two cannot catch a break, seriously. And their love and care for their friends…so heartbreakingly good. 😩😭🥰
And Adviser Keishuk can be flung off a cliff and die by the end of this series. In fact, how about we burn him at the stake. 🔥😡 I DO NOT LIKE HIM! There’s no telling what he’s planning next, and Su-Won doesn’t seem intent on stopping him? Like what’s up with that?!?
Though we can always count on Gija to jump right in for the greater good. 😂 All I can say is get ‘em, Gija, show them what fools they are. And beat Ju-Do’s face in too while you’re at it being awesome. 😆
This volume has made me pretty wrecked, and I don’t think things are gonna get easier for my beloved Happy Hungry Bunch soon. So I am both excited and nervous for the next volume. If you would rather preserve your blood pressure I would recommend waiting for at least Volume 35 to come out. I’m an idiot and probably won’t, but for those out there smarter than me you might want to take that into consideration. 😜

i don't say i'm kinda sympathize with soo-won and understood his motive but that's what i'm saying.
also chapter 176: YONA CONFESSED TO HAK! i was so happy i wanna cry. and the next chapter hak thought "shit i'm so happy" he couldn't believe she returned his feeling :")
but back to soo-won i really Don't Like his advisor, he's far more dangerous and manipulative than joo-doh.

There's no time for any of the characters to recover from the Sen Province arc (and the confessions!!) because political maneuverings waits for no one. Tensions are high as Yona and the Dragons now have the attention of citizens from across the nation. With their immense popularity and success with vanquishing enemies, Advisor Keishuk is left with only one option - to invite Yona and Dragons with Hiryuu palace and offer them a safe haven and to potentially work together.
What's the catch thought? What is Keishuk planning? He's clearly opting for the "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" route while also trying to manipulate Yona and the Dragons to garner public support for Su-Won.
The political tension, slow-burn romance, and the amazing characters continue to fascinate me. I also think this new story arc is going to be really interesting and can't wait to see what happens next!

Pues había leído por ahí que este era un volumen tranquilo después de toda la acción de los últimos tomos, pero, a ver: con todo el politiqueo conspiranoico y situaciones superincómodos que hay, tranquilo, tranquilo no me parece. Y el final..., no podía terminar con una situación más tensa.

Dang, the stakes got raised... The political maneuvers here are so deep and twisty! I really don't like Keishuk at all... he's way too much of an unknown. It will be interesting to see how this changes the trajectory of everyone as well...

A lot happened in just one volume!!!! Yona gives me instant serotonin. I love all of these characters so much!! I really can’t wait to know what happens. This volume had so many great moments and I can’t get enough of it
